Wrong time to throw towel in this am with 1m sell at 1.35p. Final results will be here in around 2 weeks and I am sure we will get updates on Liberia & Nigeria. Why did someone convert 5.5m warrants at 4.75p in Jan, why do Exxon still think African deep water drilling is worth pursuing and what progress has been made by Shorecan???

Indias Essar Group will soon hold a 100% stake in OPL 226 once it signs the final version of the production sharing contract (PSC). OPL 226 covers an area of 1,530 sq km and is located in the petroliferous Nigerian Continental Shelf in water depths of up to 200 meters. Essar Exploration & Production Ltd. Nigeria was awarded 100% ownership of the offshore block in the 2007 bidding round with a signature bonus payment of $37 million.

the Exxon case is about corruption and i think this will go on for a long time you may laugh but i see it as 10/15 years...you know what's it like & no licences permits are going too come from the gov...big oil are running away from this pit ,because the gov are just not going to be dealing the cards

rayguy i know u r a fan but this is a dog please don't get married to this shear Liberia has no infrastructure yet it will take 20yers ( its not like Nigeria ) big oil are not in yet only about 1bill bbls, offshore so its not a play (& the Liberian gov will not be happy if oil is going to nigeria ) that's like a slap in the face...you need to look up Bob Dudely from BP and what he's saying about Nigeria whats he says is nigeria is not the place to invest 2017/2018...i do think a big court case is on going with exxon and i think big oil are going to be pulling out

Anyone remember Equator Exploration Ltd ???

Had its license pulled straight from underneath it and a shareholder group has being trying for years to get something back via Oando - a Nigerian company now listed in Toronto - that got the license for peanuts, iirc.

Nigeria? Why am I even on this board ??? Only a small holding here, but depends on what Art can do.... not as much as he'd hope is my guess, but you never know... hence a small, speculative holding.

Maybe , but he's right.

No UK listed company or private shareholder should touch anything remotely connected to Nigeria.......
