Tianjin Energy

This company is a real biggie.

Trading Update
11 Apr 12

Tianjin Energy Group Limited ("Tianjin")

Under the terms of its advisory agreement CIC is due to be issued with up to 6% of the enlarged equity of Tianjin on its IPO. Tianjin, an oil import/export company had turnover in 2011 of RMB 11.2billion and profits of approximately RMB260m.

The company has recently been awarded oil port terminal and bunkering rights in China which the Directors believe to be the only private enterprise in China to be granted an oil terminal licence.

CIC is providing restructuring and capital raising strategies to allow Tianjin to list on a prescribed exchange to raise the capital for the building of oil terminal and bunkering at which point it will have earned its Interest.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are 2 things that everyone missed from this:

1.....Nobody bothered converted the Chinese RMB to GBP !
CICR are due "up to 6%" of Tianjin Energy, who had "turnover in 2011 of RMB 11.2billion (1.1 billion) and profits of approximately RMB260m (25.4m)."

2....Nobody bothered looking at the Tianjin Energy website!
Its a huge Chinese company with lots of project areas including Oil & Gas exploration.

This means that CICR would get "up to 6%" of 3 Nigerian oilfields with 125m barrels of RECOVERABLE oil !:

Tianjin Energy Resources Limited owns:
34% (up to 2.04% to CICR) interest in Asaramatoru Marginal Field (OML 11).26m barrels recoverable oil (Investment of $60m)
35% (up to 2.10% to CICR) interest in KE Marginal Field (OML 55). 26m barrels recoverable oil
50% (up to 3.00% to CICR) interest in OPL 240 in Nigeria.73m barrels recoverable oil (Investment of $200m)

It works out that CICR's "up to 6%" stake would give them between 2-3% of this total.

Use your figures. Doesn't matter what you use. When this large Chinese Resource company IPO's, CICR will own "up to 6%" of it so will own "up to 6%" of a 1 billion turnover company who also own large stakes in 3 Nigerian oilfields with 125 million barrels of recoverable oil .

Yes mikes. His henchman too.

With regards to the Wits Basin episode, losing of THE Gold Mine was a very high price to pay, in an effort to get London Mining to pay, what Wits Basin was claiming was owed to it. CICR had(as it does) worked for London Mining and was in no way involved in the $64Omillion claim . I viewed, as obviously had sense2, the Court Docs and there was NO mention of CICR.

Several times the CICR's legal team, requested that Wits Basin, show where CICR was named in the Court Case.

I watch with interest, especially with regards to Wits basin and its CEO.

However, you will get claims on here, of every shape and form. Check them out for yourself.

With the results due at the very latest end of June although expecting them anytime now, what have we to look forward to?

In a nutshell, an overall increase in company business, confirmation of increase in both asset base and eps, further dividend announcement, ongoing business review, future prospects review.

Thats a small paragraph; big meaning for the share price because if all the above comes true in a general business way then it will back up the share price enabling it to creep forward.

BUT if it reports in spectacular fashion then expect the share price to leap forward and not look back; by spectacular fashion i.e. a good general increase in the eps to pence rather than points of pence, assets to be at least doubled and ongoing statements to indicate much more expansion in terms of bottom line additions.

Remember
The back office staff remains around the 20 mark so additional work flow does not impact on the bottom line by increases in staff expansion costs. This means overall operational costs still kept down within a tight budget.

Dividend maintained at 4% of holdings as before would also be good news especially if issued in the same way as the last one which is also due for release to long term holders. It will be interesting to note share price at day or release as that will be the dividend 100% of the sp,spectacular or what.

It is possible but unlikely that a new dividend could be issued there and then which would make for a double divi-which as far as I know has never been done before.
The dreams of innovative double divi have to go in to the trash can of reality.

For the UK holders different taxation rules may well apply to the dividend?

CICR was suspended for five months of the year....you havent mentioned that Jack. Plus despite what you posted about me being a blantant liar, please post the RNS concerning the "broken promises " IPOS ?. Yes you posted the website clips but not your reasons or the RNS;s clips for IPOS.

You are talking as if CICR is a blue chip company.

Do you mean to tell me that you wre unaware that CICR has been listed for less than 3 years when you invested ?.

Also you posted that you invested at 1.68p per share.

So you have made NO money, not sold a share since it reached 12p and also despite the fact the share price is double what you invested in, you are still carping and are SO UNHAPPY with CICR that you have remained here moaning ?.

Sorry but that does not cut the mustard with me.

Answer for goulding from sense2 on Lse regarding the dividend.

Dividend.Tue 09:53Apologies SS a little late in coming back;
Forecasting the next dividend is difficult as we have only the first one to model on.That was at 4% of holdings registered by a fixed date given as B class non voting shares to be exchanged for A class shares which can be disposed of at the prevailing price one year from last Julys declaration.

In essence when the dividend was declared the share price was in the region of 2p now its in the region 5p that is a 150% uplift in the dividend if it was collectable now.

Forecasting the value of the dividend at date of collection:-value will depend on news flow and the perceived investment reception value of the flow(results) . My belief as described before is the results will be a marker in the companies history by giving a more defining means of valuation through an expected eps which will allow the markets to value the company rather than just on assets alone. If that is the case then an exciting reaction may happen in that share price will gather momentum and tick forward out of the low penny share sector. So adding those if, buts and maybes up we can look forward to a dividend in the region 8pps + or - I do not expect those who sell their dividend share to cause the share price to have any reaction.

With regard to forecast new dividend issued to registered holders of the stock expect it to react in a similar way over the next year but in a far more substantive manner.

Also we should begin to expect brokerage recommendations and IC reviews coming through which will add interest.

Unfortunately, mikes5557, what you, or I, as small shareholders think is not going to have any impact on the CICR share price (unless we are a big investor!!) if the majority of investors at large are not interested in CICR or don't see any profit to be made out of buying it at the current price. This is where a charting technique such as Ichimoku Kinko Hyo can come in handy. It's basically just indicating the current attitude of investors towards CICR. Ichimoku is indicating that the current attitude to CICR, by investors, is negative. Well of course we can see that by looking at the CICR chart!! However Ichimoku is also predicting that this negativity could get worse in the short term until it starts issuing bullish signals again. Will it? We shall see!!

Of course no charting technique can ever account for good, or bad, news coming completely out of the blue; unless of course that news has leaked!!

As sense implies some people should research correctly;CIC shareholders on the register at 31 July 2012 will receive the 4% Dividend which is of variable value as its issued as a B class share to be exchanged for an ordinary share which can be sold on aim 12 months from the date of the declaration.

The dividend was given as 4% of a shareholders existing holding at that time.It was not a declared cash dividend.

Its right there in the company announcements so Sense is correct.

The price of the share when the dividend was issued was 2.45p,the price of the share now is 5p so if the B class were issued and exchange now then they could be sold for 5p each.

So Useless23 Sense is absolutely correct and if when the shares are issued one year from 31 july 2012 the shares are 25p a share thats what the dividend will be,25 pence per share.

Whats more there is every possibility that could happen if you read senses post and see where he is coming from.

The dividend was given to the free float shareholders only.Presumably all know what free float means?

Also lets clear up one point as far as I know an insider has to have 3% of the stock of a company to be declared an insider,so if Sence is an insider it's not declared on the list of shareholders so he cant be,unless of course its to be published later.

So I would be careful in the use of the term insider.

Further an insider is only allowed to publish information that in general is public anyway, what is interesting about all of Sences posts is the way he interprets the facts as he sees them,28 chances of success what with 27 IPOs? yes as everybody forgets CIC is the holding company so thats 28 plus anything else we don't know about.compare that with for instance that gmwo that the troll recommended which might have a single chance of success if its lucky.

Give me `cic any day of the week.

I think he's implying that existing CICR shareholders will receive a dividend in the form of one ("free") share for every share held. Hence the dividend will have a value equal to 5p if the CICR share price is 5p when the dividend is announced or 12p if the CICR share price has increased to 12p by the time the dividend is announced.

How sence knows this I have no idea. Sounds like insider info to me, if it's true. I should go on the lse bb and ask him if you are interested.
