875,000.....was that really a sell? I'm a bit of a numpty at things like this but if it had been a sell then surely the share would have nose dived?

Regarding the tantilum price the Congo has stopped exporting as most companies buying need specific paper work from swamps/ mines including coordinates, percentages , records of employment for workers etc. I believe the tantilum price is at the bottom and if companies have good grades they can negotiate private deals with end users. 20% plus is regarded as a good grade.

I'm guessing that news will be forthcoming soon of the start of mining operations (which according to the company reports should be in the next couple of months) and with that in mind perhaps people are tentatively buying in. If it was a perfect world and share dealing made any sense then in theory this share should have a good upside and should do well upon a decent mining report but who knows?!

After months of no buying all of a sudden there has been buying all this week.
Hopefully news to come over the coming months.

A very positive and forward looking half yearly report.....so why no apparent interest? I'm guessing nothing will happen until the mine actually starts production and produces some cash flow?

kenv currently 3.625p, but issuing shares at a premium?

The Company can now confirm that all conditions associated with the Transaction have now been met and formal completion is expected to occur on 2 February 2015.

The total consideration of R12m (£0.66m), R4m (£0.22m) will be satisfied through the issuance of 4,523,113 Ordinary Shares in Kennedy Ventures at a price of 4.9p per share (the "Consideration Shares") and the remainder through a loan of R8m (£0.44m).

Al101uk, I've been doing my own research on this and looks as though peter cox of Ironveld fame is involved. If you look at the link below its seems aftan or African tantalum were owned by cox and competent person on the RNS prior to KENV's purchase!http://www.warmbadih.com/Pages/AfricanTantalum.aspxWhat puzzles me is that say production in 6months from close of deal. Does this mean there is a mine onsite or does it mean they will sell ore only?
