I'm surprised Festario, I had assumed your holding would be much bigger than that by now, in view of all the gains you've made!

Most probably many of the sites are Lease Hold, often in poorer areas so it seems to me will be difficult to sell. And why would GVC wish to spend their valuable management time on doing so?

GVC have already mentioned they do not wish to buy William Hill because of their brinks and mortar estate.

It seems to me a company such as 888 would be a better fit for GVC.

Or ageing people discussing ageing bands for that matter... ;-)

What is certain is that when/if GVC gets to be the "largest online sportsbook in the world" we will all be older... and some of us a lot older than others even 'tho we may be young at heart!

How did we drift from discussing the merits of GVC to aging bands?

Thanks for that TEB. I liked the final quote:

"Where does he see the company in five years’ time?

He answers with one sentence: “I think the company will be the largest online sportsbook in the world.”

Is GVC’s performance going to match that prediction? We can’t wait to find out."

700p by close of business on Friday. There is certainly more in this yet.I think we'll be around 735p by the next results / dividend announcement. That will give us a real springboard for the assault on 800p
