14/4/2016 15:22 | No wonder he didn't attend the tribunal. I wonder if that was one of the questions Churchill's lawyers wanted to ask him about? | daddy warbucks
14/4/2016 15:20 | Interesting find Rettah - Mr Noor in corruption trouble again. | pb01
14/4/2016 15:18 | So Isran is convicted of "bad practice", same guy who fired the auditor whos findings were in CHL favor. And Isran just happens to be a friend of ..... | scotty666
14/4/2016 15:17 | Slightly better translation but does not look as conclusive as your link Rettah. Here it appears that he slimed out of it. The articles Im finding are for 22.12.2014 | debbiegee
14/4/2016 15:09 | Hi Rettah .yes we have always looked outfor incriminating news of Isran Noor and the article you have found is the 1st time I have seen it. I copied the name of the co together with Isran Noor to see what else came up. There are several articles on the same date but all very poorly translated. | debbiegee
14/4/2016 15:08 | DebbiegeeDon't u think roi have a habit for late payment?Don't you think if they pay the 200k we will fall?I still think we need to forget day to day gyrations and keep the faith that the tribunal will see chl have been shafted and act accordingly | patviera
14/4/2016 14:46 | Wouldn't it be nice if the company decided to suspend the shares till next Wednesday to avoid volatility in the markets. No day traders and MM's stuck twiddling their thumbs wondering how they could have sold so many without having the necessary stock available. | daddy warbucks
14/4/2016 14:41 | Rettah isnt that the guy that fired the auditor who confirmed the CHL licences were genuine? Bodes well for CHL. | scotty666
14/4/2016 14:37 | Lilac is being paid by the MM's to try and get people to sell some shares because they can't balance their books. IMHO. | daddy warbucks
14/4/2016 14:35 | Few decent sized trades, 50k, 30k etc... That's the smart money people. I once said to a friend "why's this share down?", he said "why do you think?", I said "because someone's selling".... he said "or could it be because someone's buying?" | bones30
14/4/2016 14:32 | 1lilac - the rampers were ignorant traders like yourself and I am glad to be rid of them - interested to know why you are still here if you have sold out? | weegeordie
14/4/2016 14:31 | I don't recall seeing this before: hxxp://www.seatiniug "Corruption case, involving Isran Noor, the Mayor of East Kutai of East Kalimantan is a real proof, where state has committed a crime against and violated human rights. In 2014, Indonesia Corruption Eradication Commission investigated the issuance of mining license for PT. Arina Kota Jaya, a coal mining company in East Kutai and indicated that Isran Noor has accepted a bribe of IDR 5 billion from the company" | rettah
14/4/2016 14:20 | It's worth looking back at the chart for how the market dealt with the news of early last summer. The share price jumped up from low teens to low twenties, consolidated for a couple of days (sound familiar ?), and then on definite news the ROI were struggling it soared to well over 50p during the days in question, settling intra day at just over 50p. I wonder what it will do this time around if ROI don't seek to continue ? Logic would dictate much higher than the event last year, although I accept the market is anything but logical when it comes to shares like CHL. Anyway, some food for thought while we wait for the next week to unfold. I would pay good money to be a fly on the wall in the offices of the ROI lawyers...... GLA FC | flyingc
14/4/2016 13:42 | Yes seems it is a non event, the notice is the same as a year ago and just standard procedure. | scotty666
14/4/2016 13:33 | This is last years post on the General meeting....Notice of General MeetingThe Directors of Churchill Mining plc (AIM:CHL) announce that the Company has posted to shareholders a notice convening a general meeting of the Company (the "General Meeting") to be held at 4.00pm WST (Perth, Western Australia) on 1 July 2015 at Suite 1, 346 Barker Road, Subiaco, Western Australia, Australia 6008. The General Meeting will consider resolutions to renew the share allotment and dis-application of pre-emption rights over approximately 15% of the current issued share capital. The notice of General Meeting will be available on the Company's website at If memory serves me right, I looked at this last year. Basically a company can get a resolution passed to allot shares throughout the year, but if they want to allocate more than 15% of the current share issue, they would have to get permission from their shareholders, which would mean holding a special general meeting.By passing the resolution at the general meeting in respect of the pre- emotive rights, we as shareholders are giving them permission to do so without another meeting being held. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THEY WILL DO SO. | daddy warbucks
14/4/2016 13:16 | ROI's lawyers have always stated that, should they win, there will be nothing left in CHL's bank account to claim back their expenses. I've looked at the ICSID rules and there's little to protect one party from the whole thing stopping (or getting hugely delayed) without someone coughing up the outstanding fees. The only recourse appears to be to add them to the last costs submission as CHL has done. As posted before from Rule 42: "Failure of the defaulting party to appear or to present its case shall not be deemed an admission of the assertions made by the other party." It could be the ROI now accept the outcome will be no different in award terms if they pay their fees or not... I tend to agree with debbie that most likely ICSID will continue the only difference being CHL are paying for it! CHL are preparing for the increased costs i.e. latest RNS on share pre-emptions. I would have hoped for far greater penalties than appear to exist from ROI's actions. | frak
14/4/2016 13:06 | Dear oh dear!! Bad Robot 1 Mar'16 - 18:56 - 1486 of 2509 Actually more red marking, makes me come here more often and I know many are visiting and refreshing the page. LOL No news , means drip drip drip BANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN 2p | thejaba
14/4/2016 12:34 | This article helped me understand todays RNS a little better hxxps://www.informdi | jr_
14/4/2016 12:32 | Yes, I can now see that. Also it was a bit strange that if he was prepared to 'deny' any 'negotiations' at the 2015 meeting, why couldnt he deny it at the time as no doubt he would have been asked the question during the share buying frenzy that followed the negotiation's speculation? Still, all that is now water under the bridge. GL | theorb |
