29/1/2007 10:28 | I've sold my position this morning - 40k in total. Disappointed in the results and no "positive vibe" for 2007 to compensate. In the absence of news I'd expect these to drift now and will keep on monitor - perhaps to buy in again. Hope it proves me wrong for holders but think it prudent for me to bank my profit here. Best of Luck.... | unionhall

05/12/2006 09:11 | Nice to know the what the contract is so here is the announcement. Gatekeeper Systems wins breakthrough contract in transport sector Gatekeeper Systems Inc., ('the Company' or 'Gatekeeper') the leading global provider of intelligent shopping cart solutions, announces that it has received a contract for up to Euros 500,000 from Expresso Deutschland GmbH ('Expresso'), one of the world's largest premium baggage trolley manufacturers and a key commercial partner of the Company. The contract is for the supply of the Gatekeeper GS2 wheel locking system which will be installed in approximately 2,500 shopping trolleys to be manufactured and supplied by Expresso to all main railway stations in Italy operated by a local Italian service provider. This deal represents a significant breakthrough by Gatekeeper in a major new sector. Expresso selected the GS2 system after comparing its effectiveness and cost advantages over other technologies. GS2, developed and patented by Gatekeeper, deters theft, removal or misuse of shopping trolleys beyond an electronically controlled perimeter, and is used by many of the world's leading retailers. The trolleys will be supplied over the next 12 months and will be provided to rail travellers at eight main stations in Italy, namely Rome, Florence, Palermo, Venice, Naples, Verona, Milano and Torino. Although baggage trolleys are already available at these stations at present, the GS2-equipped trolleys will substantially improve their movement and use within designated areas. Marc Vuegen of Expresso said: 'Gatekeeper's solutions are field proven and are the ideal solution for our customers' requirements to better control the use of trolleys. This contract is a showcase for the rail sector and could also be highly beneficial for other transport hubs such as airports.' Michael Lawler, chief executive of Gatekeeper, said: 'We are delighted to partner with Expresso in providing a highly effective trolley management solution for rail industry. Gatekeeper's systems are already setting the benchmark in the retailing sector and this contract demonstrates how our technology is being leveraged to meet the needs for other sectors such as the transport industry.' | masurenguy

22/11/2006 10:56 | I would second the tag of "boring", it is a very boring share. However, it is "boring" with interludes of being "very exciting" as can be seen on the graph. As I have posted this type of profile provides opportunities for investors. However, certainly not a regular mover, so it doesn't sound like it is a share in line with your investor profile Kidney. If you can bear the boredom I would still suggest waiting for the new year trading update. | scburbs
22/11/2006 10:51 | I like to see share price movement every day! This share is'nt volatile and is probably more comfortable to hold than others. If you look at the price graph from the beginning of the year 2006 the share price has risen well.If you look at it from my perspective the share price is less than when I bought it and just above IPO level from two years back.Maybe "boring" is the wrong adjective....will "sluggish" do instead? LOL to all of us | kidney
21/11/2006 19:27 | As I've mentioned before, these shares are for longer term investment rather than short term trading. Nevertheless they are still up by 55% since the begining of this year so I hardly think that they could justify the label 'boring'. | masurenguy
21/11/2006 19:15 | kidney I think there's been a bit more interest in RFID in the last week (RCG, CAR). Just get the impression that another good trading statement in January could really change things round for this share. The other thing (if you look back to previous accounts), is that they said they'd be coming out with new products towards the end of 2006. Now that may have slipped a bit but we might get some news here by January. | arthurly
21/11/2006 15:55 | I was a bit miserable to see the recent buying stop today for no apparent reason. Those who have managed to trade this have found it a more exciting share than I have....and well done! My problem is that I like much heavier volume and more excitement in owning shares. You are right, the share price has moved up well since the beginning of 2006.I was too premature when I first bought and too scared to add more on seeing the market reaction in GKR's first year of trading. Can the share price be sustained till January if there is'nt an rns?I am dubious. Thanks for your support, scburbs. | kidney |
