Courtesy of sense2. His thoughts from Tuesday.

Thoughts.Tue 09:46From the look of it out of the half dozen plus trades only one was a sell and the price has hardened to 5p on the ask and is creeping forward although a little too early to say if that momentum will continue.

We have at most a defined time limit of 8 week wait before results,my impression is we will have them long before then. Getting shorter as each day passes.

I am looking forward to the dividend.

The name change to CICCapital has a great deal of meaning for the company.

That.s if my thinking is correct,

Why such a name change? It's not for nothing ,as it takes some planning, time and expense in its execution.

If the results do show an higher than expected uplift, add that to next years planned output of more than double this years we may have proof of the beginnings of the companies ambitions to footsie 350 which in turn means an share price target of around £2.00 plus at the current number of shares in issue to give the company a market cap of £350/400 million.

First thoughts are where will the eps requirements and asset base build come from as that will be a remarkable event,
It can only be assumed that some of the IPOs on the companies bucket list are of great wealth. From research so far it would appear that this is so,also external rumours abound from idle chat that the company is turning away requests for business unless its plum and can fit in smoothly with the companies ops.

Please remember DYOR and be as realistic as possible with your investment don't marry it for better or worse.

NAP, now worries , not in the blame game
after all we are in AIM where there is a high level of corporate governance and transparency, excellent regulatory oversight, just look at ENRC:0 (on the main board admittedly) and we in a stock where 73% of the shares are in foreign ownership:-00

edit: but hey "who dares wins"

shouldn't be long mike with the web sites if IPOs are been launched this year.

Indeed the EF IPO is the one to watch its a shame more info is not available.
They could corner certain markets in several countries like QFI will be doing.

One company who may be looking at investing in the ipo

I doubt any of the web sites basics will change until the companies are about to be launched as exampled by CICC.

So long as the price of gold stays over the two hundred dollar mark, how is there a problem? It makes little difference to the launch price as that has been set with all the gold price parameters in mind;if it hasn't what are we doing being invested in here?

The EF IPO is the one to watch.

The Chinese ,Japanese and Arabs are all interested as evidenced by your own comments.

Your point about the assets being held for two years has implications for any futher divis.,

yeh but its nice to have a little reminder of whats going to happen this year and year after year with the IPOs.
I would say there will be a que at stuarts door once he gets the first few away or as 1 well informed poster has said there already is.
From the sounds of it the first IPOS are already bank rolled by the middle east and Asian countries.
Case of wait and see how well informed the poster is.

FTSE 350
Cant see it but as the IPOs stakes can not be sold for two years who knows how much each will be worth.
Gold can rise just as quickly as it had fallen.
It will be interesting to see where gold will be in three months time.

With cicr mining I assume cicc will receive a nice dividend from the profits.

Although china is one market stuart has for IPOs I sure there will be other countries.

Stuart it would be good to see the website for these companies on line as they are still under construction.

Appointment of adviser to raise IPO capital for CIC Fuels and Sino Reserves

The Company is pleased to advise that in response to enquiries from major Saudi Oil companies and others, CIC Fuels, Sino Reserves and Sida Group have entered into an agreement with a Saudi Arabian intermediary to act on their behalf with a view to raising significant IPO funding facilitated by CIC. The IPO funds being sought are GDP 15,000,000 at IPO for each of Sino Reserves and CIC Fuels and GBP85,000,000 on IPO for Sida Group.

CIC has established good relationships with major Saudi State Enterprises and believes that this appointment is a significant step in enabling CIC to operate effectively and raise funds in the Middle East.

SS very neat tie with what sense is inferring about the IPOs being backed by Chinese and Japanese money.

Which might mean that there is no lack of interest and investment money to spare so no trouble getting IPOs away.

That being the situation we can expect EF to get away very well indeed,

The Chinese approach to financing and clarifies more of what sense2 says, which I have copied in my post 5332.

So the company that this poster "tomboy" is talking about is not CICR but I am sure you will catch the drift. As always DYOR.

Edit.ooooooooooooooops forgot the post............so here courtesy of tomboy......

Edit - back to NBR (worth a watch ) - 2.5mill cap about to be injected with assets for 29% of NBR

ALEC HOGG: And the whole Chinese approach - why go there - why not go to traditional financiers of mines in ...

MIKE SOLOMON: Well because there weren't any options. Immediately after Lehman Brothers and the global financial crisis there was a period of a hiatus where nobody really knew what was happening in the world. Project finance had dried up for mining companies, particularly early stage mining companies. People reluctant to go into growth stocks because cash was king in a recessionary environment and we had a choice of either taking the company forward and looking for where we could find money, which was China, or potentially try to sit it out and perhaps not surviving the hiatus. So we took a decision - we went to China, we sold the company in China and the rest is history. We brought in $887m - part of it in equity and the other in project finance and the project is now fully funded and construction is under way. So as a technical project it is a highly successful project.

MinpmToday 09:40Morning, you do generate answers;

Frankly I don't see that the share options make any difference except to the holders ;so long as they are accounted for and they are in the 200million figure.

55% of the share in circulation. The free float is much less There are institutional holders.who want more stock.

There is massive upside potential, not on IPOs alone, but alongside expected eps increase.(for which the per may actually go negative) if it does and that is realised in the market the share price should rocket off !!

The market for the IPOs is not necessarily european money.

There is no problem in raising cash from its sell downs as required, again It is not necessarily european money

My belief ; fund raising is actually done by CIC for IPO leaving the issuing brokers just to dot the eyes(sic) and cross the T.s

There are already sources of revenue in place and operational for CIC apart from its external work as for instance with Mii

Companies business connections are mostly senior figures in the business corridors of power around the world within the areas in which it deals.

The Chinese way of doing business is not the same as in Europe.

There will be no dilution. The 4% "B' class issue was to around 11 million shares last time. This time the free float is larger, the current divi is accounted for in the 200mill.

I do rule out general dilution. If even a hint,it will be published. The company has more than enough assets to sell down

27 companies.Half a dozen of the companies are mentioned on the web site and the rest are there to be found. At one time I found the potential for links to 77 companies. They are not shown by CIC as they cannot be valued until an independent fair valuation takes place at preIPO.

3 this year and up to 8 next year

Associated web sites will be basics, until the companies are out.

Spike in Jan., was interest in the stock so should imagine its on many watchers lists.

CIC does not work on a time based system rather a system of step by step task completion for each project within an overall general time frame.
