Wow - good for the shareholders that CTL is recovering.

I am staying away given dubious dealings of the recently resigned CEO - he is still with CTL as an advisor... who know what other issues might pop up!!!

ALL a much better buy :)

The market capitalisation of CTL is £17 million.

Compared with the following announcement today by TM1 below,I should see much potential in CTL.

Technology Minerals Plc (LSE: TM1), the first listed UK company focused on creating a sustainable circular economy for battery metals, is pleased to announce it has signed a binding Heads of Agreement to sell its interest in exploration licences in Leinster, Republic of Ireland. This is envisaged to be effected by the sale of 100% of the issued share capital of LRH Resources Limited ("LRH") held by the Company to European Lithium Limited (ASX: EUR, FRA: PF8, OTC: EULIF) ("European Lithium") for a gross consideration of US$10 million ("the Proposed Transaction").

It is very positive that they have obtained unsecured finance to commence the payments on the licenses:
“ Steve Kesler, Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer, CleanTech Lithium PLC, said:

"Acquiring the 23 Laguna Verde licences under new commercial arrangements, so the Company has full ownership as well as control, is a prudent decision, which will support potential long-term returns to investors. The Company has also been advised that gaining full ownership of the licences will clear the path for the dual-listing on the ASX. While the timing of this decision has been driven by the ASX listing requirements, it was always planned to make these changes for commercial reasons and to provide our shareholders and potential strategic parties with clarity on the ownership position and amounts payable over time. The Board is pleased to have reached agreement with the Vendors on this matter and thanks them for their flexibility over the course of the past few months.

"Having been offered attractive terms by a third party to fund the first staged payment through a convertible loan facility, the Board felt it was prudent to take up this offer, allowing us to continue to focus our existing resources on our ongoing and planned work programmes. We are grateful to the new convertible loan note holder who has demonstrated real confidence in our plans.

"I would also like to recognise and thank our previous CEO, Aldo Boitano, for his crucial role in bringing both these agreements to a successful conclusion.

"Now that these changes have been made, we will look to dual-list on the ASX, with the relevant documentation on this now being under way. We will update our shareholders on this in due course when the application has been made."

Australian listing requirements are stricter than most involving extensive due diligence. The fact that the Australians require todays action to secure the listing is a big positive for me as is the fact that CTL have been able to obtain the finance to comply.

Feel for the investors - the CEO gave me the heeby jeebies and I have monitored but stayed away from this RNS factory!!!

Traveling around China, issuing useless RNS!!!

I have no clue as to how CTL was going to exit with upside for investors?

CTL appears to be a perpetual AIM begging bowl firm!!!

CEO has turned out to be malafide!!! How is he just suspended - Board should have sacked him asap!!!

And how can the CEO not be aware if his shares have been sold?

Potential other fraud?

Not looking good for CTL!!!

I would cut and run - and not espousing as an opportunistic investor seeking to convey doom and gloom.

It is my genuine view - please note what I was conveying re IOG 6-12 months before its demise!!!

Commenting, Aldo Boitano, Chief Executive Officer, of CleanTech Lithium PLC, said:
"I am very pleased to inform the market that our pilot plant has commenced operation with the first volume of lithium chloride eluate produced. Batches of concentrated eluate will be shipped to North America to be converted into battery grade lithium carbonate by a third-party processor. This pilot plant plans to produce significant quantities of battery grade product for evaluation by potential strategic partners, making CTL one of the few companies in the sector to produce pilot scale volumes of battery grade product. The pilot plant positions CTL as a leader in the sector and in Chile, with first eluate production representing a significant milestone for the Company."

CTL appears to have very good relations with the Chilean government so that looks like very positive news for CTL.

A good article for investors to read to understand the lithium market and why the current low lithium price is not relevant when valuing CTL at this time. CTL will not be producing lithium in large quantities for sometime. When CTL is in production the lithium price will be higher than it is now. CTL’s projections were not based on the very high lithium prices we saw 12 months ago. CTL are very much on track with the mining side of the project and it’s unfortunate that their lack of experience on the financial side has hit the share price. They should have been alert to Australian listing and fund raising taking longer than they thought causing them to have to raise funds when the lithium prices were very low. If they had raised in mid 2023 it would be a different story with less dilution.
The Directors need to get back on the road to bang the drum about the company’s excellent prospects in order to get the share price higher before raising money in Australia. We remain below the 22p price of the last raise and that needs to change quickly.

It is good to see the funds raised at the end of last year being put to use on the ground to commence a new drilling program. As has been pointed out the current lower lithium price is not relevant to CTL but has been used to pull down the price of all lithium companies. It’s what the lithium price is likely to be in 2025/26/27 that is important. CTL is right at the forefront of Chile’s new approach to lithium mining and the process by which it will be mined. CTL is not far away from proving its new technology on the ground. Once that has been proven the share price should start to seriously rerate and CTL will be looked at by some of the big boys who may be very interested in acquiring it.

Chile’s Codelco to control new lithium venture with miner SQM'
It is interesting to note that in SQM’s announcement they include this statement:

“ This MoU constitutes a significant milestone in the process of discussions between both companies that began on May 31, 2023, and adds to the recent agreement reached on December 14, 2023, with the Council of AtacameƱo Peoples, to initiate a dialogue process and to establish a negotiation working group to discuss matters of sustainability, participation, transparency and access to information.”

CTL announced on the 12th December that they had signed the First ever agreement with the local people regarding lithium extraction. This demonstrates that CTL are right at the forefront of the new way of lithium development in Chile.

I expect that CTL will have news for us early in the New Year.

An interesting article in the investors chronicle today which focuses on the majors like Exxon moving into DLE but CTL gets plenty of mentions. The last couple of paragraphs are the most interesting……..

It seems that CTL is ahead of the curve with its DLE pilot plans virtually ready to go. CTL could quickly become the front runner in this new technology, so right place at the right time with Exxon validated its something well worth investing.

It could be very beneficial to Exxon to fund or buy out CTL, which could provide us with an early windfall. Chile is one of the world’s main lithium producing countries so the likes of Exxon and Chevron may be keen to have operations there.

Interesting times.
