The macro situation is as positive today for miners as it was back in 2006. Long term demographic changes mean a broadening middle class and they do like to consume things.

Congratulations to all still holding!
I had held these from years back when £3.50.
Decided to bail this time when they got to £3.85.

Was hoping for a retracement to get back in but does not look likely.
Definitely see these as much higher in the future.

I like to trade these GLEN and RIO, but will wait for what I see as new trading ranges first(hopefully!!)

Fair value has to be a function of the tonnage X production cost, taking into account the copper price X a low multiple.

What that figure is changes quickly with production rising so sharply and copper meteroring.

Any one attempted to work out fairvalue at 2.80 copper?

I will have a stab on the post Feb results.

Don't forget enterprise value is much higher than the share price suggests due to the debt.

At the moment, £6 would make all my Christmases.

Anyone got a full damental case for higher?

Soon we will see Market Capitalization larger than net debt .. which justifies KAZ returning to the land of the living. Take a look at historic values when this used to be the case! ll
