I always laugh when people say buy low sell high :-) If only it was that easy.

Even people buying today may find Moonlight comes to nothing and they are sitting a big loss @ sub 0.1 for a few years in the hope that Toral comes good, much like we hoped Moonlight would 5 years ago :-) hindsight is a wonderful ability.
Many of us thought we were buying low at 3-4p after a drop from 18p...
JT has to deliver here now. He needs to show his forecast of share price highs was just delayed and not pie in the sky ramping prior to that placing. He needs to prove all this talk about not being able to disclose what is going on is true and not just avoiding the questions. He needs to convince he can actually deliver before the markets factor in the value of whats in the ground. A jorc is no good, we have that already for Moonlight in fact we have a super high grade but proving what's in the ground is a world apart from actually getting it out.

If only....After 7 years I have done the going long bit but i can't stay in this much longer, i simply need the cash and i need the cash at 1p not .25p
Average of about .8p so it will be a wasted 7 years for me i suspect, not getting any younger :-)times running out.

Met him several times - he's OK. I think he has sumthing up his sleeve - and hopefully more than a tissue !

As Pat says, buy low, sell high, its not rocket science, yet everyone seems to do it the other way round. Even better, buy low, stay long, don't sell. Suspect the real value is in Toral anyway.

To be honest it needs to be a significant event for FCR or the share price will sink and the next placing will be sub 0.2 and will be a massive dilution.

The thing is though if Justin had a partner lined up how would he have held a placing and not mentioned this ? surely it would be withholding financial significant news.

BlackSS: I agree with what you say regarding costs etc although I think the Zinc play will finish up as the jewel in the thorny crown. I must say Im convinced that Justin has got a partner lined up for Moonlight as far as future placings well I wouldnt rule them out but I think he needs to get some good news out to shift the price a bitfirst.

patviera. I agree with you Im also topping up not quite up to you yet but not far behind at the moment this I see as a buying opportunity.

Whats changed ?
Well quite a lot actually. As you point out you have to watch miners like a hawk and to be one step ahead so working out where the next finance is coming from is important. The missed end of year target for the share price is significant as was the end of year placing at a low point in the share price That money raised at a year low of 0.2 has not been used yet so why was it placed before any likly news from Moonlight ? The fact BVI have now reported they didn't start the BFS is a change also that's significant. Despite lots of mentions on the BB's the company has still not said anything about Moonlight other than they are still in talks with BVI which is not good.
It's a different style of investing but you like to buy in large quantities and hope for the best, many others will be looking to manage their investment and will be looking to get out before the next placing and back in after so to them things are changing all the time.
Remember no one in the history of FCR has ever made a penny by just holding as far as i know.

spec, the stand out point of the RHNS for me is this
"The Moonlight Deposit (upon which the Project is based) is a magnetite deposit located on the Moonlight, Gouda Fontein and Julietta farms and is the "main operational focus" for the Company"
I hope this is right and Moonlight will finance the side track off into Spain. I have always pointed out that Moonlight is repeatedly referred to as their "flagship project". I see Spain as something to do while Moonlight drags its heels. IMHO it would be crazy to take on the Iberian project when they can't even finance the BFS on their flagship and for that reason i think they must have a way of extracting money from Moonlight lined up.

Another placing is inevitable.Reading the update again the program for Spain coupled with costs will eat the £750k they had at the end of the last quarter. any deal involving SA will no doubt require cash and legal costs.The attempts to talk the Share Price up have failed so far so my worry would be the next placing will see this past 3b issued if its at the current share price or below.
I do wish you all luck but i wrote my cash off here ages ago.

I think the optimism is based on the recovery of ore prices. todays RNS shows money in the bank but i would like to know how far that will go. The forecast work in Iberia could be very costly and we may need money for a JV in SA ,I suppose the interims will help but that will be another 6 weeks.

This is my only AIM holding now. I'm in the unfortunate position of having a lot of money tied up in a few shares here having bought many years ago at a few pence each. Its good to see the optimism here but i am struggling to see the reason ?

Agree Toon, as Pat said the ones that bought in last couple of days were expecting big things today, but it will come and i think soon. We have Indaba next week and if JT has got anything to say prior to that then this week would be the ideal week to announce. Managed another 4 mill myself this morning thats me up to 40m, would like to get to 50 before news broke but i think we will hear something quite soon!

Questions need to be asked about that last placing at a year low for the SP, ok they raised £500k but at the time they had £500k in the bank and even now without that placing they would have £300k in the bank ?
If news was due on Moonlight wouldn't you wait for the news and the share price rise before you went ahead with a placing ?

The biggest problem with moonlight is the black empowerment groups BVI unless it immediately gets them a new Mercedes not really good partners, also unless Zuma et al have a big share for nowt again it's not really of interest.Never mind that locally they have a ready made workforce Anglo recently closed a mine but the corruption and unions will not be helpful I know this region in SA quite well but the ruling elite ain't helping anyone unless they get in first, hence my comment about I believe they have a new partner lined up already and why I believe the Zinc will be the big winner I bought 10mill a couple weeks ago may have another buy just now.

It's weaker cos punters bought millions yday in the hope of a deal in moonlight which didn't happen with the resultsBuy red sell blue rinse repeat Feels like a 20 to 25 trading range until news of a deal or no deal
