21/8/2016 17:26 | I don't know if this is a scam or not but posts 69-75 on this thread are well worth reading before anybody parts with cash. It just reminds me of the dodgy Yorkshire scam with bonds in south america that ended up being fake. | glennborthwick
21/8/2016 15:54 | mclellan IT "had been suffering from depression during the months leading up to her death after losing a significant amount of money from share trading. ... had been losing concentration ... had reached a 'disastrous financial situation' in August 2014, which included 'significant debts' on credit cards, and they had entered a voluntary agreement as well as placing their house on the market to try and rectify the problem. ... Mrs. Stewart was under a great deal of pressure relating to the loss of the money. She hadn’t been sleeping very well" The hateful creature's life was ended as it had been run, destroying the happiness of others. Her lawyer and investment adviser, one "Loverat". | hh power

21/8/2016 13:33 | Hi Exbroker Do you know the answer to any of these questions? Thanks if so... Is this THE Eboracum website or another? Is the assumed Eboracum website a rip off of AMG's or are they associated with AMG? If not why don't eboracum have a website? If it is why do they claim opening times, years of experience etc but their address is an accountants in London, when selling in the North, and most of the website and email is broken? Is the EUR 2m order irrevocable? Over what timescale is it? | wolstencroft
21/8/2016 12:59 | Eboracum are connected with the Manchester building trade that’s where the marble is going. They have financial backing and paid a deposit up front. I have seen the quarries in both Macedonia and Kosovo and felt safer there than I do in some parts of London. The pictures of the factory give no idea of its size or of the equipment that is now being installed. I agree its hard sales and product leaving the company that counts, the factory will increase margins and open up the local market, the contract with Marble Dino is important as they are all over Kosovo and Macedonia and part of a bigger construction group. | exbroker
20/8/2016 23:42 | Alpha Marble are on google maps street view. They have some sort of railing system made from guiders to move the slabs off the trucks into their workshop. | stampylong trader
20/8/2016 20:03 | This is a real dog. | topvest
20/8/2016 11:57 | BTW my name was illegally used once as a director for a company and the first I knew was a demand for tens of thousands of unpaid debts. It took ages for Companies to accept that config m limited has impersonated me and in doing so perpetrated fraud. The website might be someone unconnected with Eboracum. We just don't know. | wolstencroft
20/8/2016 11:54 | I didn't. I contacted them as a customer to see if they were genuine. They're open until 4 I think if you want to call them... I had a look at this thinking of investing. I've told the broker and will now leave it with them | wolstencroft
20/8/2016 09:59 | Wols, Re 1223,totally agree, there could be a connection. Did you ask them if Eboracum is a connected company, and do they know they are using a clone of their website? | andy
20/8/2016 09:57 | BTW I've been in contact with Alpha Marble and they certainly seem to be a bona fide company. They say they have a showroom and I'm welcome to visit. | wolstencroft
20/8/2016 07:59 | I've written to Tom and the Brokers. One must remember it might all be a big misunderstanding until the other side have had a fair say | wolstencroft
20/8/2016 07:51 | One last thing Eboracum is not in the yellow pages, or at least I could not find them, alpha is I've emailed alpha and will call them later if I can, to see if there is any association. | wolstencroft
20/8/2016 07:20 | Don't expect any apologies from TW. All his long tips are awful. That's why these days he sticks to calling companies down and taking the credit when they inevitably do at some point. | loverat
20/8/2016 06:49 | Back to Tom Winni - what an awful tip!! No doubt he will be pleased to apologise to his followers! Well done Wolstencroft - excellent detective work. | philjeans
20/8/2016 00:42 | Harold, See my #1212 above! Somehow I guessed correctly which one was registered first! alphamarbleandgranit Registered On 2006-06-02 eboracum-marble.co.u Registered on: 23-Oct-2015 | andy
19/8/2016 23:57 | There is the claim about the site and three owners etc. Only one can be true. | wolstencroft
19/8/2016 23:55 | Yes I just googled some of the text | wolstencroft
19/8/2016 23:53 | Just worked out how to do it !copy" Our premises was originally established as a stonemasonry back in 1902 where its key business involved fabrication of headstones and bespo" then google it and see the results! Brilliant would never have thought of trying that. Amg have a 2016 date on the bottom of the website.eboricum have2015 on theirs though. Perhaps they both purchased the website from the same company and amg just did a better job of populating the site.. Did amg have a website prior to 2016 ? | haroldthegreat
19/8/2016 23:33 | wolstencroft you missed a difference between the 2 websites.the original has testimonials. Shame eboricum didn't add any !how did you manage to find the original? Brilliant find.the turnover so far is less that the average corner shop.the difference is the shop has more net profit and less management costs.as I said before the RNs was released this morning they are running out of excuses for missing targets. RNs shows they are building up stocks of cut marble with few sales. Anyone want a job lot of unpolished marble ? | haroldthegreat
19/8/2016 21:17 | I've emailed their brokers. IMHO the company should be very careful about RNSing an order representing circa half the order book from a company that seemingly has copied someone else's website. No doubt all will be clarified soon. I'm sure it's all a big misunderstanding on my part! | wolstencroft
19/8/2016 20:47 | Great find woslencroft. I don't hold and never will but would be worried if I had bought. | glennborthwick

19/8/2016 19:30 | If you think it looks bad, have a look at: and One appears to be a rip-off of the other. | wolstencroft
19/8/2016 18:54 | This one still looks bad. AIM almost always never delivers on companies you invest in. Trading yes. But a company based in a province of Serbia recognised by little over half of the world was never going to make it. A gangster state full of gangsters who call the shots where companies like this are concerned. Good or bad intentions, this was always a big risk. | loverat |
