31/10/2016 09:30 | Anyone any thoughts on the update? Cash balance looks ok for now. | laptop15
29/10/2016 14:29 | Good post Andrea, very interesting! Would work out perfectly for FCR :)) plus it gives a political incentive to the government and local area will welcome the idea too!Wonder when we will get news from the recent visits?Plus the big moon announcement, could make for a very happy Christmas to all us holders!Exciting times..... | laptop15
28/10/2016 11:12 | I note that Kumba's Iron Ore mine in Thabazimbi is definitely closing, with the loss of 800 jobs, as it reaches ore exhaustion, after 80 yrs production. "Mining Online" article from 26th July 2016 points out how near the old mine is to Moonlight licence area, and how Kumba want to find new jobs for their old workforce........... IMHO, DYOR, GLA. | andrea152
27/10/2016 10:28 | BVI/Ovation are out of their exclusivity period, so FCR are free to talk to anyone they choose. They have no further obligation to BVI and no money has been handed over. IMHO, DYOR. | andrea152
24/10/2016 11:52 | Yea sorry about the LSe posts but TBH the guys over their wind me up with their daft posts, which are basically all about misleading new investors. FCR will do well without their daily nonsense. I just hope the deal on Moonlight and the BFS is reversible and we didn't hand over anything in advance.I do worry that for all the good will from JT we still have very little concrete progress other than paying 360k for something we have yet to prove is even worth 360k. As pat said, you cant buy tenners for fivers. | blackss
24/10/2016 11:39 | Black I was going to respond over the LSE board about your question about Ovation owning or potentially owning some of Moonlight, i have spoken to JT about this in the past and they have not kept to the there side of the deal; as it was originally meant to have been completed by now and therefore they will get nothing, and to be honest yet another company that has not yet kept to the contractual agreement along with PMI and the muppets before them! So i wouldn't bank on them getting anything, which the update before end of calendar year i hope will clarify. They need some proper company involved not some back street loan shark! Hopefully not long to wait for an update! FS | firemansam4
21/10/2016 12:50 | I am still misreading it, it looks better :) | blackss
21/10/2016 12:33 | Oops my mistake got a bit over excited there....lol...9.5mi | laptop15
21/10/2016 12:11 | Agreed patviera, Let them trade and miss the big jump coming!!! | laptop15
21/10/2016 12:10 | NO laptop, they already had 100m from the Goldquest deal. They have bought another 9.5m, in the mkt, which is still good news, to take them up to 5.86%. Makes them the 2nd major Instit Investor in FCR, which is what JT said in his podcast yesterday. Hopefully more to follow IDC. IMHO, DYOR. | andrea152
21/10/2016 11:56 | JT has already said on many podcasts exciting news coming If you trust him, which I do, then u have to chill as a medium to long term holderYes his hopes maybe more than what happens eventuallyHowever I believe in him and believe we will have good news prior to XmasSo I'm not a seller sub 0.3 at leastLet the traders trade..I'm not selling down here | patviera
21/10/2016 11:53 | Yes Citybank, buying 100 million more....very interesting :)) another good sign that some of the big investors are moving in!!! | laptop15
21/10/2016 11:25 | Is that an increase of holding of 100m ? | blackss
21/10/2016 09:45 | Its a shame to see how the AIM has changed over the years from an investors long term high risk /high reward punt to a traders short term cash in. People now will buy and sell if they think they can get out with their money for a week and get back in again before an share price driving RNS. OK so you might miss the boat but you are probably making on the other punt you pulled your cash for. Yesterdays podcast while upbeat was seen by quite a few as news on Moonlight next and nearer Xmas so might as well sell up for 6 weeks and get your money working, it will probably just drift down here anyway and good news at xmas will see us back where we were anyway 6 months ago. Its a bit of a mugs game going long now on any AIM. the reason is of course....when i started this we had to go to the bank and order shares, we eventually got a cert and you needed that to trade them later. Now i can buy and sell withing 2-3mins. what was a market to encourage longer term investment in new ventures has become an on line betting shop where people expect to make their money during a single trading period. The upshot is companies like this never really reach their initial expectations for the SP, traders control the price daily, MM's serve them with close spreads and movements on very small volume (Look at this one, 10% down yesterday on a % volume to small to calculate) I don't know what the answer is but more and more i am finding the longer i hold the more i lose with AIM. This is not a moan about FCR or traders, just an observation and i wondered what you guys think ? | blackss
20/10/2016 16:55 | Agreed black, you were right whenever there is a podcast with a a company that has not had news in the last day or so it seems to get sold off....but the story remains intact and it certainly sounds like he has the right connections for getting am institutional investor in which is certainly half the battle, all he needs to do now is deliver the good news!! Also good news that no consolidation is planned. Think he is very confident which is a good sign, u can't fake that and I believe he believes he's onto a winner here! Loads of potential at such a cheap share price :))Bring on the RNS's!! | laptop15
20/10/2016 14:12 | I think what today has shown is he is not going to talk this up, we are waiting for positive progress now. | blackss
20/10/2016 13:30 | Cheers for sharing black :)) | laptop15
20/10/2016 12:32 | This is the link to todays interview with JT | blackss
20/10/2016 02:05 | Well thats my fear as i said but lets see what the analyst have to say. Bottom line is someone has to soak up half a billion of these or JT will need to do a 100:1 consolidation to give this a decent share price and future out of the fractional penny stocks. My fear with consolidations is once the share price goes up and the in issue goes down we will get a series of placings and end up back here where we started....which is basically what has happened to get the share price down here in the first place. JT talks about shareholder value, he must know he will need stability in the share price first and he will not get that with PI's | blackss
19/10/2016 22:25 | Institutions won't touch thisIt's too small | patviera
19/10/2016 20:59 | Cheers black, yes institutional investors would be fantastic to help support the funds needed for both major projects :))I guess the reason it's so cheap at present is the lack of funds and a bit of the unknown but when news comes out some of these issues Will be resolved and this could rise sharply based on asset size alone!! Plus sheer investors wanting to buy in.Good luck all and here's to an exciting few months :))) | laptop15
19/10/2016 18:45 | Welcome to the thread both of you :-) as you say laptop exciting times. If Sam is correct the visit by analysts should be complete now so the next week will confirm either interest or not by the Institutional investors and that i think now is the important next step. I think JT has hooked the interest of a lot of PI's who are either in or watching closely but now we need some institutional investment money to make a foundation for the share price to build on. Lets see how it goes. | blackss
19/10/2016 17:11 | Looks like u timed it well rusty.... exciting waiting on the news to come through here! Imo this will go over 0.50p by Christmas if the updates are as good as expected :))I got in at 0.23 last week! | laptop15
18/10/2016 13:07 | Back in at .24. Good luck all. Rusty | rusty9717 |
