If one just stayed with Churchill and ignored all the other stocks like Debbiegee has done. Then you would be making money at this point, because you never would of been in Oxus Gold. However there would of been frustrating times, like watching AMC rise from 2.5p to 10p.

I am still at a loss overall, so I take my hat off to Debbiegee for sticking it out through the bad and the good times here.

We still would have to go through the merits and quantum stage.
However most of us think this result now should be the main part of the case therefore more or less assured of an award as we do not believe they have much in the way of merits.
At the quantum stage if we get there ROI have been put into the position where they would not want to challenge the $1.3B that we are asking for.

When you have time best to listen to the youtube podcast in the header for details of how we would continue after the forgery hearing and listen to DQ explain why the $1.3B would not be challenged !

And of course if we get through this stage and they really dont have much in the way of merits and cannot challenge the quantum the chance of early settlement is greatly improved !

That is how I read it Tim. ROI agreed to be bound by the result so if they lose on forgery it is all about quantum. They could go through independent arbitration to agree costs but that would take 2 years + probably so maybe CHL would take a lower ball offer. I imagine that ROI would want this behind them as they push on to get more international investment.

A question , I've held these for over 3 years, I am aware of the upcoming decision, but what are the next steps? If this impending decision rules in our favour, is that basically saying ROI you wrongfully revoked the licences, and then move on to the award of costs/losses? I realise that could take a couple of years to resolve or is there an intermediate step?

Not long now - it's been quite a wait to get to this point.

Before I forget to say in the market madness and chaos that will inevitably unfold once the decision is out, a big "thank you" to Debbie for setting up this board and moderating it. It has been a pleasure to read and post here (and I will continue to do so once we have the judgement).

Personally I don't enjoy the other boards on CHL. Too much name calling, hysteria and profanity for my liking, and not enough insight into CHL, ROI and ICSID. Although maybe it is just me who is unusual in not enjoying that....

Anyway, thanks Debbie - we are indebted to you and hopefully we'll all be smiling in the next few days. I think we will.

Asirius, research is the only advice i would give anybody, not the amount should determine your investment. Some weeks you might not see anything you fancy, so dont invest, save. Then when you do see a good investment in your opinion, go for it.

But losing the lot always has to be considered.

Hi guys, just a quick question. Im starting to invest on a monthly basis via an isa (only £115 per month). Just a quick question, would you wait until you have around £500 before buying shares or just buy £115 worth each month as and when you have the money?

The wording was explicit, within the next two weeks notice of the decision will be served on the parties. Last week was week one, that by my reckoning makes this, week 2.

============================

You are not very good at reading then. Perhaps you should have my name ?

RNS was dated 16th November (last Wednesday) and it stated within 2 weeks. Today is a week since it's release so your idea of being in week 2 yesterday is purely clueless.

It also states it 'expects' to be able to deliver it's decision within 2 weeks .... it doesn't say it will.
