27/6/2016 15:27 | Brexit is bad news for this company | kaka47
13/6/2016 17:21 | juleshoddy, thanks. | gnnmartin
11/6/2016 11:20 | I've not really been watching FOX, having made up my mind not to put any more money in, but not to sell. Now I have looked again, and I find the trades remarkable. FOX placed 20m shares at 10p on June 1, and 22m shares change hands at 8p on 8 June. That's 10% of the share capital, and larger than any single holding. Presumably we should get an RNS soon. | gnnmartin
10/6/2016 21:09 | cyfran, Another kiss of death! | andy
10/6/2016 17:23 | IC gave it a buy today | cyfran101
10/6/2016 17:05 | Loverat, please post again, the market seems to appreciate your comments. I assume the jump in price is connected with today's RNS saying that 2 days ago Spreadex gained a 4% interest in FOX, but I struggle to see exactly what the connection is, since the Spreadex interest was gained two days before the share price jump. I hold and hope. | gnnmartin
09/6/2016 21:14 | Big style dumping going on stay away | kaka47
09/6/2016 13:38 | Czar, "You would think that digging this stuff up, cutting it and polishing it is a pretty simple business. " --- It is! It's the selling of the stuff that is proving very difficult! | andy
08/6/2016 18:48 | Yes I heard there was a big stock overhang from a fund, looks like it was cleared today. Perhaps now we can start the long haul back to 25p. You would think that digging this stuff up, cutting it and polishing it is a pretty simple business. There must be a massive demand, every decent hotel, club, bar, restaurant, house etc seems full of marble these days. Prefer to see it tick a touch before topping up. Any earnings forecasts for next year? | czar
08/6/2016 16:42 | Chris always returns calls. Big print today looks to be Majadie exiting after Adam Parker the fund manager retired a few months ago, not sure who the buyers of which there are 4 or 5 are. | exbroker
08/6/2016 15:07 | FWIW I emailed CG about Eboracum and also how big a part the UK figured in overall business plan. Bearing in mind he couldn't tell me anything new, what he did say led me to believe he thinks they will complete their order and, in spite of the sketchy information researchable, thinks there could be business to come from Renaker's housebuilding arm. He thinks the US and Far East are where growth will come from in the months ahead, no numbers, can't blame him for that. I've never contacted the co before but he was quick to respond, twice in 2 days, and that stands out from many CEO's who can't be bothered. | paleje
07/6/2016 10:14 | UJ, Good to hear from you and I hope you and Smarm are both well too. I echo your sentiments about management "not being good enough", and are seemingly unable to make any sales of note. They did say, in 2012, that they would be processing and polishing their own marble in their own factory in 2013 and now in 2016 C Gilbert is claiming to be "one year late", which is clearly either blatantly untrue, or he's very poor at maths! Not impressive either way! | andy
06/6/2016 13:39 | Hi Andy, Hi Smarm hope all well with you both. I did criticise the rumour about the Mafia and control of the market in September of 2014. I would not say I rubbished it. But I stressed that I do not believe it. That said the analyst is one of the best in London. The person that posted his comments is totally honest. I just disagree with the emphasis that has been given to an opinion. See my posts 434, 430, 411. My opinion over lack of sales is that the Management is not good enough, not engaged enough. The US agent was appallingly bad. A topic I raised at an AGM. I ain't buying yet. | uncle john
06/6/2016 11:37 | oily, It has never been rubbished to the best of my knowledge, please post a link to where it was successfully denied. It was by an analyst, but it wasn't in a pub! Why do you think they have achieved so little sales so far then? | andy
06/6/2016 10:12 | Gawd elp us! That 'cartel' story was rubbished ages ago, at listing or soon after. It came from one analyst in a pub after a presentaion. The next time FOX does Shares mag or Proactive half of the time should be by Eboracum. Then we will see if there is any substance to their plans. | oilyminer
03/6/2016 00:53 | Thanks Exbroker, you speak confidently and you may well have good reason but that is not enough to convince others if you can't say why. I actually think Eboracum is a bit of a red herring but I can see many are focusing on them and their unobvious experience and some are choosing to exit because of that. I just thought it might be sensible to hear how Chris views them and their value to the company, bearing in mind he has said he does not envisage the UK making up a big part of revenue. The real question though is where sales further afield will come from, particularly the US. The 'cartel' aspect could do with airing too, and margins which would be related. I'll ask. | paleje
02/6/2016 22:50 | Paleje the placees ask a lot of questions about a lot of details, one shareholder even went to see the operations in Kosovo and Macedonia. Eboracum have backing so don’t worry, they did pay a deposit up front. | exbroker
02/6/2016 17:38 | Has anyone actually asked Chris Gilbert about Eboracum and Scott Oldfield, what track record they have as distributors, what causes him to have confidence in their ability to provide sales? It seems they've introduced Renaker Build in Manchester to the company's products but that doesn't mean much. You'd think the recent placees might have asked such questions but half the time they don't. | paleje |
