Short term start of closing the gap back to 100p+ with T/U (21/7) and Results (18/08) on the horizon ?

AGM statement (trading update) - things sound like they're going fairly well at this staffing group:

"...The Group remains on course to meet market expectations for the full year."

Broker forecasts look undemanding to my mind, so I would hope to see the company update with an out-perform statement later this year. It seems well-managed, and performed well last year.

More detail is given today about different countries - Empresaria has an unusually wide geographic footprint for such a small cap, but it seems to work:

Lol PJ1, I'm not the most educated myself, but I sure know how to invest and make money.....

Good luck to all holders, we'll see how the share price makes ground up until the Trading Update, which you would have to expect to be at the least very encouraging.

Thought me would ruin the thread Santangello 'cause I aint educated!

Currently I have every confidence the BoD will deliver. Looking for the debt to reduce but somehow feel it may increase with further acquisitions.

There has been some selling pressure for some time here, no doubt value will win in the end.

Today's AGM statement was reassuring. I thought recent shareprice weakness was perhaps reflective of a slowdown in their UK side (BREXIT concerns?). While the UK wasn't mentioned in today's update, I was pleased with the positive noise surrounding Europe, ROW & their US acquisition.

Similar language in today's AGM statement to the previous year which suggests all on track.

2015

"The Group has made a good start to the year, delivering like for like growth against this period in 2014. Each of our three regions, the UK, Continental Europe and Rest of the World are profitable and growing and the investments made in 2014 are performing well, in line with our expectations.

As part of our stated strategy we are focused on developing leading brands with sector expertise whilst increasing our footprint in key economic centres. As such, we will continue to look for opportunities for both organic and external investments.

The Group remains on course to meet market expectations for the full year."

Strong hold for me and indeed I made a small top up when it dropped back mid-morning.
Arden indicate Adj EPS of 10.8p & a PER of 7.8 appears undemanding IMHO.

Good to see the US acquisition bedding in well, that has the potential to improve the rating due to its structural growth/counter cyclical characteristics.

I am not sure that RNS gets the price moving - while the rating is low that seems to be what the market values this collection of recruitment businesses at - with the debt. Most staffing related companies seem to be stuck or seeing their share price moving backwards and not sure that this is going to change here unless some more colour emerges at the AGM. We might need an acquisition to kick start things.

Battlebus, good statement, but a bit bland. Slightly difficult to read if that is price sensitive at all ?

I suppose the reassurance that there are no problems might lead to a sigh of relief and a slight rise ? Having seen the Directors recently I know they are disappointed that January trading statement "ahead of expectations", then damn good results in March, and EMR still trading 20% below the price at the end of 2015. If they do make the 2016 numbers ( and they have a good record of forecasts creeping up during the course of the year: this year's forecast started at 9.5p and is now 10.5p) then they are on 8x which is crazy.

Sit and wait for the share price to catch up here

xd and AGM Trading Update Thursday.

Not sure how the UK will be faring but overseas should show good growth and Europe will be aided by the falling GBP.

Indonesia that was singled out in the annual results as an area where profits fell seems to have bounced back this year:-



...overall then would expect a positive update.
