I agree and we'll see if we get an RNS but given the number of PIs attending and some are traveling far and wide (I live in London so easy for me) if it's a damp squib I'm sure Zaza will be in for some stick. I'm not sure confirming the testing is going well needs to be RNS'd as they said it would be taking place now (flow rates another matter) and maybe the pipeline too as the expectation from previous RNSs is it should be progressing. Not long to wait either way.

I'll ask the congress question for sure. I'd like detail on where we are with ud-2, which zones have been tested, likely flow rates, timeframe re pipeline hook up. Will they book reserves if gas is flowing. Also what's happened with moving to production as the feasibility RNS came out in April.Zaza is aligned with shareholders though and I'm sure Mr Hope and Outrider will be making sure the assets are monetised so they can get their money.

Tickboo why does there need to be an update before the AGM?

I can't imagine very much has changed since the 121 conference. Much more likely we just get more of the same stuff about how a 500K work over can unlock 5.8TCF. It's laughable.

Hopefully someone at the AGM asks about the Congress question. I expect Zaza has a well prepared answer along the lines of "we have friends in high places"

Don't encourage him to repeat what's he's said again and again. Am surprised there hasn't been an RNS this morning and hope he doesn't leave it to 1pm tomorrow. I doubt he'd come over here for the AGM without a decent update. He could do but it wouldn't go down well so I'm expecting an intraday RNS today or tomorrow. Confirmation that ud-2 testing is going well and should be completed in a couple of weeks would be good and to reiterate we are able to plug into the existing infrastructure and sell by year's end amazing and alleviate some fears. Maybe the statement from the senators was to make sure no obstructions were put in place as Nicandros has suggested a few years ago. We'll see but if the above is confirmed and the oil play still progressing I wouldn't wanna be short.

Bufala I think what you are saying is that Zaza won't release good news on UD2 until the license is extended into the production phase?

That's totally nuts though. The Georgian MoE know exactly what's going on at UD2. How can FRR hide it from them? They are effectively partners on it 50/50 with FRR paying all the costs. If progress was withheld they'd probably be in breach of the PSA. At the very least I expect they'd have people on site.

The fact is that UD2 is just a red herring. It's a last ditch attempt to raise money into FRR and to try to keep the Block 12 license going. Block 12 has been incredibly lucrative for FRR they've raised over $400M and produced no more than a few bbls of oil.

This time it's different obviously ;-)

Until the commercial licence will be released (if it ever, as the wait started in April 2017)
*What is in Zaza left pocket? The Yorkville conversion note waiting to be RNSed.

What is the risk here? If we're are waiting for the news in the right pocket to be released, well the left pocket might get full.

There are clearly issues, Congressman aren’t brought in -to make public statements like that - if there isn’t some sort of (big) problem. That’s clear

What is rather less clear is why it hasn’t been disclosed to the market.
