Started early this morning, hopefully the first buy of many. Interesting over last few days approx 400k sold, 1m+ bought net effect on share price - 25 pips, mms playing games

What concerns me is the cash outflows, Equity Developments note is predicting for this financial year and especially next. Despite a revenue increase next year they are predicting a £1.3m reduction in cash (and cash equivalents) balances during 2017.

Nice trickle of buyers this morning, needs a push to get up through 6.25 ceiling, positive RNS would do the trick...

It looks as if Cantors are bidding up for a bit of stock.

Usually a sale of 50k to 100k shares would knock them back.

doglover, that's an excellent question. No doubt it will cause great disturbance in certain quarters.

Someone's averaging in again, must be wanting to buy quite a few shares, medium term hold, the share price will hit 7p+ once it can clean it's face. Now it's getting a foothold in the US it will be on someone's radar. Imho

Another thought I had is - perhaps they are holding back the vamousse marketing budget until the Autumn term starts. From memory, that is when lice cases peak post the summer holidays. It would make sense this year, because they are now present across a wide estate of outlets and would get bigger bang per unit of marketing spend.

I hadn't heard that, Feb. Interesting.A better outcome for shareholders could be to wait until the business is washing it's face before accepting an offer. I suspect we would see significant price appreciation in that event, as investors price in the view that perhaps the dilution has ended. Any premium would then come on top of that.Question remains - can they generate free cash? Management have suggested it can happen on a monthly basis by end 2016, but the last ED note suggested it won't happen before 2018.

Given the importance of the US market to Deltex, I can't see them handing it over to EW, unless a lot of money changed hands - for example 10m pounds. In this light, one has to remember how Lidco's 2009 deal with Arrow/Covidien fared. Initially a big boost to LID's share price, but beyond the rather modest (if company-saving!) licensing payments, it did nothing for the company's long-term prospects. Anyway, if EW are prepared to pay such a large sum to Deltex, they might as well take Deltex over. At 12p or over, Deltex would have difficulty blocking such an offer. It would make more sense for a larger competitor of EW to take Deltex over - they would be able to build on the work done in the US, helped by a proper marketing budget.

Indeed I think EP actually suggested that if Deltex were looking for a partner, they would indeed be looking for someone larger than EW, though that was before the US became Deltex's prime focus.

Thanks arf. Sincere apologies ;)"Would Deltex trust Edwards with the proper marketing CardioQ, when it would potentially undermine Flotrac?"I think EP mentioned Edwards are opening around 8x more accounts than Deltex, due to far superior rep numbers. Also, the ODM+ is a combination of ODM and PPWA - so Deltex already market the two approaches as being complementary. If they partnered with Edwards you would have the two market leading technologies in a single box. So yes, I imagine Deltex would jump at the chance.
