Bones appears to be an investment expert because he posts in every thread at advfn. He always appears as being on the right side of a trade, never making a loss.

Anyway, commodity prices swing in cycle and lithium prices are low at present. This partly reflects the low share price of CTL. This is the right time to buy as everyone is deserting it. In a few years time this share may multiply 10 times as its mines are in profitable operation.

Walton you have missed the point entirely regarding the largest shareholder Regal which is best illustrated by the following statement in the RNS relating to the 22p placing last November:
“ As a part of the Placing and on the same terms as all other Placees, Regal Funds1, which is currently interested in more than 10 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital and therefore a Related Party under the AIM Rules, has agreed to subscribe for approximately £1,200,000 , thereby maintaining its current interest in the Company on the enlarged basis”
What that means for someone with your lack of mathematical knowledge and common sense is that Regal were not diluted because they took enough shares in the placing to maintain their holding. It will also have averaged down the cost per share of their total holding. On this occasion they have taken a large number of shares but not enough to avoid some dilution, which is probably because they intend to correct that by taking a large number of shares in the Australian listing.
I fully understand why the share price has fallen due to the collapse in the lithium price. I am not blaming CTL for it just commenting that it is a depressing situation.
However I am pleased to see that Rio have today announced the purchase for $6.7 billion of a lithium miner that has suffered a similar catastrophic fall in its share price in percentage terms as CTL. Rio have pounced because they see a good future for Lithium and a recovery in the lithium price. Perhaps another large miner will come knocking on CTL’s door in the not to distant future.

Very depressing to recall that just over 12 months ago CTL was at 60p. When I bought in the 22p placing I thought that would be the bottom but now they have placed at 11p. Should I average down again? At what price will the shares be on the Australian float if it completes. At least the largest shareholder keeps taking the opportunity to average down their very substantial loss, so perhaps these very low priced placings are largely for the benefit of the largest shareholder.

Up 10.26% at 21.5p on volume of 330000. Very pleasing to see the strong rise continuing as CTL approaches the important milestone of 22p which was the price of the last placing.

As an existing investor I am pleased to see the recent rise but it needs to continue for some time before most investors will be anywhere near break even. The company last had a placing and open offer last November at 22p which was at a large discount to a shareprice that had declined sharply. I took my 22p shares and bought more thinking that was the bottom but unfortunately it wasn’t. So we need to rise another 3p just to get back to the last placing price.
I believe CTL to be very undervalued against its potential and look forward to the good news that will move this share to a much higher level.

CTL is currently capitalised at £24 million. I have discovered that there is a lithium mining company called Atlantic Lithium Ltd (ALL) operating in Ghana capitalised at £133 million (about six times the value of CTL). ALL has submitted for the application of grant of its first mining licence by the Ghana government.

I may be comparing apple with pear, I just wonder whether CTL has a much promising prospect in Chile than ALL in Ghana.

What an excellent RNS this morning; things are starting to move a pace now. GLA.

Expressions of Interest Submitted

CleanTech Lithium submitted the Laguna Verde and Viento Andino Expressions of Interest ahead of the deadline of 17th June 2024 set by the Chilean government. The RFI process is for the Government to collate interest from all companies and review the suitability of developing a lithium project on all the salars in Chile that were identified as open for development. The Government will consider if consultation with local communities is needed before proceeding with the process to award a CEOL. CTL has maintained open dialogue with local communities since inception of its projects and signed a collaboration agreement with key local communities in December 2023, receiving their strong support for the development of CTL's sustainable lithium projects.

A third RFI submitted relates to the exploration licences CTL holds in the basin of the Salar de Atacama, which are significantly outside the salar margin, and the area designated as strategic under the National Lithium Strategy. This has been designated as the ´Arenas Blancas´ project. The Company has submitted a joint venture RFI with a private Chilean company with the combined licence area of the two companies having good prospectivity. The submission provides a compelling alternative for a sustainable lithium project in the region with a DLE based extraction-reinjection model that protects the hydrogeological balance of the subsurface aquifer and provides for innovative ways to work with the local community.

Two further RFIs have been submitted in joint venture with another party over salars that have been declared by the Government as open for lithium development. Details of these submissions remain, at this stage, confidential but if CEOLs are awarded for these an appropriate announcement will be made.

RNS confirming further good progress:
“ First Batch of Concentrated Eluate Shipped for Processing

Further to the announcement of 14th May, CleanTech Lithium PLC (AIM: CTL, Frankfurt:T2N, OTCQX:CTLHF), an exploration and development company, advancing sustainable lithium projects in Chile for the clean energy transition, is pleased to announce that the initial batch of 24m3 of high quality concentrated eluate, has now left the Company's facilities and is in transit to a third-party processor, Conductive Energy, in the USA for conversion to battery-grade lithium carbonate.

The concentrated eluate was produced by the Company's DLE pilot plant in Chile. The shipment of this batch represents the first of several batches that will be processed into battery-grade lithium carbonate.

Steve Kesler, Executive Chairman and Interim CEO, of CleanTech Lithium PLC, said:
"The shipping of eluate for processing into battery grade lithium carbonate represents further good progress for the Company, as it advances towards commercial production. When the planned downstream processing is completed, samples of battery-grade lithium will be sent to potential off-takers and investors for analysis, which, along with the PFS planned for later in the year, will support the next phase of the Company's development".”

Feel for the investors - the CEO gave me the heeby jeebies and I have monitored but stayed away from this RNS factory!!!

Traveling around China, issuing useless RNS!!!

I have no clue as to how CTL was going to exit with upside for investors?

CTL appears to be a perpetual AIM begging bowl firm!!!

CEO has turned out to be malafide!!! How is he just suspended - Board should have sacked him asap!!!

And how can the CEO not be aware if his shares have been sold?

Potential other fraud?

Not looking good for CTL!!!

I would cut and run - and not espousing as an opportunistic investor seeking to convey doom and gloom.

It is my genuine view - please note what I was conveying re IOG 6-12 months before its demise!!!

A good article for investors to read to understand the lithium market and why the current low lithium price is not relevant when valuing CTL at this time. CTL will not be producing lithium in large quantities for sometime. When CTL is in production the lithium price will be higher than it is now. CTL’s projections were not based on the very high lithium prices we saw 12 months ago. CTL are very much on track with the mining side of the project and it’s unfortunate that their lack of experience on the financial side has hit the share price. They should have been alert to Australian listing and fund raising taking longer than they thought causing them to have to raise funds when the lithium prices were very low. If they had raised in mid 2023 it would be a different story with less dilution.
The Directors need to get back on the road to bang the drum about the company’s excellent prospects in order to get the share price higher before raising money in Australia. We remain below the 22p price of the last raise and that needs to change quickly.
