31/3/2011 03:12 | Very promising update - looks like EXR have been quietly burning the midnight oil over recent months on the Moselle data. These 'unconventional' tight gas plays are certianly high risk, and won't be cheap to get out of the ground, if commercial, but could hold significant shareholder value if there's enough gas trapped down there. Definitely worth a few speculative p on the share price. | drewz

06/3/2011 01:39 | This looks interesting in context of Moselle permit: ´ Aurelian Oil & Gas has successfully flowed tight gas in Poland using technology that has revolutionised the natural gas market in the US and could do the same in Europe´... ´The initial flow rate from Siekierki is highly encouraging. A successful long-term test could have wide implications for the European gas market, which continues to try to reduce its dependence on Russia. Werner Riding, an oil and gas analyst at broker Ambrian, says that the well "potentially opens up a new and significant source of unconventional gas in the heart of the European gas market", and expects "all of the large European utilities and gas industry players to sit up and pay attention".´ Full article: | extrap

05/3/2011 14:08 | Will anything come of this? Must be a decision in the next few weeks: The Tiger data room will close at the end of January 2011, with any potential farmin offers to be submitted prior to the end of Q1, 2011 Also: Netherland Sewell & Associates Inc. has been engaged by the company to provide an independent report of the resource potential of the Moselle permit and it is anticipated that the report will be completed by late Q1 2011. Could be a very significant share price kicker. Or a damp squid? | drewz

18/1/2011 11:02 | Looks as though the potential value of our Paris Basin assets might be undergoing a rerating. Some HotCopper comments: It is holding up very well after the recent run. I would like to see some healthy consolidation now, it looked as if it would pull back to aroun 15-16 but the buyers stepped straight back in and took it to 19. Very good signs. IMO its only the beginning as market cap still only Aus$30mil. 1.32 million acres in the Paris Basin is worth much much more than this. I guess we will see when resource estimates released sometime before March (Q1)and JV soon after that. -------------------- a convincing close above 20c will signal a move to 35 - 40c,which is reasonable to expect given EXR's asset quality. Holding for the next few months will be rewarding. -------------------- Torreador TGRL, which is another co. thats in the Paris Basin smashed through $18 last night to close at new highs. TGRL now have a market cap of 506 million. -------------------- I assume we'd like to have our resource estimate our before this: Elixir Petroleum Ltd. 15/1/2011 19:22 | I think I paid under 2p for mine, I'm really tempted to cash in and blow the profits on a family holiday to Thailand. It's also really tempting to sit on my hands as I've sold too quickly a number of times in the past. Not known for my patience though! Good luck all | norbert dentressangle
