24/11/2016 14:36 | Trump pulling our of tpp will not be good for Indonesia.Indonesia already worried bout Trump.. | neo26
24/11/2016 13:54 | All gone quiet here.Little trading. All waiting expectantly.Agree with whoever posted, that the mms are all looking to keep their books flat. | oggyrocks
24/11/2016 13:46 | The latest news from Jakarta globe is, Joko Widodo had a formal dinner with Indonesian bankers and business men on tues 22nd Nov and told them to calm down and carry on with various businesses, this in the wake of serious rioting in various regions where voting takes place in Feb 2017. He also reassured the gathering that Donald Trump election success will not have a bad effect on ROI. Politics will play a part in this outcome, it would be naive to suggest it wont. So from any reasonable standpoint it would appear that this decision regarding CHL will arrive at a very opportune moment. Joko Widodo can allow the decision to be announced and published Worldwide and watch his political ambitions go down the plug hole immediatly or he can be sensible. As long as those riots continue, joko is in a spot of bother. In this gambling environment my money is on settlement, asap. D.Q. holds all the aces. My resident red tick is still here, how sad is that? | stephen1946
24/11/2016 13:26 | Not Rachmat but I believe he and Luwia have added in subsequent placings bringing their averages down | debbiegee
24/11/2016 13:23 | I did a calculation a while back which gave an average price of 44p per share for these larger investors.Had they also not bought in before that way higher up with about £15m of funds Perhaps that was the others and not Rachmet. | fidra
24/11/2016 13:20 | Here is the relevant rns | debbiegee
24/11/2016 13:13 | Amazing confidence, Thanks Neo. | andyr42
24/11/2016 13:04 | andy £7,738,000, share price was 25p but they paid 40p per share.... One of them later became trade minister of Indonesia but had to step down after "conflict of interest"... | neo26
24/11/2016 13:03 | of course he knows more than us, these guys dont become millionaires for nothing.. It happens everywhere, here in uk too. You guys can turn a blind eye, i wont invest millions in 50/50 | neo26
24/11/2016 13:01 | Neo, Did these 2 investors really buy £7m CHL at 40p each? This is a huge amount for anybody and shows confidence in the legal outcome. Sorry I wasn't aware of this, call me ignorant but happy to be told this. | andyr42
24/11/2016 12:58 | We will know soon ! Meanwhile we must never discredit Rachmat Gobel who is highly respected and known to be very honourable. I would not state he knows more than us but he would of seen all the paperwork signatures chops and court minutes. Maps receipts and feasability studies. As an Indonesian business man capable of being trade minister he must of known what he was looking for and have a far better understanding than any of us. He was accustomed to looking at large contracts, business papers and requirements. | debbiegee
24/11/2016 12:56 | i think its been over 4 years so it cant go on forever | neo26
24/11/2016 12:53 | delay, derail, dispute drag on and on and on ........ | coley15
24/11/2016 12:50 | jnbrw so whats the end game for roi? | neo26
24/11/2016 12:41 | I`m not sure Wall St being closed would have any baring at all. This is a UK listed Co dealing with ROI- Anyway news today is probably too soon... What is interesting is that the AGM is due next Thursday. I`ll wager it is timed to co-incide with that. IE they have the answer by the AGM. | nicebut
24/11/2016 12:40 | jnbrw what am trying to imply they would have more knowledge of what really happened with these licenses. | neo26
24/11/2016 12:33 | Either the forgery case is thrown out or has merit, there will be no in-between like some have mentioned i.e "its complicated", the whole point this case is at tribunal is for them to make decision. One thing i am certain of is if forgery case thrown out chl will get a reasonable payment whether ooc settlement or by the tribunal. | neo26
24/11/2016 12:29 | neo - I dont think saying that the two large indo investors who bailed the co out 3/4 years ago with their cash injection at 40 odd p- did so because..." in a third world country its easier to be in the know if you know the right people.. £7M is a big investment.." that surely reeks of the old regime - corruption and back scratching, that hardly bodes well for the company and doesnt offer any supporting ramifications for our case in terms of the standards of international law...? strange logic | jnbrw
24/11/2016 12:16 | The worst I am expecting here is Estoppel. There may be evidence of Ridlatama doing wrong. But if they did, they did not act alone according to CHL. Officials in Public office have colluded. The fact that it went on so long there was evidence of due process(76 official documents) over a number of years, letters, licenc My view is quantum has been discussed recently as it was mentioned in the RNS by CHL in regard to GOI bringing it up. CHL have not had fair treatment. By what is decided in this part of the arbitration I think will show in what range of compensation we may eventually receive. | fidra
24/11/2016 12:12 | deb im convinced both investors know more than us through various channels. One thing to note, not one of them have reduced their holdings since. Im confident come next week forgery case will be thrown out, just watch out for "black friday" people will be buying shares in last minute. | neo26
24/11/2016 12:04 | Ha Ha ! Only if you don't mind it being on an unsecure server ! FC | flyingc
24/11/2016 12:02 | Shall we send her an email :-) | debbiegee
24/11/2016 12:01 | It certainly does add a bit extra to a positive outcome but nothing is for certain ... ask Hillary Clinton :) | ihavenoclue |
