Well that's a big worry out of the way. No more month-end deadlines for Toral.

FCR hav basically bought a potential £2bn Zinc/Lead/Silver asset for just £370,000. That's luks like a good deal. Merlin Marr Johnson is getting on with the Spanish work already.

Lets also hope for further (& god) news from Moonlight, after the work Evan Kirby of FCR has been doing on the recently acquitted Anglo American data set. The metal in the ground at Moonlight is worth US$16.6 billion at current iron ore prices, so I think its worth a lot more than the US$33m which some people were touting around as a figure on other BB's. Don't think this will come as a cash sale however - more likely a farm-in , or JV with another South African or Major International Mining partner.

Zinc, Lead & Silver prices all continue to climb from 5 yr lows.

This is a MASSIVELY undervalued asset. Worth at least 1p on a 6 month view and 3p on a 2 yr view, in my opinion.

Well done JT for making something actually HAPPEN !

IMHO, DYOR, GLA.

Beauforts today Company news

Ferrum Crescent (FCR.L, 0.32p) – Speculative Buy
Ferrum Crescent, the AIM, ASX and JSE listed mining development company announced yesterday that it has acquired 100% of the share capital of GoldQuest Iberica S.L. further to the excise of its option as announced on 16 February 2016. GoldQuest owns 100% of two lead-zinc exploration projects, Toral and Lago, in Spain. Ferrum believes there is a potential for re-interpretation of historical data and delivery of a new geological model identifying potential zones of continuous mineralisation. Mineralogical data supports initial assessment of the mineralisation as being metallurgically straight forward. Ferrum believes that it can implement a cost effective work programme targeting potential new shallow high-grade ore deposits at the Toral project.

Our view: With its option on the Toral and Lago lead-zinc projects now completed, Ferrum can focus on the analysis and re-interpretation of historical geological data. We are encouraged with the high prospectivity for additional lead-zinc mineralisation particularity in the more advanced Toral project. We look forward to updates on the re-interpretation of the geological model and a revised compliant resource estimate. In the meantime, we reiterate our Speculative Buy on the stock.

I'm sure Daley and the boy Wilson will cream it off for themselves much like Agar cash, may be pay down some debt. One way or another Daley will get this company private and i think D&A are in on it. First they need to sell off anything that will make anyone else bid against them.
Anyway this is not the right place to discuss this, FCR has its own good news to crow about now :-) If this consolidates tomorrow then there is hope for this "hole in the ground" yet :-)

+45% is good and the news here still has to break in the media.

pat...re:EKT if you and others wanted to buy something you would get the price down as low as you could and you would remove any attractions to other parties by asset stripping assets for cash which can be creamed off. just thought i would mention it.....

Remember· Analysis and re-interpretation of existing historic data on the Iberian Projects to commence in September 2016.This is now Justin Tooth, Executive Chairman of Ferrum Crescent, commented:"We are delighted to have completed the acquisition of such exciting lead-zinc assets in Spain with significant amounts of historic geological and exploration data available. The acquisition process has taken longer than initially anticipated, however GoldQuest is now well placed for the next stage of its development as part of our group. Our project team has designed a low-cost work programme focused on testing our assumptions, with respect to various extrapolations made by prior owners, through the structured re-interpretation and analysis of the original raw data. I look forward to announcing our progress with this initial work programme in due course."Merlin Marr-Johnson, Ferrum Crescent's Senior Project Adviser, commented:"Though high grade ore has historically been mined at Toral, the project has not previously been systematically explored. Historic soil geochemistry surveys are incomplete and the principal logic of regional structural controls on mineralisation have not yet been applied, despite evidence of numerous artisanal workings at surface and drill intersections at depth. Historic drilling has not seemingly tested shallow targets nor intersected the full thickness of the mineralised corridor. I believe that the Toral asset, in particular, has real potential to host a substantial resource and it will therefore be the primary focus of our planned structured work programme as we seek to refine our geological theories before commencing drilling activities
