The US market is over 5 times the size of the UK, look at Eck's current UK turnover and apply that multiple then calm down, they still have to win the business, but in a market with little competition, where call centres have to meet security requirements to comply with legislation..... seems like a very good opportunity to me

an RNS today to say that the FD has bought 28K shares That tells me she is confident contracts will come through. The US year end is usually December so could she be optimistic that further contracts will come through from the US this month? This purchase today suggests to me that she is confident they will come through! Time will tell if my interpretation has any foundation! I hold

Based on the webcast referred to below (can't get ADVFN to publish as a link), difficult to see what's not to like?

For full year results (June 18) would be nice to see a dividend increase (up to a penny?) or possibly a maiden interim declared.

In my view the key element of today's update is that US operations currently account for 37% of Group revenues and the expectation they (US operations) will in time, become larger than the existing UK business (currently at 63%). Followed closely by move into Profit that will lead to likelihood of further supportive comment from Analysts in the days to follow.

I can't see much room for disappointment here, so the relatively high p/e should be well supported. In particular, US progress is most encouraging.

May be worth looking into the functionality one of ECK Patents. Traditionally, it has been difficult to authenticate that calls made to Contact Centers are genuinely made by the cardholders.
Eckoh’s new process combines both Voice Biometrics to authenticate the Caller and also validates their phone ‘footprintR17; to authenticate the caller’s mobile device. It is this dual authentication mechanism which increases the Merchant’s confidence that the caller genuinely is the cardholder.
As a result, although a fraudster may be in possession of stolen card details (including the 3-digit security code) they are unlikely to pass a voice biometric check and also be calling from the cardholder’s own mobile phone. As such, Eckoh’s US patented product could significantly reduce the ever increasing risk of Fraud under these circumstances. Well done ECK

The thing that intrigued me about the RNS was the statement "won against the Group's main competitor".

Who is this "main competitor" and are they in a position to make a bid for ECK?

No serious mistakes perhaps but there was a problem in mid-2016 which caused a sharp fall in the share price (See profit warning rns of 2.9.16, para 4). Fortunately it seems to have been dealt with promptly and has made a good recovery since.
Today's up-beat rns seems to have been anticipated to the extent of being already in the price.

SP risen from 10p in 2010 to over 50p today.
Market cap still only £132m but with fantastic growth prospects, particularly in US.
Management is excellent. I can't remember any mistakes made.
OK shares appear highly rated but IMHO this is a great company. GLA

Eckoh said that trading in the six months to the end of September was in line with expectations, again showing double-digit percentage growth in both revenue and gross profit as the group continued to deliver on its strategy with increasing momentum.

It said UK trading continued to be solid with a similar revenue performance to H117 and a strong pipeline of deals in the second half.

It said that in the US, following on from the success of securing the largest ever payment contract win in March, the company had won seven new secure payments contracts during the period with a total value of $5.1m.
