10/6/2015 12:30 | Disappointment coming through after the results - As PP noted very difficult to deal in quantity so could well be a major spike down (if an institution is trying to reduce) Looks like a 50K Institution sell and buy earlier but BIG question is there still an overhang ?? PP_ Could now be under water at 360/367 after dealing costs and stamp. | pugugly
06/6/2015 15:58 | Sorry about that Jamie! Seems an illiquid share, difficult to buy/sell more than 1000 shares unfort. I like the strong bal sht and reasonable per here, plus recent good tr stat & history of good margins | paulypilot
06/6/2015 08:30 | Paul, you were one of the people responsible for making me pay more for mine then, thanks for that :P | jamielein
06/6/2015 02:04 | Very difficult to buy these. Got 2,000 at 365p this morning. P. | paulypilot
05/6/2015 20:23 | coolen, You have to remember that these are normally very thinly traded , although there have been some sizeable transactions in the last two weeks : notably on 29/5/15 and 1/6/15. The shares are fairly tightly held both by management and institutions. patience should pay here. | roddiemac2
05/6/2015 15:58 | I was surprised at the market's lukewarm reaction to the trading update. | coolen
05/6/2015 12:46 | Haven't owned these since selling them back in February 2014 but I decided to buy back in today. Results next week. Hopefully they contain a positive outlook statement. One thing I've been impressed with is this company's cash flow record. I've been watching them for over a year and hopefully now's the time to buy back, though I've never been too great with timing. | jamielein
07/5/2015 18:33 | Today`s trading statement confirms that PBT will be £3.1m , and cash is up at nearly £13m. prelims will be on 9/6/15 | roddiemac2
09/4/2015 10:00 | Rod:> Fully agree with what you say re CML - It is difficult to deal in quantity and subject to MM's having wide margins on small moves. My comment re tax selling is that I have often been able to pick up good value stocks that have fallen out of favour when others have been crystalising their losses. As I have just done here - Hence my comment above re trades on the 2nd - The narrowest margin I have been able to get on CML for some time. The difficulty with CML (unless you are in for the long haul - say 5+years) is to be able to crystalise the profit - It took me 3 deals over 5 weeks last time I sold back in January as MM's would only deal in NMS without demanding significant discounts I hope this answers your question - Timeline re investing - All my employed life and i am now a pensioner. | pugugly
09/4/2015 09:32 | Pugugly, You seem over concerned about every small price movement in small volume. CML have the habit of erring on the cautious side when making statements . I see no reason to doubt what they have said. In such a thinly traded stock, anyone selling dents the price. There are many reasons why investors sell. most of them are not ominous. | roddiemac2
07/4/2015 18:36 | PUGUGLY, How long have you been investing in shares ? | roddiemac2
05/4/2015 16:29 | Interesting price action and volume on Thursday - Could it be more bad news leaking (in which case some porkies in the interim managment statement) or end of year tax loss selling. Only Tuesday's opening will tell - If the share price continues to fall then (imo) business is not as good as implied in the IMS (imo). | pugugly
11/3/2015 09:37 | IMS Today Interim Management Statement The Group's operating results are currently tracking slightly ahead of full year market expectations with second half performance on course to exceed the first. Within industrial Storage markets, demand for the Group's flash memory controller products continues to firm and the number of new customer opportunities for the expanded product range has grown. Revenue from Wireless semiconductor products has improved following the weaker comparable first half period supported by the first production shipments into previously announced satellite machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. Margins and operating costs have remained within target range, driving cash balances higher. A revised planning application for a residential development on part of the Group's Oval Park headquarters has been refused at local council level and the Group is currently considering its next steps. There have been no other material events or transactions to report since 1 October 2014. Outlook The Board remains confident that full year market expectations will be met and that the management strategies being followed will deliver a return to annual growth thereafter. | roddiemac2
10/3/2015 09:10 | pugugly, The planning application should be seen as possible icing on the cake: nothing more than that. CML`s future success depends on whether their R&D bears fruit. They have ample cash to fund R&D. | roddiemac2
06/3/2015 08:34 | rod;> Thanks - Will continue to wait. | pugugly
05/3/2015 17:46 | No definitive answer as yet. Officers recommendation:- "Recommendation APPROVE subject to the completion and submission of a signed Unilateral Undertaking under the terms of Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning act 1990 (as amended) includes the following schedules: " | roddiemac2
05/3/2015 15:43 | Down 5% on an upday in the market. Anyone know if there has been an adverse ruling in the planning application ? I have not been able to find the case reference | pugugly
28/2/2015 10:00 | From the " Maldon and Burnham Standard "-- Despite objections from the public and the parish plans for 47 homes have been recommended by planning officers for approval. Will be considered by Planning Committee on 2-3-15 | roddiemac2
27/2/2015 21:52 | PUGUGLY, Charts only reliably tell you what has already happened . | roddiemac2
27/2/2015 11:28 | Double head and shoulders forming at 385//388 ?? If correct could we fall back to the 300p level? Any chart specialist able to comment ?? | pugugly
05/2/2015 23:50 | Mark Slater and his funds are significant holders here. He will be presenting at the Mello Bloomberg event next month along with other respected fund managers, tech investors and extremely successful companies. Why not come along for a great evening ? | davidosh
20/1/2015 22:35 | Thanks for the update willoughby - have done my own research and decided to invest in the company's development programme. | jdb2005
05/1/2015 16:02 | Hi Roddiemac, I admire your tenacity. Whilst I havent followed these bulletin boards for some months I own more shares here now than a year ago. Having bought a few at £5.30- £2.98 seemed cheap!! I,like you, view the future with some degree of positivety. The company will announce contracts this year as a consequence of the research team it invested in a year or so ago. As you have pointed out there are some fairly shrewd names on the investors list- one of whom I know personally and he tells me his target is ten pounds within two years. | wiloughby2
18/12/2014 16:48 | Well done on keeping the faith roddie but looking a little rich for me at this price and could not bring myself to buy at the lows until I knew how good or bad things were. Typical illiquid share, exaggerated moves in either direction and you have to be nimble. | tiswas |
