09/6/2013 17:04 | Hi Lancasterbomber are you suggesting that it is safe to just send the share certificate to Delaware and ast will see to the rest of paperwork is this what you are saying as I have received paperwork to fill in. | wigger
04/6/2013 16:40 | Latest response from AST sent Tuesday, June 04, 2013 8:55 AM their time Mr. xxxxx, AST's liaison with DE has reached out to DE representatives to have the requirement of a notary removed. My last communication with our representative was yesterday afternoon. If I don't hear from her by noon, EST, I will follow up expeditiously. In addition, we are working with CEVA to provide them with the documentation that they are requesting for proof of mailing. The certificate that you have in your possession can be sent to the state of DE with no concern. The shares have already been reissued. DE is asking for the certificate as a means of proof of ownership. We are working diligently to get a resolution for you. I apologize for not replying to you prior to my vacation. | lancasterbomber
03/6/2013 17:59 | There is an organisation, recently developed: the private shareholder group or something of that nature ? Not expensive to join & may well be worth it to see if they will take the case. That is their modus operandi. They are usually about on these bb's if you ask around. | haydock
29/5/2013 19:16 | Wigger See previous posts on action taken so far with AST, wait to see what AST have to say in reply to my email. Note there is no time on Delware holding these, since they are not subject to statue of limitation, so no rush | lancasterbomber
29/5/2013 18:56 | Cable is business sec. There's the new FSA. MPs. I cause max hassle when I'm hassled. | dafrog
29/5/2013 18:23 | Lacasterbomber They are requesting a share cirtificate plus a notary. This is the latest form from Delaware and is signed Shawna Williams. | wigger
29/5/2013 17:38 | yep, they weren't foreign when bought.. but I held on after they moved to Nasdaq, which I shouldn't done... strange how they can make them 'unclaimed property' without any prior notice... | sikhthetech
29/5/2013 17:31 | Shares were not foreign when I bought them. Delaware behaving like loony Spanish bureaucrats. They will get bombarded with requests if they interfere with my 33 shares. Will make them work for their money. | dafrog
29/5/2013 17:05 | I received a letter from AST.. They say that they have requested unsuccessfully to initiate claims on our behalf... The State of Delaware have said that "each individual shareholder would have to contact them directly". Further the holding has been cancelled and "the shares were 'escheated & Transferred' to the State of Delaware as 'unclaimed funds' in accordance with the State's laws governing abandoned property". Therefore, my shares were sold on my behalf... I can only claim the value... That's why I don't like holding foreign shares... | sikhthetech
29/5/2013 16:40 | Still waiting response from AST about points I railed with them, concerning notary and share certificates | lancasterbomber
29/5/2013 13:25 | Posted a claim form yesterday with copy of Driving licence, received another claim form today from Delaware, saying they have completed our initial reviev of your claim form. Want more info proof of address, photo copy passport or birth certificate, claim form must be signed and notarized and provide share certificate. | wigger
24/5/2013 11:08 | I've received the package from AST yesterday. Not only is there no explanation of why the shares were transferred to the State of Delaware (after all, AST sent the letter to my current address so they can't say they couldn't get hold of me) it seems that shares transferred to the State of Delaware have already been sold and that at the end of the process we will received a cheque - so my shares have been sold without my instruction! | mark4231
24/5/2013 10:59 | Thanks LancasterBomber for asking the question about how big is the problem. I am going through exactly the same saga as you. I suspect like many other people I started off as a Parthus share holder. From your posts I see you are resident in the UK as are probably many other Ceva shareholders who originally had shares in Parthus. At the time of receiving the Delaware letter I spoke to the UK registrars for Ceva as listed on their website, the registrars told me that they were not the registrars for Ceva, this suggests to me that all that responsibility transferrred to AST in the US. Now clearly something has gone wrong in AST since we used to receive regular communication from the registrars (UK or US)? I find it difficult to understand how it is that AST have lost communication with us but the State of Delaware have no difficulty in communicating with us and subsequently AST were able to write to us on the 13th. May. It seems to me this whole mess is the responsibility of Ceva Inc. and their registrars and they should acknowledge that responsibility and fix the problem. | thegardener2
23/5/2013 19:13 | I too have just had what sounds like the same letter from AST as Wigger has had & haven't yet had the time to get my head around it. Parts of my letter have my details pre printed on the forms by AST who appear to be making some effort to help sort this. being almost apologetic for this long drawn out process, Any how thanks to all who are contributing to this board & well done lancasterbomber in particular. | i8mondays
23/5/2013 17:33 | Heard from AST today Please be advised that we have cancelled the above referenced certificate these shares were escheated & tranferred to the State Of Delaware as unclaimed funds. To claim them back go to Delaware there is five forms in all 2 from AST dated 13th May AST We are writing to you to assist you with the retrieval of your Ceva shares from the State of Delaware, they say they have tried to retrieve my shares on my behalf but have failed and tried to make it easy for me to claim by sending me a form filled in with my details and instructions how to claim them back, in all it is overwelming got to read them several times to let it sink in. | wigger
23/5/2013 17:00 | Still not heard from AST. It would be useful to know from people reading this board how may other people are in a similar limbo state with their shares stuck in Delaware, so we can assess the size of the problem. | lancasterbomber
23/5/2013 16:11 | Why doesn't the company do what a lot of companies in a similar situation have done...Buy back the shares of smaller shareholders...It would reduce their overheads.. | sikhthetech
23/5/2013 09:51 | I had the voting paper. The only problem I have had was a couple of years ago when the AST,tired twice to give my shares to someone else. Eventually they recognised my ownership. Glad we have managed to keep the bb. open. Regards to all you other poor sods. Hay By the way I have never worked out why this company was not a real winner. They manage to be the mkt leader, but seem to be unable to keep their profits growing, when there are others, like Apple who are probably no more capable. Strange, I always thought it was the CEO problem, he could never explain things. | haydock
22/5/2013 22:56 | Wonder why I have only received a voting notification. I will not be voting for the 2 they recommend! Similar problem with Spain atm. Have had house there for 36 years in a UK ltd company name. Paid all taxes and done all the bureaucracy but now have to prove I am a director of the company, get it written by a lawyer here and translated by an authorised translator. And have to have a lawyer in Spain as well at 250 a year plus 21% vat. Bureaucracy kills business and this will not help Spain's dire economic situation. | dafrog
22/5/2013 18:27 | Response from Tameeka Richard: I am discussing this with Sr. Management. I will have a response to you by the end of the day. Thank you for your patience. | lancasterbomber
22/5/2013 18:15 | Absolutely !!!I second that !! Thanks for your help. | kingrolo
22/5/2013 17:31 | All I can say is thank goodness for bulletin boards, or this would have been impossible | lancasterbomber
22/5/2013 17:27 | Thanks... at least we now are starting to know who and what to ask. Keep the pressure on. Like yourself - please just give me the true and fair £ value! | kingrolo
22/5/2013 17:23 | We have been given you as a point of contact by Richard Kingston of CEVA. Sent the following to Tameeka I am now at what is step 4 in Delaware's procedure where I have a claim form from Delaware which has be sent back, the main stumbling block is now that I need a Notary signature. The problem with this is that a Notary in States is not the same as in the UK, here it is a more senior position and which is why I am facing a minimum bill for £75 to pay the cost of the Notary signature. As far as I am concerned this is a show stopper and it is up to AST/CEVA to find a solution, so I am not out of pocket for their mistake. Also they are asking me to post them the share certificates I own, I am not very happy doing this via the post, in case they are lost. When this is all sorted out will we get cash or shares it is not clear Richard Rigby | lancasterbomber |
