It's not even on radars yet. Look at this lot, meant to be switched on but totally missing CTL as a DLE play. https://twitter.com/conkers3/status/1562393467388657664Tag them! ha

I think the timelines will be quicker than that, look, the management have said in the last two videos they will be in a position to discuss with big players by the end of the year. I think we will see a major European carmaker come in...maybe two.

LKE are a 1.7b AUD capped company, CTL will close that gap as they drive both projects forward, with the bluesky of the third project. CTL are easily THE BEST LITHIUM STOCK ON THE LSE, in my opinion.

Since the first day they’ve been comparing themselves to Lake, and showing that they could be more attractive. Dyor. See who Lake have offtakes with, see their market cap. Think a year or two ahead. And hold.

They said in original IPO presentation (Fox Davies) that it's likely a 25% divestment of co to fund in future. It ain't going to be at this price lol. Think £2 maybe. More text from IPO presso.-- We believe that CleanTech's Laguna Verde and the Francisco projects are remarkably similar to LKE's, with similar geological settings, grade, region, but with an arguably better, more stable regulatory environment. We are of the strong opinion that investors in the lithium sector are better served participating in relatively simple, well understood project types, using proven technologies; hence, the reason why we think LKE and CTL are directly analogous, just at different stages of the timeline. We believe that it is not unreasonable to project peer valuations if certain events and targets transpire, using LKE as a template to make benchmark CTL.Recent M&A activity in the lithium sector around the world, particular by Chinese interests, are primarily targeting and acquiring large, undeveloped spodumene resources in Africa and South American salars; highlighting how few advanced projects remain in the hands of independent companies, and even more critically, how even fewer still are uncommitted in respect to offtake. CTL acquired (in the midst of a sector nadir) several of the last remaining South American salar resources; making the company a unique global investment proposition.

I say, let Mercedes or BMW pay for the mine..if they want to secure lithium, they can pay to build our mine. If not, we sell to the Chinese.

A 10,000 tpa piliot plant, how much cash will it generate at current lithium prices? :)

- SunResin provides pilot scale units which can be deployed to site with a view to commencing pilot scale production at Laguna Verde by early 2023

-- The objective of the piloting is to demonstrate the potential for a first phase 10,000 tonne per annum commercial scale production being planned at each of the Company's projects.

These guys are expert. Initial production of 10000 tonne, then show the cash flow to the bank and they will get a bank loan to construct the mine rather than diluting shareholders shares.

Fantastic !

Right. We are still very much in the "discovery" phase here with the Francisco Basin, which is potentially the better project. Additionally, we have acquired a vast land package and third license which basically has zero value by the market. If they drill it and prove it contains commercial lithium grades it's also going to have a significant impact on the value of the company.

The below chart was created by the mining legend Pierre Lassonde, worth watching his interviews on YouTube, he has some gold nuggets of information, knowledge and advice. As does Rick Rule and Robert Friedland, especially the latter about the future of mining and the green future.

Probably the shape of things to come in a few years at CTL. Being early is now.

Two of Australia’s biggest lithium miners, Pilbara Minerals and Allkem this week posted combined profits of more than $1 billion. A year ago, both companies reported losses.

Strong demand and international prices led Pilbara Minerals to its first-ever annual profit of $561.8 million.

Allkem, renamed after the merger of miners Galaxy Resources and Orocobre in 2021, is enjoying a strong balance sheet, too on the back of robust pricing that led to an 800 per cent leap in revenue and a net profit of $US337.2 million ($A487 million)

Allkem CEO Martin Perez de Solar is now reassuring investors it holds ample funds to complete construction of a second lithium project in Argentina and start another one in Canada after clocking strong profits on hefty lithium selling prices to battery makers.

Allkem already operates lithium mines in Australia and Argentina and is constructing its Sal de Vida Project in Argentina’s Catamarca Province, which lies within the “lithium triangle”, an area encompassing Chile, Bolivia and Argentina, which geologists believe holds a significant portion of the world’s lithium.

For any newer investors I highly recommend you go through the FD research reports. It would seem that currently the market haven't ascribed any value to Francisco Basin, therefore, it would seem logical that when the JORC comes out we may say a rerating of the sp, based on the valuation.

"The above is remarkable considering that at the time of the IPO, guidance was that the Francisco Basin would be 12-24 months behind that of Laguna Verde"

Where will they source their green lithium from? Europe has virtually no lithium production, China has been buying up lithium projects and mines across the globe for the last decade.

The Salzgitter factory is expected to reach 40 GWh of annual battery output, focusing on prismatic unified cell production. At 40GWh, PowerCo’s international factory would produce enough cells for 500,000 vehicles.

With the battery division, VW plans to invest more than $20.3 billion in six European battery gigafactories through 2030. The battery division’s six cell factories are estimated to have a capacity of up to 240GWh annually—enough batteries for 3 million electric vehicles per year. PowerCo is also looking into building battery factories in North America.

German car manufactures, working together with the German gov moving to sign up lithium and other deals with the Canadians. Good that the Germans are waking up....

In addition to today’s signing, Mercedes said via press release that it also intends to sign an MOU with Vancouver-based Rock Tech Lithium in future to secure a supply of 10,000 tonnes of lithium hydroxide, annually.

Rock Tech’s spodumene mine (the raw material for lithium hydroxide) is at Georgia Lake, Ont. At one point it had plans to build a refinery in Thunder Bay, in a joint venture with Avalon Advanced Materials, but last December Rock Tech reversed course, announcing it had financing in place to build a refinery in Germany, where most of its market activity is located.

Dr. Herbert Diess, CEO of Volkswagen Group:... The supply of battery raw materials and the production of precursor and cathode materials with a low carbon footprint will allow for a fast and sustainable ramp-up of battery capacity

Thomas Schmall, Volkswagen Group Board of Management member for Technology: "As an automaker, we see compliance with stringent sustainability criteria as a top priority. For us, the availability of power from renewable sources and a raw materials sector with mines supplying materials conforming to the globally recognized environmental and social standards are crucially important. That is why Canada is an ideal partner for our e-mobility and battery strategy.”
