I suppose it takes a little while to wind an agreement up legally. We could hope that any further news was delayed because they needed to clear this up first but i think thats just wishful thinking.

Yep agree Black, bit of a strange RNS as we already knew BVI were history why he couldn't of said this in the RNS on the 16th Jan, he is buying time i think!

I just can't see that they could withhold price sensitive information when carrying out a placing. It would be bad form if they then went bust and hadn't warned the buyers and it would be even worse if they then saw the share price rocket on news and had issued at a discount just before..
Right now what i see is

A placing at a year low price that was unnecessary at the time given the cash we still had.
A forecast of year highs that was wrong to get that placing price up and the placing sold
A large dilution of shareholder value for no explained reason.
A BOD who don't seem to want to invest in their own project
A large remuneration package for a director that has not yet delivered. In fact has taken the shareprice to an all time low, diluted holders and missed all his dates and targets.

I'm not too sure if the rules but surely the directors have better knowledge of transaction prospects and they don't have to tell placees?I think they can be inside still but not sure about this

I dont think there is any doubt that Spain and SA are worth much more than the Mk cap but whats in doubt at this stage is the management's ability to turn asset value into shareholder value.
I dont see if JT could sell shares to you in a placing why he couldn't buy shares himself in his own placing. I spoke to a company FD and he said the company would have had to reveal to buyers in a placing if there was price sensitive news in negotiation which makes sense, and once that was revealed they could then buy themselves as it would have to be a level playing field..

With so much potentially going on behind the scenes in sure he won't be allowed to buy anyI would hope when and if he's not inside that he would buyDating that he must've had a chance last year but maybe our prospects weren't as bright as they are now?Gogo zincSurely Spain on its own is worth more than the market cap here??!!

Agree Black that has always been my problem with this it made me laugh as he mentioned in one of his podcasts that he does own shares in this company but looking at the previous accounts it amasses to a whole 166,000 shares which is £332 at todays prices!

LOL!

Thanks Sam I appreciate your input but TBH They have said quite a few things that have not happened which you don't need me to list here...again :-) As you say if it takes a couple of weeks then they are done and the company is withholding share price sensitive information that should have been RNS'd
As you rightly said on the 10th we have been told and promised quite a bit would happen and all we have had is missed dates missed share price targets and a remunerations package for the guy doing the "missing"
Anyone who was here when the Moonlight jorc was established, the core samples taken and the offtake agreement signed..not to mention the government support and licences granted will view the last couple of months as a warning. You just cant ignore.
I just don't see how a guy can expect punters to stay invested or finance something he is not willing to put his own money in.

Black
In the last quarterlies the RNS stated that all the 600+ samples were done and we are awaiting the results, i spoke to JT and asked him what is the normal timeframe these results can take in which he said the norm is a couple of weeks. With that in mind i feel that we should be due these any day now so fingers crossed that when he wrote those quarterlies the samples had already gone so hopefully in the next week or so, unless they are holding onto the news to announce with the other news pending which will give the share price momentum?

IMHO

BlackssAll a question of whether the delay is due to major problems over the deal or just little snags due to finer solicitor details If it's the former we will drop to 0.15 and then we await how we are going to finance SpainIf it's the latter then we are 0.3 I saw this as a 75:25 but as time drags on this becomes more of a 50:50 Fingers crossed we get good news

I guess now the next milestone will be the half year report in the middle of March. From that we will be able to work out cash burn from negotiations in SA and the start of ground tests in Spain. I suspect the cash they have will not go far once they start proper work in Spain, remuneration/wages alone will eat up a lot of it. I have said before a key sign to me the company expects a continued drop in the share price is the lack of buying from any director. Call me a cynic but i still don't expect ML to even start to finance Spain and there are still rumours that they intend to buy more licences !!!
Very worrying times now especially as the bid goes sub .20p again. finger hovering over the sell button....

Agree Black totally JT at this moment is no different to all the other CEO's we have had, they have promised the world and delivered nothing! :-(

For all we know the "deal" with ML fell through. after all it was expected to bring year highs in the share price nearly 2 months ago and it still bothers me that all that has been said on the RNS is that they are keeping options open with BVI.
I suppose at least you and I (sam) have been here long enough to say we have seen it all before with this company so while disappointing its hardly a surprise. :-)

Well must say rather disappointed JT, thought the Indaba would have been the perfect platform to release news on our SA project!

Whats the next timeframe? we have had calendar year end, we have had Indaba, the legal excuse has lapsed as six weeks overdue and thats if it was started on Jan 1st!

You can always tell when news is around the corner as volume picks up and it certainly hasn't this week! Oh well time will tell!

I share your concern about volume v imminent news Sam. I think its important to remember that expectation brought about by speculation on BB's is not really reason to get too excited. The company's only indication of when any future direction on ML might be released was to say "in due course". Most of us have been pretty patient for many years and another 6 months will not kill us, I say 6 months because even if ML comes to nothing there is a second string to our bow now and Spain should start to develope over the Summer. Of course we may still get news before the end of the week or even on JT's return to his office. If i was going to release news i would want to be around to answer questions from any interested party and that may well be done better in person in the UK or spain than on the phone from SA.
I suppose what i am saying is, chin up chaps, there is life after Indaba :-)

Don't know if anyone saw the amazing decision by Philippines Govt to ban nearly all mining in the Phlippines, enacted 4 days ago, on environmental grounds ?!

Likely to have a major effect on global non-ferrous & precious metal prices, as Philippines are a major producer of Copper, Nickel, Zinc, Gold, Silver etc.

We've seen that reflected in the Zinc price recently, as now back to $2780 per tonne.

All further good news if you were thinking about developing a Zinc mine , in a more Trustworthy jurisdiction and Country, like Spain, for example ?!

IMHO, DYOR. GLA.
