Apparently Mr & Mrs Slater are also long term investors in Elektron, with a Million quids worth of stock or so. So they, at least, r taking a long term view of FCR.

All we need now, is for the FCR BOD to follow their example !

Yes lets hope so - also bit concerned about the lack of volume as per most RNS's that get leaked or are inbound normally the MM's get wind of it and away we go prior to the actual announcement.

Agree the only reason i say tues or Wed is Thursday is pack up and go home day.
I would have expected any deal to have been done really and this meeting to be just a rubber stamp and a bit of publicity.

Could be anytime this week really Black, as Indaba lasts all week. Still, it's an African conference, so it wud b a good time to reveal a deal highly pertinent to the South African Iron Mining & Steel Industry, if there was one to reveal.

Lord knows, it's taken long enough for someone to try and do something with Moonlight. (like 6 years !).

Agree Black would be really disappointed if we don't hear anything all week, as that would be 7 weeks over the said deadline, can't really blame that on legals!

I would think if there was anything going to come out of Indaba we would hear tomorrow or Wed. Volume is disappointingly low and volume is usually an indicator of news to come. fingers crossed.

I do agree there is fresh life in this today despite smaller volumes. I think people are hoping for news next week from SA. Whether that's because the company has indicated news or just ramping on the LSE forum and Twitter we will have to see.

Not sure trades on the isdx are being hidden ? my trades always show up their because i tend to get a better price there. Given that advfn list both isdx and lse trades its not a very good hiding place :-)

Well, sumthing is going on today. 20m vol on AIM & another 30m on NEX , to try and hid the trades, by MM´s, who hav fried all the T20 peeps yesterday and stopped out all the CFD punters and are now letting it run. Last day of "Mates Rates" for the likes of Granny et al,today, I think, before the shutters come down and you have to pay the proper price nxt week. Methinks a few more TR1's will appwar as well as Mr & Mrs Slater (whoever THEY are ?). They certainly have more than the BOD of FCR !

Amazing how the MM´s can totally manipulate the whole market like this - it's a disgrace.

Indaba, next week could prove to be a VERY interesting time for FCR......? As they say - the market always knows, which is more than can be said for most punters.

Pat, No. Its a networking event for mining co Execs, media and buy and sell side investors for mainly African Mining Cos. A lot of deals get arranged and discussed there. Was going , but not now - other things to do. FCR hav peeps going though.

Strange trading patterns today. 18m delayed sale, and several other chunky sales, yet price hardly moves at all. Imagine that happening 1 year ago ! (Not).

I think Grannysnuff may be a MM (or a MM's mate), so share your distrust.
