From EU regulation proposal pdf "supply chain due diligence obligations for economic operators that place rechargeable industrial batteries and EV batteries on the market. For this requirement on responsible raw material sourcing (as well as for those related to the carbon footprint and the recycled content levels), the Commission proposal envisages mandatory third-party verification through notified bodies;"

EU - lithium will need to have a zero carbon footprint. It could command a premium

The upgrade to the resources estimate for the Laguna Verde project is due very soon, probably next week.

Then, the maiden resource estimate for Francisco Basin to follow later in August - that was actually supposed to be next year but the company is moving forward at pace on both projects.

The details for the 3rd new project "The Llamara Project" will be added to the company website soon, they are working on a new updated website.

They are focusing on the EU because the EU have virtually no lithium and need to source significant amounts of it.

Anyway, watch the video when it gets released, hopefully that will be tomorrow.

Good presentation. One small point from it which I have noticed from what some PI's have said or might be 'thinking' and was actually a question at the end....it seems like many PI's see the direct lithium extraction (DLE) as some kind of "risk" or "unproven" process, PI's I may add that know little about lithium extraction and even less about DLE. The DLE process is in use now, it works, it is cheap and effective and will become the dominant form of lithium extraction for the brines. But, don't take my word for it...read the research reports on the CTL company website, visit the billion dollar lithium company websites of the other lithium companies using DLE and then come to your own conclusion.

Thank you. Just putting the facts out there for anyone who is interested to do their own dd and research. Once they do I think they will come to similar conclusions. The share price languished after the IPO and didn't really garner much interest, a bit of a slow burner. But that all seems to be changing now as the story is slowly getting out about this company.

I think some PI's have just seen the word 'lithium' and been drawn into these exploration stocks in Africa. With CTL one has a pure play green energy lithium stock, Chile is the best place on the planet for solar insolation and the CEO is very experienced in that field. The board look to me, like a board of a much larger company than CTL are currently, they do not look like the board of a 30m market cap company. With the combination of DLE and solar/geothermal energy CTL are going to be exactly what the Europeans are seeking for their lithium supplies.

Right, another stock a similar to CTL is Aussie listed 'Galan Lithium', their main project is in Argentina and like CTL, they are targeting first production in 2024 with a pilot plant in construction now.

CTL are further behind than where both LKE and GLN are at, but they are rapidly moving forwards and this gap is going to be closed quite quickly as CTL move forward at pace. As the gap is closed and the projects de-risked, the share price has only one way to go. Additionally, the PI's don't seem to understand the competitive cost and time advantage of the DLE mining process, compared to the evaporation brine process and the hard-rock lithium mining (high carbon footprint).

Galan has a market cap of 400m AUD (230m GBP) - Note, if CTL had the same market cap it would have a share price of 2.87p

Things go up and down, but picture not changed and this has just started imo, go look at LKE Lake Resources on ASX and note the m/c. They're maybe 12 to 18 months ahead. Good comparison https://lakeresources.com.au/
