28/7/2014 17:12 | One other I have been building a stake in, and tempted to put all remaining proceeds from BGL into is Touchstone Exploration - listed on Toronto stock exchange, ticker TXP. Also available via pink slips/OTC on US exchange if you can't get exposure to Canadian markets. Drilling next to LGO, have a very fierce drilling campaign for the rest of the year, and a director just bought $200k CAD worth in the open market. Debt free. DYOR etc. | blik
28/7/2014 17:10 | Hi Blik, yes REM on paper looks very interesting. I've bought 400k / £6580 atm, average 1.65 for initial exposure but have another limit buy in at 1.58p and will continue to add if the price declines. Looking to invest about £20k, and prob a similar amount in CNR. Welcome anyones views on those or any others. | temujiin
28/7/2014 16:55 | Tem, I have put a bit in REM. High risk, high reward... Also added to my LGO holding. Still looking for somewhere for the bulk of my funds, will check out Condor. | blik
28/7/2014 16:19 | Congratulations on being a Dad Carl. I'm 50 next month and my fairly newish partner 40 in Nov. May have to get hitched n bang out a sprog as I'm no getting any younger :) Not 100% sure houses will rise too much as free credit is still hard to come by. Maybe pay some off the mortgage n invest / keep some gold upside exposure?! | temujiin
28/7/2014 16:17 | carl79 reduce your mortgage - Keep a bit to play with but not a lot . good luck . | londonfinancial
28/7/2014 16:12 | Good for you Tem! I am in 2 minds...invest in shares, invest in bricks and mortar, reduce a large chunk from my new mortgage... I became a farther (first time) a few months back and there is an unusual drive to stop taking financial risks now. lol will take a look at those stocks though... | carl79
28/7/2014 15:53 | Well after some research I've decided to put some of my BGL cash into Condor as I see the grades are great 3.1g/t, and in a friendly mining country plus they are planning to open pit mine initially rather than go for the other high grades via mining. Downside is they need a few more $million to continue feasibility...sounds familiar everywhere. Like Arian n bought some, good low cost miner but needs funding to complete building the mine, after which they should be quite a profitable outfit with output and exploration upside. Highland Gold, like as they are low cost producers and pay a divi, ashame it's in Russia but then we got shafted in Oz! Also building a stake in REM, huge potential, share price volitile so try not to buy on spikes. | temujiin
28/7/2014 10:18 | Barclays Stockbrokers still not paid me. At least I won't lose the money on some other goldie! | sat69

28/7/2014 10:00 | Having bought more than 75% ... Norton have now advised of their intention to delist the Company. No surprise there then. Norton Gold Fields Limited ("Norton") has today released its Fifth Supplementary Bidder's statement. The statement as well as the full announcement released by Norton is available on the ASX website. The Offer is now scheduled to close at 7pm (GMT) on 18 August 2014. Norton has announced that, having received the necessary ASIC approvals, it has today extended the Offer to now include the 6,775,968 Bullabulling shares issued by Bullabulling subsequent to the announcement of Norton's Offer (namely the shares currently quoted on the Australian Securities Exchange under the code BABN). Holders of BABN shares will shortly receive the Offer materials, and will be able to accept the Offer in accordance with the instructions contained in those materials. The Offer for the BABN shares is on the same terms as the Offer for all other Bullabulling shares. Consequently, Bullabulling has requested a suspension in the trading of the ASX share class BABN prior to the commencement of trading on 28 July 2014 pending a reclassification of the share class to BAB. The Company will also seek application for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM following this reclassification. Norton has also today provided further guidance on its intentions for Bullabulling in the event that Norton obtains a relevant interest in more than 75% but less than 90% of all Bullabulling shares on issue. This guidance is set out in detail in Norton's Fifth Supplementary Bidder's Statement, however Norton advises (in summary) that where the minimum 75% relevant interest threshold is met, it is Norton's intention to seek to delist Bullabulling shares from the ASX, subject to compliance with the ASX Listing Rules. | leedskier
26/7/2014 16:40 | FYI re NGF payment times. For shareholders who accept the offer, payment should be made within 14 days, although some additional time may be required for payments in respect of Bullabulling shares held as Depositary Interests. Regards Richard (NGF) | temujiin
