14/11/2015 17:31 | Despite the announcement released yesterday I’m not quite sure why the shares are fundamentally cheap. If they really can increase production as they aim to do then the shares become ridiculously cheap. There selling expenses with a long term off take are low | niloc2

13/11/2015 16:26 | looking at 2016, all commodities seem in a continual decline (iron, zinc, copper, ...) excepting... tantalum and lithium so where will all the institutions put their client's money this winter? on prices: In the U.S., November copper fell 2% to $2.1730, the lowest level since July 2009. In a research note dated Wednesday, Goldman Sachs analysts predicted copper prices will fall further by the end of 2016 and stay low through 2018 due to abundant supplies and weak demand. “There may be a lot of cuts coming, but the market isn’t sure if they are permanent in nature, or if they are enough to make up for the slowing demand,” said Edward Meir, a strategist at INTL FCStone. “China’s industrial sector appears to be in a recession.” The copper market has also been rattled by a strengthening dollar, which can further depress global demand by making dollar-denominated copper relatively more expensive for buyers outside the U.S. | andrbea

13/11/2015 14:49 | tantalum market rosy for next 5 years.... Canadian competitor with large tantalum deposit ($268m project) Tantalum is used in a wide variety of applications across the electronics, medicine, engineering and energy-generation industries. Nearly half of yearly tantalum consumption comes from the electronics industry. The blue-gray metal can be found in many everyday items, including laptops, smartphones, appliances, ATMs, vehicle navigation systems and hearing aids. Since 1995, the market for tantalum has experienced average yearly growth in demand of about 8 to 12 percent per year; analysts are now forecasting high tantalum prices for the next five years. End users are facing increasing market pressure to secure conflict-free sources of tantalum, further tightening global supply. Critical Elements is focused on developing supply for these critical markets at its Rose lithium-tantalum project. The unique geological properties of this deposit give it the potential to supply multiple markets, including battery grade, ceramic and glass and tantalum. | andrbea
13/11/2015 13:03 | In fact the chart has formed a rather tasty looking "bowl" shape and above 9p it should jump northwards. Is there any news expected that might precipitate this? I would post the chart only it currently has a missing recap of 100/1 on 8/11/2012. I have asked advfn to correct this. | horneblower
13/11/2015 09:24 | more news from PLS (competitor - also starting a tantalum mine) GOLDINVEST.DE: PILBARA MINERALS ALREADY TAKES DEGRADATION ON THE TANTALUM MINE TABBA TABBA November 11, 2015 The Australian lithium and tantalum company Pilbara Minerals (WKN A0YGCV /ASX PLS) is now immediately before the commencement of commercial production on the tantalum mine Tabba Tabba. The mine has been taken, while the production line early next month to be picked. With the start of mining operations and first Mahlarbeiten one wants ever stockpile of ore, which is to allow the continued operation of the mine. The processing plant with their Capacity of 120,000 tons per year was completed in Perth some time ago and is now fully installed. Picking should begin in a few days, as soon as you received the water license required. A first reduction, picking and first processing activities can start before the receipt of the last outstanding approval of the operating license, so that the full production can then run away and begin selling and delivery of the product produced at the mine. Pilbara expects to receive approval shortly, so it is hoped that the first commercial deliveries of ore from Tabba Tabba still be able to perform in December 2015 respectively. 13/11/2015 09:15 | some comparison figures from a Canadian tantalum mine: poster on asx today: Hence my AUS Market is not able to give a value to our project Canadian resource exploration company focused on advancing its Rose lithium-tantalum project in mining-friendly Quebec, Canada. The Rose deposit has an indicated resource of 26,500,000 tonnes containing 259,700 tonnes of lithium oxide and 9,514,317 pounds of tantalum pentoxide, and an inferred resource of 10,700,000 tonnes containing 92,020 tonnes of lithium oxide and 3,417,400 pounds of tantalum pentoxide. and its share price is .23c AUD equivalent... But different economics also from a PFS A 2011 PEA for the Rose lithium-tantalum project was completed in November 2011. Financial analysis was based on price forecasts of US$118 per pound for tantalum pentoxide contained in a tantalite concentrate and US$6,000 per tonne for lithium carbonate. The parameters for the PEA include a 1.5-million-tonne-pe An after-tax IRR of 25 percent An after-tax NPV of C$279 million at an 8-percent discount rate A payback period of 4.1 years A mine life of 17 years Estimated capital cost of C$268.6 million Operating costs of C$67.65 per tonne of ore milled Ongoing capital investments of C$36.8 million | andrbea

06/11/2015 13:15 | tantalum can command 5-year mine lives: from an aussie board today: OzBlue, if you check the bottom of page 3 of the last PLS Quarterly Activities Report you find that it states: "TTT has an agreement ("Mining & Processing Agreement") with Global Advanced Metals Wodgina Pty Ltd ("GAM"), which owns the underlying Tabba Tabba tenements. The Mining & Processing Agreement provides that the Tabba Tabba mine, which is currently being developed, has a fixed price, 5 year off-take agreement for its tantalite concentrate." Based on this I would suggest that the fluctuating price of tantalum will have no effect on the pending sales with GAM. FYI I hold both, More PLS than AJM. | andrbea
