26/7/2002 16:42 | So let me get this straight, the number of shares sold that caused our two MM to mark the price down 20% was erm precisely nil? | nav_mike
26/7/2002 02:32 | dmhzx, I tried to get an online quote a few days ago for a massive buy (47 shares) but couldn't even get a price. So yes, very illiquid and even a moderate buy of say 10 shares would probably send this one north. All the best. | rangers99
24/7/2002 22:43 | what's a mcaro? but yes, at the moment it would apply to most of my shares ! | smashersmith
23/7/2002 13:35 | MINUTEMAN: I favour your choice number 2. They've got wind of a huge buy coming up (say around 100 shares or so) so they've knocked the price down to scare out a few sellers. They think they'll get a shedload in at about 4 and flog them off again when they ramp them up to 6. What a shame no-one took the bait. Apparantly the cause for the drops ove the last two days is 'retail' investors panicing. Apparantly all the clever sods in the institution are buying. (So some one from Barclays said on the radio this morning) Smashersmith: Am I confusing you with someone else, or is 'this share is a dog' stored as a mcaro in your PC? | dmhzx
23/7/2002 05:32 | Disagree. The share is very illiquid, yes The stock suffers from terrible PR, yes It suffers from MM manipulation, yes plainly seen today. The fundimentals are good and the price will follow any good news that comes from the company.... or bad | minuteman
22/7/2002 18:10 | this share is a dog. we are going to have to wait at least a year for any possible decent movement up. | smashersmith
22/7/2002 17:37 | 4 scenarios: 1. Large sell order been placed 2. large buy order been placed by an ex Eaton buddy so trying to scare people into selling. 3. MM's just covering their back after massive drop on markets in general 4. DMHZX's suggestion I favour number 4. If she stops down tomorrow, I may cut loose and spend £500 for 10k, seems daft not to at these prices. (just as long as it is small) | minuteman
22/7/2002 16:40 | LOL! Wait until 5.30 to see if anything large shows up. A real shame as I thought the chart was showing signs of life before today. | nav_mike
22/7/2002 16:38 | Mike & ranger: Both wrong. Todays 20% fall has been on the back of no trades at all !!! Maybe somoene just asked an MM to quote for selling 5 shares. | dmhzx
22/7/2002 13:53 | Sizeable dump? Perhaps or just as likely a 5K sell gone through. Not exactly a liquid stock. | rangers99
22/7/2002 13:51 | Joy! Just as I was saying to myself how well my portfolio has held up over the last two days..... Must be a sizeable 'dump' waiting to be reported from around 13.35 | nav_mike
22/7/2002 13:40 | oh dear, down again... | aghumra
20/7/2002 01:12 | Has your cat just died or something...you miserable git. lol. | minuteman
19/7/2002 21:24 | Could you all give me an idea on what sort of level you are invested in this co?? Do people really invest 500 quid? what is the point, the share price increases 1000% wow 5,500 to spend. Life changing. Is it really worth the hassle, it has propably cost more to stay online...... | wannabee rich
19/7/2002 00:50 | Well either Winterfloods are getting a bit enthusiastic or there may be a delayed buy going through | nav_mike
19/7/2002 00:39 | and without a single share changing hands!! | dmhzx
19/7/2002 00:28 | Flippin eck! This ones broken above its 21 day Moving Average - more than most of my tech stocks have! LOL | nav_mike
18/7/2002 15:20 | ...well if you'd like to start Mike, we'll all join in for the ride... | aghumra
18/7/2002 13:23 | ....and there it is - Cor! A grands worth! Makes you wonder what serious size buying would acheive dont it? | nav_mike
17/7/2002 20:47 | Any bets on which day the next trade will be, and if it will be for more than £300?? | dmhzx
14/7/2002 14:45 | But he also said cash burn is now under control. I also think that they may be knocking the development of more software in the head, by the sound of his comments. This in my opinion wouldn't be a bad thing. If they can't make it work then get out and concentrate on making us profit. 10 mill turnover 1 million profit!! I don't care if it comes from actual printing or the software they sell. 1 million profit = eps of 2.5p a pe of 2.4 at 6p Also think that the name cahnge is a good 'un as controlp doesn't exactly roll off the tongue does it?? Looking forward positively | minuteman
13/7/2002 15:42 | I think you are being to optimistic; the company operates in a competitive market. They are currently burning about £100k per month! The cash burn is coming from the Controlp operations, which there was little comment on in the results. If you exclude this element then the acquisitions look promising, however there is a lot of synergy between ControlP and Documedia. | purple
11/7/2002 19:39 | Looking at Mr Taylers statement, he said DocMedia profitable now and that Colour flow is bedding down well after initial problems! Therefor I can only conclude that profitable by next interims | minuteman
10/7/2002 18:15 | I suppose it depends on how much of the acquired £10 mill turnover is profitable. I'm expecting a profit this year. | dmhzx |
