Lose = 1/2p

Win = £1.50+

Lose the forgery case and it's all over we won't even try to retrieve monies spent...

Win and even if they settle on HALF the claim were looking at a share price of over £3...

Trading, or lack of, suggests the parties have the notices.

MM's seem very wary. As do online traders. Tumbleweed is rolling down the high st.

Andy

Do you not get the impression from recent RNSs that this in fact a less binary bet than it once was and that a complex outcome may be more likely than anything else?

-------

I always expect the unexpected, and in CHL's case I do too, nothing would surprise me to be honest.

The Oxus case was a "slam dunk" win, until it wasn't. Everyone was so certain of victory until politics took over.

I hope CHL win and stick it to the ROI, but where people and politics come into play it can get murky.

I hope the right thing is done here.

Remember Roy Jones Jr at the Seoul Olympic boxing in 1988? Totally outclassed his opponent in the final only to see his opponent's hand raised as the winner. Let's hope ICSID are a bit better at their job than those judges in Seoul.

Employers are liable for employees under vicarious liability law, as long as the employee is acting in their employment capacity.

CHL must have been mad to invest in ROI in the first place, reading through the early posts and rns, the license, permits, environmental licenses, tree cutting regulations, transport cost, staffing regulations, employment laws, animal conservation, fuel emission decrees, it was always going to end in tears.

I work in the gaming industry and that is becoming uneconomical here and abroad, business is being squeezed out whereever you look, but an unfriendly government makes it impossible.

CHL only chance was a decent law firm which they most certainly didnt have at first, they do now, thats why, against all the odds they have reached this stage. On the balance of probability, i think CHL have won a resounding victory.
