Decent write up on research tree,

"The shares currently trade on a lofty earnings multiple of 35x 2017 EPS and 25x 2018 EPS, but looking at the PEG ratio helps to understand why... the high growth expected from the Group results in a 2017 PEG of 0.94, just under the 1.0x generally assumed to show fair value."

Goldman Sachs have come out with an updated target price of 920p this morning. Don't have any further details but this is significantly higher than market consensus TP which is around 710p.

No, JE would cease to be listed. Depending on the terms of any takeover you might get cash or shares in the company taking over (or some combination of both) in return for your shares in JE.

What I mean to ask is, in the event of je being bought by Amazon (or anyone), would JE shares continue to be listed on LSE or are they then absorbed into the owner? Sorry, I am a complete newcomer.

I don't get you lot. unless you know something I don't, I've not seen any suggestion amazon would buy JE, whats so ever.

For the record, amazon cannot do and own everything, if they did, do, the world will be a worse place in my view. One day their journey will end with the fightback from smaller businesses.

This has to happen to maintain individuality. In the same way you have wars to cleanse ethnic groups so to become on big country, i.e Russia etc, this is no different. This is business cleanse on a mammoth scale. The fear is stagnating means businesses need to evolve at attack everything. Competition, yes, healthy, no, not really.

JE has a story. the CEO leaving may be nothing but the truth.

The question will be can they continue to grow their existing model in the food space. For me, maybe not or if it does it will be at a slower rate.

Time to expand.
