22/5/2013 17:15 | It all well and Richard Kingston saying it is being sorted by AST but this does not solve the Notary problem! Well done getting an email address for AST and a contact, this was missing from the paperwork. I shall send an email to Tameeka Scott pointing this out the problem with the Notary. Also having read the information sheet, I also see that there is no statute of limitations regarding refund requests. I am unsure whether we will receive our shares or money. To be honest I would probably prefer money providing it was fair value, because it would solve the problem of trying to sell them, because they are only quoted in the states. | lancasterbomber
22/5/2013 16:51 | Ps I wonder who decides whether we get the shares OR 'Fair value'from the sale ??!!!!!! | kingrolo
22/5/2013 16:50 | Thanks to Lancasterbomber for providing a name....I wrote a 'pointed' email to Richard Kingston regarding the situation and have received the following reply : Dear MrXXXXX Following discussions with our transfer agent, American Stock Transfer and Trust Co (AST), and its discussions with the State of Delaware, AST is in the process of mailing you a package containing the documentation required, together with detailed instructions, for you to reclaim your CEVA shares (or the fair value from the sale of the CEVA shares by the State of Delaware) from the State of Delaware. These materials will be mailed out to your address on record shortly. As you have already initiated the process directly with the State of Delaware, you may already have completed the process outlined in the package. Due to restrictions imposed by the State of Delaware, neither CEVA nor our transfer agent can initiate a claim with the state on your behalf. In the meantime, you can contact Tameeka Scott at AST (tscott@amstock.com or 718-921-8200 ext. 6496) if you have any further queries. Tameeka will ensure that you receive the information you need to initiate a claim with the State of Delaware, and offer any assistance you may need to follow up with the state. Regards, Richard Hence Everyone here 'should' be receiving a package to complete. What a bloody carry on !!! | kingrolo
22/5/2013 13:25 | Yesterday I received a letter from AST American stock, who look after CEVA share register dated May 13th, note this is BEFORE my email to the Director of Investor Relations at CEVA. It is apparent that the whole Delaware saga has been causing alot of problems for them and they have now issued this letter to explain the situation and what needs to done. Obviously hindsight says this letter should nave been sent before we were contacted out of the blue by the State of Delaware, and made us concerned about it being a scam The procedure seems to be that you fill in the first form to get Delaware to search for an entry for you and then they send you a claim form to get the shares back. It is interesting that AST are saying the following in the letter, I quote "We understand that the process may appear to be overwhelming and have requested, unsuccessfully, to initiate these claims on your behalf" To my mind it is obvious they are admitting having made a mistake and found it can't be undone. I am now at what is step 4 in Delaware's procedure where I have a claim form from Delaware which has be sent back, the main stumbling block is now that I need a Notary signature. The problem with this is that a Notary in States is not the same as in the UK, here it is a more senior position and which is why I am facing a minimum bill for £75 to pay the cost of the Notary signature. As far as I am concerned this is a show stopper and it is up to AST/CEVA to find a solution, so I am not out of pocket for their mistake. Therefore I am awaiting a reply from their Director of Investor relations | lancasterbomber
22/5/2013 13:04 | I have the same issue regarding receiving a letter from the State of Delaware saying I have unclaimed shares and that I had been not contactable which is daft when they sent the letter saying so to my current and correct address. I filled in the first form and sent it off and have just received the second form which includes the need for a Notary stamp and the original Share Certificate. I'm really not happy about sending them the original Share Certificate and so am procrastinating about what to do next. I look forward to seeing what you hear from CEVA Lancasterbomber. | mark4231

17/5/2013 15:59 | I have sent an email to CEVA in the states as follows and to Layla as well I have been a shareholder in your company for over 10 years and yet recently I have been contacted by the State of Delaware, bureau of unclaimed property asking me to prove ownership of my shares! I have just discovered that I will need the form authorising by a Notary, which in the UK will cost me a minimum of £75!!! I consider this totally unacceptable, since I contacted you when I moved house See below: I would like you to reimburse me with any costs that I might incur, since I consider that the fault lies me with your company and not myself I have forwarded a request to our Data Entry Department to process the address change. Regards, Deborah Kramer AST Shareholder Services | lancasterbomber

12/5/2013 15:58 | I sent all my details off some time ago, however I too got another letter asking for a form to be filled in. I think they sent out the wrong form last time, since I was a bit puzzled it didn't ask me for my name and address etc just basically a copy of licence. However this time they seem to want the kitchen sink Copy of passport Copy of driving licence Social security no???? Share certificates And worst of all for it to be signed by a notary!!! Whole form is clearly aimed at American market. the address on the the envelope doesn't even include USA (for foreign owners) Personally I think it's a ploy by CEVA to get rid of their small overseas share owners, because the admin costs are too high | lancasterbomber
10/5/2013 22:41 | I'm in the same fix, had letters from the state of Delaware which I thought were a scam. It goes back to the old Parthus and their efforts to dump small shareholders since they moved to the US as Ceva. Bunch of crooks, nothing more nothing less! | rayrac
10/5/2013 18:09 | Voting card for AGM arrived yesterday. Never had that before, on its own anyway. | haydock
10/5/2013 17:38 | All they want is more forms to fill in to confirm you are the owner of the shares, they asked for it to be signed with someone in authority present and stamped but I skipped that part, will let you know if they get back to me they had my old post code but forms still got to me, money was not asked for will wait for the outcome and post again. | wigger
08/5/2013 19:04 | Thats very interesting wigger. whats involved. are they asking for any cash etc and thanks for the update. i'm still wtg to here anything, i will let you no when or if etc.#Regards i8 | i8mondays

05/4/2013 18:56 | I, too, received a 2nd letter...I think they are trying to find any investors who may have forgotten about Ceva... or maybe, investors where the original owner is deceased... | sikhthetech
05/4/2013 14:36 | I too received a second letter containing a wrong link to a website. The Bureau does exist but I don't still understand how I need to claim anything as I still have my share cert. They talk about 'inactive account for three years' but how can owning a share cert. create an active account? I will contact Mark Udinski the State Escheator for clarification. | irenekent

05/3/2013 13:48 | I've had a reply from Ceva. "Response from our CFO - We understand you received a letter from the State of Delaware notifying you that the state wants to "reunite" you with shares of CEVA's common stock that previously were registered in your name but have since been delivered to the state by AST, CEVA's transfer agent, after AST received no communication from you after affirmatively trying to reach you for 3 years. CEVA is not involved or responsible for this process. These shares were transferred to the State of Delaware by AST under Delaware escheatment legislation. Solely based on our internal research, we understand the letter from the State of Delaware is legitimate. If you want to be reunited with your CEVA stock, please follow the procedures set forth in the letter from Delaware. However, we suggest you do the necessary research to confirm the validity of this process. We encourage you to call Delaware at the number provided in the letter before providing any personal, identifiable information. We also encourage you to contact AST to update your contact information. You may call the escheatment managers at AST: John Buonomo at 718-921-8568 or Tameeka Scott 718-921-8200 ext. 6496. Nonetheless we disclaim any liability or involvement associated with this process. Regards, CEVA Ireland Ltd | dafrog |
