GIP- Well clearance of general rubble and tin bearing gravel has apparantly actually started ---

After so many delays and much procrastination
one can hardly believe it .

Will Gandel turn out to be a Hero after all?

yes, it was predictable. they did say last year they needed to raise more money to carry out exploration.

strangely enough the share price was supported at 2 c by a 9million buy request. this has since disappeared now the placement is in place..........and bizarly enough the share price has gone up on the news!!

It won't be mothballed for three years. we will gain some revenue this year from this bit of tin mining. in theory this will help prove the case to the financiers........though how it will make much of a difference i do not know.

i just can't be bothered with RI who whine on about management when they are doing their best under trying circumstances. gandel has put plenty of money into gip and is clearly wanting a decent return on his money. events in egypt are hardly under his control

Has anyone here noticed that there is a revolution in process in Egypt. How do you raise $200millon plus from banks to invest into such a cauldron. I sometimes wonder at the naivety of retail investors. Please someone, tell me, how would you finance this project under these conditions?

It's absolutely pathetic isn't it. Gandel has now taken the share price right back to where he came in and has achieved virtually sweet FA since he took over, except that is to leave a very bad taste in everybody's mouth thanks, IMHO, to his self-serving ways and lining his and his cronies' pockets.

Are you reading this Gandel, good on you cobber!

GIP-2012-
At the start of what should be the gradual development of the actual ABU site ,as a starter ,clearing the alluvial Tin deposits and later on ,getting to the main course, the Tantalum mountain ,instead, we observe a disasterous collapse in the share price .

We also note the main man blaming ''anonymous bloggers'' for this shambles !

What an Australian farce is being played out here!

LoL!

GIP- Anyone seen the Chairman's statement on Co. website ?

A long diatribe about 'anonymous bloggers ''holding back the market's appreciation of the wonderful progress made by the current management !
Creating un realistic expectations .......
Really???

What stuff and nonsense !---when after many, many years hardly a shovel-full of anything has actually been mined and furthermore shareholder capital depleted by 400% .

Alluvial Tin mining due to start at ABU in march next year --

-Well, we will just wait and see, Eh?

Enough to enable Mr.G to apply for a place on the Board of directors

[hence question 1 above]

Seems like the market is totally underwhelmed by this. This makes the chance of any cash from Heemskirk finding its way into GIP's coffers and thence into our pockets even more remote!

So what percentage of Stellar do we (rather, GIP) own?

joan of arc

GIP---Mark ,as I implied ,NO CASH !

Question 1---What is Mr.G going to do with the shares in Stellar?

Question 2---Is he really intending to develop the ABU tantalum mountain at all?

GIP have sold their 40% interest in Heemskirk in return for 43.5m new shares in Stellar (asx:SRZ). At current SRZ price of 9.6c this equates to A$4.178m.

Mark ,Yes in an ideal world, our interests as shareholders ,and long termers at that, would coincide with that of the directors and they should act in our mutual best interests .
Ask yourself, just how long have we been awaitng the development of the ABU mine ?....way before this political turmoil was even drempt of...

We have seen dilution of our holdings and watched the MD obtain a massive personal share holding at 1Ac p.s.
What looked like a undervalued strip of part of the GIP asset base was thwarted but may have reared it's head with this latest proposal

I suspect this deal will be a lot more convoluted than simply an asset disposal to fund kick starting the ABU mining and will not therefore be for our benefit!

Let's wait and see ...
