25/9/2017 16:45 | If you read the full year results you will find that the loss from that contract has been fully reflected in the recent full year results so for this coming year it will no longer have an impact. | nickelmer
24/9/2017 23:03 | Correct ECK bought the Freehold | mazarin
24/9/2017 21:47 | According to my records, Eckoh paid a maiden dividend on 10/11/11 (0.1p) and have maintained a dividend payment around Sep/Oct/Nov time ever since. Granted the dividend cover is a little thin (x 1.2) but at least it's covered. Hopefully the cover will improve with increased US earnings. Additionally, if memory serves, did Eckoh not buy the freehold on their head office premises a couple of years ago (thus saving on operating costs)? Plus the "bad contract" should start working its way out of the figures at some point. | septimus quaid
24/9/2017 14:01 | Your statement about unexplained problems is the issue. They have cash and no problems. it's a very cash rich generating business | reallyrich
22/9/2017 16:42 | To really rich plonker You are missing the point.Payments should be made much sooner than six months after year end! | rabbrooks
13/9/2017 10:55 | The dividend arrives same time every year. | poacher45
13/9/2017 10:02 | The dividend payment arrives too late after end of financial year.Assume there must have been unexplained problems. | rabbrooks
30/8/2017 08:42 | Anyone know for sure, their website seems silent, interims due out end Nov 17? *just 'phoned their head office they couldn't be any more specific than "November" By way of feedback, suggested they might include a "financial calendar" on their website. | septimus quaid
23/8/2017 17:19 | Article in today's Times re ID fraud epidemic (500 new scams a day). Surely only a matter of time before companies outsource all payments and sack-off overseas call centres. | septimus quaid
21/8/2017 13:38 | Thanks for response, we'll see what others think. My preference is for less clutter. | mazarin
21/8/2017 12:42 | mazarin, it was myself who asked originally as I was interested in who was interested in ECK from abroad. Trouble is, I'm not sure if some of the indication is just one of us on an overseas holiday (myself included). Thank you for including it so far but, as far as I'm concerned, it's just clutter now and may as well go. | septimus quaid
21/8/2017 11:13 | A while ago I was asked to include International Visitor Counter in the header, is it useful and worth keeping there or just clutter? | mazarin
03/8/2017 13:26 | Thanks Greg, I'm sitting and waiting and watching.company share behaviour is weird, sometimes the results are good and the share prices go down, bad news, some go up.its a mad world.i live in hope I'll make some money. | hopefuldave
03/8/2017 11:11 | And so the journey continues, up again this morning another 1.75p to reach a second 'All time High' of 55p, that I recall was seen only briefly once last year. And yet we still do not have an RNS or Announcement, its all very strange, as clearly something is going on in the back ground. | mazarin
02/8/2017 15:26 | Thanks and there's me thinking 'Acc/Dist' meant bought by 'Accident resulting in Distress' as some of my deals have proved | mazarin
02/8/2017 15:18 | Oops I did not actually state acc/dist Accumulation and distribution. | greg the grinch
02/8/2017 11:36 | somethings up never seen the shares move like this in 16 years I have had them. Listing or takeover would be nice | reallyrich
02/8/2017 11:29 | Thanks Greg, like all acronyms its fine if you know they mean. Incidentally it's probably not gone unnoticed, but with today's price action (if it continues) building, we're a whisker short of an another 'all-time' time high. Me thinks we're due an RNS 'pretty dang' soon. | mazarin
02/8/2017 11:15 | acc/dist - after certain targets are reached some investors get out while new ones come in with new targets and that transfet often takes some time. 13 years :o) I guess it help to start sitting at the right moment in time. If you have not read Jesse Livermore's book I suggest you take a gander. | greg the grinch
02/8/2017 09:09 | Greg I'm not sure what you mean by 'acc/dist' can you explain? I've held and added to these since 2004, does 13 years qualify for 'sitting and waiting'....? | mazarin
01/8/2017 17:59 | Look at the long term graph, we hit 55 almost 2 years ago.... got a bit ahead of ourselves but that acc/dist phase is coming to an end soon and we will be making the next big push in the next 6 months or so after that breather. Dave.... the money is in the sitting and waiting.... Jesse Livermore. | greg the grinch
01/8/2017 11:01 | ECK's been making small but steady gains of late without any significant News to justify them, so I think it'll only need a couple of (RNS) Contract wins to push it further. Perhaps someone or an Institution is building a stake. Either way there's clearly something quietly going on here in the back ground? We're certainly due an announcement, given the sales momentum in US referred to in March Results and following Press comment made in May. For details, see: | mazarin
31/7/2017 23:08 | My god, I love that positive thinking, I'm out when I hopefully make a modest profit. Very soon . Had enough of the ups and downs of share dealings. Good fortune for you brave longtime holders. | hopefuldave
31/7/2017 17:42 | I'm hoping for a push towards £1 by Xmas or a fat buyout at £1.50 or hold for a few more years and £3. GLA | greg the grinch |
