10/3/2017 14:13 | After the Interims trading update share price Angel upgraded estimates ( currently unchanged ) to ---On track to achieve Full Year estimated PBT of £4.0 m . They forecast £4.5m for 2018. If you strip out the forecast cash figures for 2017 and 2018 ( 2017 £11m and 2018 £12.6m ) gives a P/E of 14.1x falling to 12.7x in 2018. At the time of Interim results they were apparently saying " CML remains very good value for future earnings growth " ----explains the subsequent rise in share price. | roddiemac2
26/2/2017 14:43 | Seems to have powered up since 6th Feb on no recent news, almost a very delayed reaction to the positive interim report in November. Is something bubbling underneath or has information about continuing business improvements leaked into the market?I do not hold but have watched and maybe failed to react to the breakout. | bones
13/2/2017 13:46 | Decided to buy back here today having held around 3 years ago. I did buy back briefly about 18 months ago but only held for a week so that doesn't count. Difficult to get a quote online to buy so that's hopefully a positive sign. | jamielein
05/2/2017 09:45 | fastbuck, I am in S.W. France until the end of the month, after which I should be able to access S.P.Angel`s coverage , which is normally thorough. | roddiemac2
02/2/2017 13:10 | Taking a look at company, been to their corporate site and the two main divisions. Finding it difficult to get a good picture of demand by product and whether they will benefit fully from the strong semi market. Would be helpful if anyone has any videos of management or analysts discussing company | fastbuck
22/11/2016 19:04 | One satisfied holder here. Your 7th June prediction was spot on. | coolen
22/11/2016 11:37 | "In total, the Group has released nine new products in the last three years, however it is important to note that first half revenues are predominantly from products that were released pre-2013. The more recent products provide us with a pipeline of additional future revenue, with numerous design wins already having been secured." Their continued investment in R@D , coupled with acquisitions should drive growth. Nice to see SICOMM contributing. Am I talking to myself?! | roddiemac2
14/6/2016 07:46 | Accounts look sastisfactory - Revenue profit and cash all up. p/e still high at 20 but lower if net cash of £13.6 million deducted from market cap of £59M | pugugly
07/6/2016 09:21 | I agree wiloughby2. Results are unlikely to disappoint. | roddiemac2
06/6/2016 13:17 | Had a few more today - they look great value to me. | wiloughby2
27/5/2016 10:01 | CML Microsystems Acquires China's Wuxi Sicomm Technologies (ALLISS) | roddiemac2
26/5/2016 09:53 | The co. confirms results will be Tuesday 14th June. Still fairly tightly held and on most days very illiquid, with one recent exception :-- 10/5/16 ADVFN showed several trades totalling 500,000, but there has been no accompanying holding RNS ( not for the first time with CML. I am not sure whether that is the fault of the relevant shareholder/s or the person responsible at CML ). | roddiemac2
11/5/2016 15:49 | Almost time for the annual rerate here. These have drifted downwards with little more than EU vote apathy. | wiloughby2
04/12/2015 15:48 | SP Angel ( joint broker ) are forecasting sales to grow by 4.6% to £22.8m in 2016, and by 8.3% to £24.7m in 2017, ---operating margins of 14.5% and 15.8%,----earnings growth of 0.8% to 16.6p and 18.2% to 19.6p. "Design win momentum continues, and new products, a number of which are much higher AUP`s, such as wireless chipsets , are expected to positively impact within the year ending March 2017" Patience. | roddiemac2
02/12/2015 09:51 | Herald have gone over 5% a good sign: not sure if Katy Potts still runs the fund; she is shrewd. Miton have just over 16%. Miton held 11.86 at 12/6/15 , and Herald held 4.68% | roddiemac2
24/11/2015 08:50 | PUGUGLY, Yes, solid results , and some confidence about the medium to long term. There are signs that their continued investment in R&D will increase profitability in the future. | roddiemac2
24/11/2015 07:56 | Half year accounts out - 1st read nothing spectacular either way - Possible softness in 2nd half flagged - /very much steady as she goes - | pugugly
11/11/2015 13:38 | Continuing to drift back down on small volume and no public news - Potentially news of poor results leaking ?? | pugugly
12/6/2015 10:33 | Buy back--- CML Microsystems Plc (the "Company"), which designs, manufactures and markets a broad range of semiconductors, primarily for global communication and data storage marketsannounces that on 10 June 2015 under the authority granted by shareholders on 30 July 2014, it purchased 50,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 376.5 pence per Ordinary Share. 10/6/2015 22:58 | Hi Pug, I sold half at 375p, will run the balance for the longer term. Tricky stock to value at the moment, although the outlook statement a couple of days ago pointed towards a better result this year. Regards, Paul. | paulypilot
10/6/2015 22:23 | PUGUGLY, "Disappointment coming through after the results" --A strange interpretation of events . I for one am not in the least disappointed . The company is making all the right noises , and they are confident of resuming growth. They have increased the dividend . Cash is up. I am not concerned with what the shares do now.I have had a large holding for years , sometimes top lopping, sometimes adding. This is a medium to long term play. I know the management ,and have faith in their ability. Patience. I have seldom dealt in less than 5,000 shares . Most recent buys:--I bought several times in June last year and once in October .I will ask my broker to see what the market will take tomorrow , and report to you. | roddiemac2
10/6/2015 15:06 | jbfnfn:> As PP noted very difficult to deal in more than 1000 shares at a time and normally a wide spread - Assuming that ADVFN marks are correct the volume strongly suggests it was one institution trading with another at the marked price and that the deal was then put through the market as a matter of record. The similarity in timing is strongly suggestive of thsi. It may possibly have been put through the house broker however I do not have enough data to comment on this point. I am about 95% confident on this unless a MM is trying to fill a large iceberg order but my understanding that this is against the rules. Glad to be of help | pugugly
10/6/2015 14:20 | Mr PUGUGLY I noticed the two trades for 50K shares this morning. You characterise these as "Institution sell and buy". How do you know?. I am just a Joe Bloggs investor. I see the transactions on the LSE website. @ 376.50 it's hard to know if this is a buy or a sell. "an overhang" is it likely that a market maker is now holding a large block to sell is that the "BIG question". Who would the market maker be peel hunt? winterflood? Surely a market maker wouldn't want £188,000 of CML on their books its too much. I don't have level 2 data would that help me? Sorry for these possibly simple questions I know nothing. | jbfnfn |
