At this stage even if the "news" was directly from CGNR I don't think investors trust them anymore. It's such a disappointment.

The people involved have already succeeded tremendously well by having handsome wages paid to them for over a decade for achieving nothing but a decimated share price for us holders. I might visit Clontibret and surrounds again to see what, if anything, is actually going on.

This will come good....... eventually....you will see odvod. But kdr may have an important role to play. In other words maybe cgnr will be in a position to go it alone due to Finland successes in the near future.I do think the Nevada Mine visit is relevant also. The people involved are not in this to fail.Good luck to you.

Very quiet here....we need some company changing news here. We live in hope. Are they doing anything at the moment?

Thanks Goldeneye, a few more % and he has to stop or trigger takeover rules. I thought at one point he might have colluded with MTR because between them they could have done the same a while back but no point doing that unless you have a clear plan. Can't speculate because we don't know, there are all sorts of options, but I hope Prof likes golf because he might find he's got a bit more time on his hands at some point.

Last line in article below suggests a payout was coming to him. He clearly has an eye for an investment. Maybe the 25% man is a high roller. I don't know. Either way CGNR needs interest from somewhere!http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/northern_ireland/8493973.stm

Does he still own Odyssey cinema? If so that would be a big cash cow

In April 2008, Entertainment Enterprises announced that it would be acquiring the Storm Cinemas chain with the exception of the Belfast cinema, and would be contracting the management of the cinemas to Odeon. On 31 May 2011, Odeon announced that it had bought back the UCI chain in Ireland (including the Storm Cinemas-branded locations) from Entertainment Enterprises.[3]Irish cinemas were re-branded under the ODEON name in 2012 to coincide with the new cinema opening at The Point village in Dublin, as of the end of 2013 the UCI name is no longer used in any cinemas in the UK & Ireland, all are now branded ODEON.Odyssey Cinemas BelfastPavilion Odyssey Centre, 2 Queen's Quay, Belfast, BT3 9QQOriginally built and operated by Warner Village Cinemas, the 12-screen Warner Village opened in May 2001. It was re-branded Vue Cinemas and then was sold to the independent chain of Storm Cinemas of Ireland for 5m GB Pounds in June 2006.This twelve screen multiplex is located in the new Odyssey Centre in Belfast. It's largest screen has 476 seats and the smallest screen has 155. There are three VIP screens and an exclusive Directors Lounge which offers panoramic views of the Belfast skyline and riverfront.

If that's our man he must be well heeled, lets hope it's not a case of more money than sense.

G5: Maybe it is not a lot for him. Have to be open to the possibility that something transformative happens here but a long history suggests otherwise.

O' Sullivan now up over 25%. That is a lot of cash to have invested....he increased in November, December, January. Hope he knows something we don't.

newmont (73mn oz of reserves / $8bn market cap) will have zero interest in CGNR. Don't move the needle. Could buy them out for pocket change. Newmont operate in established gold producing countries - Americas, Australia, Africa....cant see them adding Armagh to the A list destinations

you forgpt to mention the staggering amount of money they have öaid themselves........and the remarkable ratio between expenditure on remuneration/salaries/pension contributions to work on drilling / upgrading resources.....and then of course there is the minor matter of how much they need or should I say would need ( probably more appropriatw imo ) to progress things in terms of EIS / construction..........funny how the rampers habe all gone quiet...excwpt thst is for that most "talented" and imo gullible individual whose poster name starts with "G".......

Fair point, however, just maybe the 2m oz is not required. I notice Newmont also use biox at one of their mines in Nevada.http://www.mining-technology.com/projects/carlin/

they don´t have the funds to do the nec. drilling to get up to 2m oz - where majors would come looking. Hardly promising.
