23/2/2017 09:55 | Netplay (late night casino gaming TV programme maker) taken out last week, also by never-heard-of-befor . . . Had a v small toe in the water holding there, so barely made a profit on the takeover. Bottom feeders, all part of the consolidation in gaming industry while it's hot to do so. | velod
23/2/2017 09:27 | Broadcaster buys greyhound stadia from William Hill - I didn´t know Hill´s owned such things and another reason why GVC wouldn´t wish to buy Hill´s. It seems to me that GVC would only be interested in no more than 20% of Hill´s. What may happen is another party buys Hill´s and sells the on-line part on to GVC. | loganair
23/2/2017 09:16 | 32 Red taken over by Kindred Group. Ashamed that I have not heard of them before. -------------------- "Kindred is one of the world's largest online gaming and sports betting companies with over 15 million customers across 100 markets. Kindred's core B2C offerings are in Europe and Australia, with customers in most global markets. The acquisitions of the Stan James online business and iGame in 2015 have made Kindred one of Europe's leading online gambling providers. " | trentendboy
23/2/2017 09:13 | 32 RED being taken out - nice premium for the shareholders Consolidation continues. | trentendboy
23/2/2017 08:57 | Thanks for the clarification, mylands. Just snagged some more at 677p. | woodhawk
23/2/2017 08:40 | Woodhawk I was simply looking back at the previous Prelim statement in 2015 when they announced a final dividend, payable in May. The 2016 Prelim was during the div holiday post the BWIN takeover. So March 23rd will be when we know what this year's final div will be. | mylands
22/2/2017 21:43 | I agree that it's very likely - but the way he put it, I thought he'd seen something definite which I had missed. | woodhawk
22/2/2017 21:28 | Woodhawk, I agree with Mylands because if the annual results are announced on 23rd March, then a dividend 'should', (I emphasise 'should' because nothing is ever guaranteed) ... accompany it.In that instance, it's usually about 6 weeks until it becomes payable. | festario
22/2/2017 19:41 | To paraphrase then - if it doesn't go low, it won't go even lower? Doh. I'm much more interested in Mylands claim earlier that another divi is payable in May?!?!? | woodhawk
22/2/2017 19:36 | I counted at least two posters who ruminated that should the share price fall awhile further to 650p then they were ready to buy. (Well at least two but notice today one poster has removed the 650p from their post but left the rest intact). . . . So what are the chances, the odds of it revisiting 650p? In the short term INMO? Zero! Unless it can first crack through 678p decisively. . . . No 678pee - Then no 650pee. That simple INMO. . . . It hasn’t been closing in the low 680p’s by sheer accident for the past few days - it’s reflecting the strength of the 678p support floor (a double whammy support as it’s the upper share price of the gap-up that occurred from the closing on the 6th Feb @ 673p-ish to the opening the following morning, 7th Feb, at 678p-ish). . . . There is no argument that the share price for the moment is in (temporary) bearish mode. That’s agreed in general I think. . . . So if it closes red tomorrow at 682p? . . . - Still no chance of revisiting 650p. . . . 681p? . . . - Again, no chance of revisiting 650p . . . 680p/679p or 678p??? . . . - Same opinion. It’s just the support area doing its job. . . . BUT, but what if it closes at 677p or even just a little lower than that? . . . - Ah well then those who are looking for 650p then it’s game on. But I suspect should it close below 678p it’ll whoosh quite dramatically down a worm hole and come out the other end at 673p pronto, for the following reasons: . . . It’s another support level but more than that it’s that double whammy, it’s the other half of The Gap Up! Strange how the natural support levels of 678p and 673p also coincidentally are the two gap up points between the 6th and 7th of Feb. If ever there was a time for the idiom the-gap-must-be-fill . . . Investors went to bed on the night of 6th February @ 673p maybe thinking I’ll top up at that price in the morning first thing. When they awoke there was no chance of topping up in that vicinity as the MM’s had gapped the share price up to open 5p higher at 678p. There is a complete void between that day's close of 673p-ish and the next day opening up at 678p. . . . I’m of the opinion if it can’t break 678p then it’s more likely this fall, down from oversold, is now petering out. So, to sum up: No 678pee - Then no 650pee. | velod
22/2/2017 18:47 | Did I miss something? How do you know the next divi will be "payable in May", Mylands? | woodhawk
22/2/2017 18:46 | Not so Mylands, I know it will be fine but.... I reinvested at 700p, therefore my holding has fallen by £12k in total, which is more than my dividend was!If I'd waited, I'd have got a better deal. However, I expect 750p to 800p following the annual results. | festario
22/2/2017 18:26 | Festario Don't get too depressed, you have all that lovely dosh from the div to cheer you up! With the Prelim announcement about four weeks away we will get news of the next div, payable in May. We will then be well and truly back on the dividend gravy train. Who knows, our CEO may spring us a nice surprise by paying a special div before the interim div paid in late October. | mylands
22/2/2017 16:29 | Depressingly repetitive pattern. | festario
22/2/2017 16:21 | It's so I can keep topping up at 778p! | woodhawk
22/2/2017 16:17 | Did you see the usual mid afternoon spike down, followed by slow recovery? To finish close to level again no doubt. No idea what it means or why it happens. | festario
21/2/2017 21:48 | Nice pick up £600. Not too sure what will happen tomorrow. I think it may continue its downward trend for a short time yet. We will see | 666james
21/2/2017 15:58 | Festario, I made a lot - and then lost a significant amount more - on AIM about 15/20 years ago (more than £100K) - I'd steer well clear if I were you. I've done infinitely better on the main market... and you sleep better at night too!! | woodhawk
21/2/2017 14:37 | Festario,Anything to do with Chinese AIM.Stay away,you will get your fingers burnt.I lost £8,000 in NBU. | garycook

21/2/2017 14:34 | Festario, I have never heard of them either. I have been burnt before with AIM so I would not be doing anything. Best of luck if you decide to get some. | 666james
21/2/2017 13:53 | Nope, always afraid of a BB saying it's going to 10 bag. Generally a pump and dump situation trying to be engineered. With a tiny penny stock like that I'm always concerned about the volatility. GVC was the first AIM share I ever bought, and only because it was making a profit and had decent cash flow alongside the divi. | diviincomesearch
21/2/2017 13:47 | Does anyone know much about PCGE , involved in Chinese lotteries and gambling. It's up 44% today, and according to the BB it is going to 10 bag.Never heard of it myself? | festario |
