16/1/2018 12:23 | ECK was always expensive but at 41p is now approx PER of 20x for year ending March 2019. share price now at level of 2014/15! All recent communication from management has been very positive + US tax effect. IMHO ECK has to be in buying range so I've topped up today. GLA | chasbas
16/1/2018 11:43 | Unfortunately for holders 40p is now looking increasingly likely. Its such a pity as it's held up for so long. I've been a follower of ECK since 2003 and find it very strange not to hear news from the Company for such a long time. It's share price has gradually diminished from 50's since early Nov last year - so has effectively lost around 20% since that time. | mazarin
16/1/2018 08:50 | Thanks for your comments. Will continue to hold. | spookies
15/1/2018 19:34 | Sadly Broking In UK small caps generally is really poor. With MiFid II now here I am not sure the situation improves . Looking forward to the new alternative solution for small companies to get proper exposure !!! | dubai123
15/1/2018 19:25 | No news makes investors lose patience and sell, making the price drop, that scares further investors who then sell and the price drops further, classic. The company needs to communicate more on its progress, be that good or bad. | nickelmer
15/1/2018 18:14 | This share price action is very disappointing. For a company which is supposed to have a bright future I would have expected more support in the share price. | spookies
15/1/2018 18:06 | ECK has held up remarkably well since the significant falls in early Dec, that for me proved to be the final straw, that marked my exit. I now remain on the side lines but have faith, as I've done during previous dark periods that ECK will produce 'something out the hat'. However, it may have further to go before it happens, who knows. | mazarin
15/1/2018 17:50 | Need some news to reverse the trend!! | oohrogerpalmer
12/1/2018 18:16 | Thanks to AllAtSea on LSE: Eckoh shortlisted for FS Tech award 2018 Quite a lot of contenders but see under 'Payments Innovation of the Year' | septimus quaid
12/1/2018 17:03 | under the RNS regulations if they see anything in the business which is either very negative or very positive-and hence affect the value of the company-then they are obliged to report that to the market. They have not done that so the statement " performance is in line with expectations" holds. No news is neither good or bad. An Outperformance RNS would be great but at the moment we just have to wait -and let them get on with running the business. | gerihatrick
12/1/2018 16:43 | The lack of news is VERY frustrating, I have no doubt they are working hard and making good progress but the dire lack of news does not make a compelling argument to buy the shares at all, no wonder they drift lower | nickelmer
12/1/2018 16:25 | ECK's been trading essentially flat for over a month now, I remain out and waiting patiently on the side lines. Long term holders must also be frustrated on lack of news | mazarin
07/1/2018 13:44 | I spotted PCI pal a few months ago, thought of buying a few but didn't. They seem to have moved a lot despite not yet trading profitably when the sale proceeds are stripped out. Their next set of results will be interesting and may offer more guidance on their potential true value. | nickelmer
05/1/2018 16:00 | A smaller but similar company has come to my attention: Pci-Pal (PCIP). share price is 58p with a market cap of £18m. Looks exciting but grateful for any opinions how PCIP compares with Eckoh and whether it is a serious competitor. Obviously there is plenty of room for both companies particularly in the US. | chasbas
13/12/2017 17:42 | Fewer trades today (15), representing 11 sells (61,657), 2 Buys (53,270) and 2 U/k's (12,171) so relatively evenly matched, resulting in 0.5p drop. Assuming, of course that ADVFN listing is accurate. | mazarin
12/12/2017 20:56 | Looking at the trades as listed by ADVFN for the last two days, they are shown as follows:- 11/12/17 recorded a total of (267,402) shares sold, set against buy of (2,708) shares. 12/12/17 recorded a total of (335,572) shares sold, set against buys of (63,414) shares. I note that mine was correctly shown as 'a sell' (the single largest deal) today. So IMV it took a relatively small number of transactions (62 in all) to bring the price down from 48p to 45p over the two day period. On average ECK generally turns over 6,365 shares each day. Assuming, of course that ADVFN listing is accurate. | mazarin
12/12/2017 20:16 | Problem with Bitcoin is, who do you sell to realise cash value when the bottom falls out? | mazarin
12/12/2017 19:05 | Maybe everybody's selling up to buy bitcoins? | septimus quaid
12/12/2017 16:40 | I have thought for some time now, that as Eckoh's profits become more visible and more predictable, as they are, despite the fact that this is good news, and a result of good management, there is a downside, which we may be seeing. With more predictable profits, investors are no longer buying a "potential" stellar growth stock, investors can see that Eckoh's PE is very high, or in other words the shares are overpriced at 50p. My long-term view, however, remains, fast forward 12-18 months, add in some decent contract wins in the USA and things are very different. Eckoh makes good margins, which will drop through to the bottom line, in 12 - 18 months time, Eckoh's PE could be much much lower and the share ridiculously cheap at 50p or in other words, much higher than they are now, even on an average PE multiple. "Everything comes to he who waits" lets hope so | nickelmer
12/12/2017 16:34 | be better at 21p | opodio
12/12/2017 16:34 | Considering the potential of the US market for Eckoh i'm disappointed at this share price level. Hopefully patience will be rewarded with some more US contract news early next year!! | oohrogerpalmer
12/12/2017 16:30 | Sept'- Thanks, hopefully this will improve at these levels | mazarin
12/12/2017 16:01 | Good luck Mazarin, compared to some on ADVFN, this has been an enjoyable and civilised board | septimus quaid
12/12/2017 15:43 | I'm sorry to say after 14 years I'm out. I'll be interested to discover what my 'sell' was recorded as | mazarin
12/12/2017 14:18 | End of year sellers adjusting their portfolios? Eck was this price 2 years ago, maybe some are losing patience? | nickelmer |
