The YouTube videos WERE indeed entertaining, and the guy in the video, (Canadian or American) must be kicking himself that he didn't do his due diligence on the terms of his deal before signing. He's reduced to trolling now, and that's going to get him nowhere.I would advise him to buy some shares in this 'ruthless predator' of a company, and recoup his losses that way.

Thanks Brownie for the insight!

The YouTube videos were quite entertaining though.

Jaburns is obviously an affiliate who has had his deal terminated.
Happens all the time, many good reasons for it. Usually when affiliates try to "steal" traffic that is trying to get to a GVC brand anyway. Or break other terms.
Another reason is when an affiliate does not accept new terms by way of example.
This could be positive for GVC holders as the net effect could be a reduction in marketing costs.
They would go the legal route if they really thought they had a case, not post here making unsubstantiated claims.

Jaburns, you sign up to ADVFN today - and your first post - your very first - is to use the words "have been stolen" and directly accuse GVC of theft?!?
. . . You're not Slippy with a new ID are you?

. . . It was reported this month that Foxy have merely hired a new online promoter (ActiveWinMedia) to promote the Foxy brand. Who are you, one of those who lost the old contract?

. . . PS: And you posted at 3:45am - What, you couldn't sleep, just couldn't wait until a more convenient time to accuse GVC of theft? Or are you posting from abroad?

After acquiring foxy bingo and foxy casino, GVC Holdings voided the contracts of hundreds of webmasters promoting those two brands. Thousands of players, commissions and earnings have been stolen.

Some of the bigger advertisers are thinking of taking legal actions.

Think the only way WMH will survive is to take somebody over as i can't see them being that attractive to any of the online companies.
Oh how they must rue not going all the way with the 888 bid which i think is their best fit !!!

Net Debt heavily increasing for WMH. Trust GVC steer clear really.

Long term X rates shouldn't make too much difference.
80% of profits made by the FTse 100 companies are outside the UK.

Even if France got Le Pen and left the EU and went back to the franc it will all even itself out. If that did happen i wouldn't think the euro would survive anyway.

These companies will have plans in place to take on board the xrates of various currencies and yes there will be ups & downs in profit but nothing to have a serious impact on divi's.

Noujay, that's a possibility, and one which our Directors (and newly appointed FD) will be well aware of. I'm sure they and many other companies will be planning what to do in that eventuality.Personally I feel that if it happens, the reduced number of pounds I get from the exchange from euros, will buy me a hell of a lot more when I change them back and spend them in France and Spain. So the effect should be neutral for me personally, but your point is well made.

Velod, for what its worth, sold 16th Feb at 6.94 (after seemed to struggle to break 700), noting I had bought some extra at 6.70 on 26th Oct (which did not feel like great timing at one point with price falling and SSW daily rants), but a 6.94 sale with a 12.5p div felt ok. Cool-hand-luke sold at 7.50 and bought back in at 6.00 ;)

Didn't know that Mylands, thanks.

. . . Is that Swedish company still a small cap?

. . . Not sure I did the kroner conversion right when I posted (got confused) but it looked a small outfit to me.

Here's hoping you get a good price when topping-up mnomis. Patience as always will be the key.

. . . This was a really, really, very mild overbought situation. Barely worth a mention. The share price lazily, as if it couldn't be bothered, just barely qualified as overbought in the day/s where you sold your 1/3rd of holding.(Good timing on your behalf by the way).

. . . If the share price was an athlete launching over the high jump the athlete's loose vest would have rattled and wobbled the top bar it was that close to barely clearing over RSi70

. . . - So I'm not expecting the acorn to fall far from the tree, and in this instance won't be at all surprised if these low 680p's are the floor. Might/might not as you say; who knows?

. . . On the way up, it skipped over two resistance levels in one day so not surprising it was on course for eventually triggering overbought signals - but couldn't have guessed how meek and mild an overbought point it finally decided upon to halt for a breather. In times past GVC had a penchant for enthusiastically going mountain high overbought before calling it a day.

. . . 695p? Hmm interesting, you must have top-sliced on the very first or second day of it signalling overbought? (13th Feb?) Itchy trigger finger? :)

. . . - or did you Cool-Hand-Luke it, and delay until it ever so gently turned and out of overbought, and sold on the 16th or 17th Feb?

Hey Velod, I was one of the posters with the 650 (used mid-) comment. I would never post that something is impossible when it comes to the market, as the market will do what it wants in the short term. I sold 1/3rd of my holding @ ~695p, so if it drops, I will pick up more (and planning on more than just the 1/3rd sold). If it keeps on going higher, I am also happy. Time will tell. I sold a portion because the shoot up to 700p was very rapid, and technicals suggested a fall. I am certainly long-term bullish, but do see 659p being more likely than 700p in the short-term (but who knows).

Interesting 20 days till the Preliminary results, I suspect we may slowly move up to that day OR if the shorters want to be toast they will risk taking down.
