Posted at 01/12/2019 15:14 by mac15 There was good shorting opportunity after the initial bid when takeaway.com shares collapsed in price. Neither side look like pulling out. Current bids are too low so next week or so will sort out who really wants JE. |
Posted at 31/7/2019 12:16 by pleasing please forgive me if i misunderstood but if each JE share is being exchanged for 0.09744 shares of AMS:TKWY which is currently trading at ~€80 that implies a value of roughly 714p based on current exchange rates. No doubt I'm missing something, but what is it? |

It's ok a large company pays less tax, undercut it's rivals, destroys businesses through competition, destroy high street, sure. But then they want to but Deliveroo. What difference does that make. Honestly. They stop two supermarkets merging to protect themselves while the wolves circle. If Amazon but Morrisons, that's ok. What's a bunch of idiots. Protect individual brands. JE is peanuts. They'll not buy a share they may just buy JE ..... |

I do agree competition can be bad if you don't have a moat and the other guy has a pile of cash. A lot of people in JE just want a buy out and a nice £10 a share. |

They will get purchased by Uber I'm sure and Deliveroo which is a different market will eventually be purchased by Amazon.The founder has a vision, once he's got there he will see to Amazon. |

I think this move will hurt JE more than i initially thought.Everytime Delieroo is menitoned, and it is mentioned a lot over the news in the last 24 hours theyre also mentioning the dark kitchens. Its massive positive news for delieroo and a kick on the balls for JE. Can see this at 500 in the next week or too now |

Here's what people are saying.I don't think it's the end of the world though. Deliveroo needs to invest more and more. Just shows how far JE is. Amazon closed its venture. JE won't go bust, they will certisin be a TO target . With Amazon investing in Deliveroo it either means Deliveroo with the extra cash will buy JE , doubt it, or Uber, knowing what Amazon are doing, will buy up JE. Whatever the share price fall, it's OK, it's a buy when it's bottomed out for TO activity. |
