The 2013 production start time and now ,of course, the latter!

And why does the share price keep tanking? Is it because we will still be years from tantalum mining or because of the civil unrest?

GIP--Action at last?

Looks as if Gandel is polishing his shovel ready to start-
slap bang in the middle of a civil war !
Typical GIP.

But one thing comes to mind ,where's the money to finance this mini venture?

Thanks VanB, it tickled me too.

Anyone care to speculate when this IPO to split off some of the assets might happen? Or is it going to drag on like the financing?

GIP announcements apparently come through at high tide
also I took some MIT precaution in case of a tsunami...

Van B -
Be careful that the paint fumes do not overwhelm your senses and be slumbering [out of stock] when the long awaited ''off take '' arrives !

"Watching paint dry would be considered an extreme sport in comparison to the progress being made by this bunch!"
I hope you don't have a copyright on this phrase Joan, I like it very much

As for the gamble, bought early December at 0.041 and sold Monday 0.061
So, on the bashing side right now.
Honestly, at last this company gets on the move again.
It will take some time, most probably I get in again in the February doldrums

GIP-I agree Mark ,at least the tone is more positive .

[Incidentally ,glad to see the stalwart 'Gippers' are still hanging on in there]

Yes, Joan ,it's a frustrating old game watching this saga playing itself out!

yep I don't think they have hit a deadline in the last 3 years ... that's why I'm keeping an eye on the latest deadlines, to see if anything has really changed or its just more of the same rubbish

The one thing that I do find encouraging is the level of detail ... but we will see

Watching paint dry would be considered an extreme sport in comparison to the progress being made by this bunch! What do they do all day - it really is question of being paid for doing sweet FA. I shall have to check out what jobs they are advertising on their website, it has got to be a dream ticket.

shadowchaser ... I guess let see if they hit the Jan and 1st quarter deadlines mentioned and go from there

Its the first time in a very long time that we have had such a specific update with firm deadlines instead of language like in the "near future" and "finance in progress", etc, etc

GIP, Progress ?
We need a little more than re-arranging the office furniture, dusting the skirting boards and sweeping up following Fumbling Jack's departure to count as progress ,methinks?

Gip---Looks like the latest false start rally is running out of steam on the German exchange .

Back to the usual slide and shuffle as no apparant progress possible by the Aussie 'rock kickers'

And...dilution coming from the hiving off of the non-ABU assets which will no doubt affect GIP's s/p,despite Gandel's recent statement .....

I won't be putting any more cash in their hands unless I see evidence of ACTION ...too many false dawns, too much procrastination,

GIP -If i'm reading this right ,this morning on the German market, apparantly , there is a 33% difference betwen the buy and sell price for this stock !

The degree of manipulation [or whatever !] going on around this Co. never ceases to astonish .....
