Well no, understandable. However the 2 notes issued before the results with very wide bands of price targets taking the share price down to 320p looked and look distinctive ly dodgy.

I like Just Eat as in investment. There is considerable growth potential in this share. In the markets where it is a leader, the barriers to entry are considerable. However, the same can be applied to the competition such as Hungryhouse in markets it operates where it is a leader.

As more and more people start using these services, it becomes difficult to go back.

I was very fortunate to close shorts on both Rocket and JE yesterday. Markets are all over the place so more short term trades for me. It is more obviously good for Rocket. Whilst I do accept that a deal can be good for both parties when one is selling non-core and another strengthening a position this is going to take a long time to pay back. I think the bounce in Grubhub has likely helped sentiment too.

No wonder Rocket took the cash instead of shares.

My view is this is preloading before short inspired drop.

Something smelt here over the last week and it wasn't the curry takeaway.
A 140-660p price range gives me the impression that the individual who wrote the
downgrade note didn't really have his heart and sole in it. I couldn't possibly say why but I don't need the answer on a postcard.

Phil - you are quite correct, UBS did give a 140-660 price range. I misread it as that wouldn't be much in the way of valuation advice.

fwiw I looked at the patterns and using Bulkowski's stats calculated the H&S [magenta] target at approx 304. Coincidentally, same target as previous H&S calc [in red]. Be interesting to see what happens...
