30/12/2015 16:13 | Was tempted here but concerned there are what appear genuine reviews of Horizons on Steam that are very negative. Summary is bugs + price + great deal of width (galaxies) but less than ideal depth (fun). The reviews (all I have to go on) don't give confidence in the flagship product and the % of readers that find the negative reviews useful is high - putting off new buyers. What's the truth? Any players reading this please chip in. | p1nkfish
27/12/2015 13:52 | Possible trading statement soon and interesting where reality sits vs projections around this time last year. | p1nkfish

08/9/2015 08:12 | Numbers and tone from the company all looking very good this morning and FDEV taking on the guise of a very much derisked growth play. Speaking with Mr Braben later this morning, so if anyone else is still holding, I will post something later. | hastings
25/6/2015 08:51 | Valuation a little rich for me. Revs £22m. P £1.25m. MCap £70m Some postives that could make that valuation look cheap: Planet Coaster could be a great title - depending on competition in the rollercoaster sim genre. Also Elite Dangerous release on XB one - likely wont compete with the monster triple A releases but should appeal to original fans that dont have PC gaming hardware. Still watching with interest. | phowdo
25/6/2015 08:29 | Well, reduced revolving credit facility to 1M£, paid off the Camadians, 10.5M£ cash, sold 640K Elite to the end of May 20125, cross platform releases etc etc. Wonder how it's doing in Japan/Korea? Reads well. Just needs more exposure to gain attention. | p1nkfish
09/1/2015 08:32 | Will be interesting to see how sales hold up. Its a fairly hardcore game so Im guessing most fans will have been in on day one. May well get a sustained shelf life at reduced price. The reports of bugs is a bit disappointing but a consequence of rushing it for the holiday market which may impact word of mouth. Still need to demonstrate they can defy the curse of listed game developers/publisher | phowdo

22/12/2014 11:18 | "It's odd to think that eighteen months ago Elite Dangerous was largely viewed with suspicion. After years of fruitless speculation regarding a potential fourth Elite game, Frontier's £1.5 million Kickstarter appeared to bank on little more than nostalgia, leaving many people, myself included, more than a little sceptical of Frontier's ability to produce such an ambitious game. This past year, Frontier have proved both the validity of their funding drive and their commitment to the project. They've hit every release deadline they've set themselves, and delivered on (almost) every pledge made in that original Kickstarter proposal. In the space of twelve months I've watched the game grow from a simple combat demo through to an explorable galaxy featuring 100 billion star systems. The development of Elite Dangerous has been a remarkable process to witness. Ultimately though, everything comes down to one question; is the resulting game any good? The short answer is yes. The slightly longer answer is oh bloody hell it's brilliant. " --- a few niggles but overall 94% review:- "Elite Dangerous is stunning. At the absolute least it's the best-feeling game I've play this year, one which is engaging in almost every moment. But to me it's far more than that. It's made me think about space in completely new ways. " | dasv

29/11/2014 13:48 | To clarify, a single player game is still part of the package, the only thing changed is the need to have an online connection during single play. In my opinion not a huge omission and very common in games nowadays | james_jones
18/11/2014 17:19 | Yep BBC running the story. It's not a great move considering all the kickstarter money was raised on the premise of a single player game being part of package. | stegrego |
