02/7/2014 09:06 | Agreed temu. I was surprised by the RNS. Maybe later this morning? | hiddendepths
02/7/2014 08:36 | I would be expecting some sort of statement in the next couple of days until then I will be standing firm with my small investment | sweepie2
02/7/2014 08:31 | Their response at this stage does not need to be final. Just informing us of what they are doing would be nice...a holding statement of sorts.Once offered, can an acceptance be reversed? | carl79
02/7/2014 08:13 | True HD, but every day they wait I feel pi's will be throwing in the towel thinking its a lost cause, so an statement to hold firm while they talk to NGF would have been appropriate imo. | temujiin
02/7/2014 07:46 | The lack of an immediate response RNS to try and rally the remaining 59% would suggest that the BOD see this as a lost cause. | temujiin
02/7/2014 07:29 | That's the wrong RNS! | hiddendepths
01/7/2014 22:19 | Gold Stays Firm as Bullabulling Gold Ltd and Central Rand Gold Limited Surge Higher Today, 10:17 PM | 21traader
01/7/2014 20:28 | leedskier 1 Jul'14 - 12:45 - 6711 of 6728 0 0 edit The catch 22 is to take no action and Norton do not acquire 75% and I end up as a minority shareholder. | leedskier
01/7/2014 20:27 | leedskier 1 Jul'14 - 12:42 - 6710 of 6727 0 0 edit In view of the posts which precede, I have just spoken to Corporate Actions at my Brokers -- Redmayne Bentley. As I have so far not made an election, I can do at any time up to 16 July and receive AUD 8 cents. If however Norton acquire 75%, if I take no action, I will have been deemed to have accepted the offer and I will receive AUD 8 cents. edit: Please do not rely on this post as advise. Each must contact their own brokers. | leedskier
01/7/2014 20:06 | I was just checking my account on Interactive Investor where I have my BGL shares the last corporate action notification ended on 26th June at 15.00 I have not received any up to date one so not sure if I can accept at this stage. | iant67
01/7/2014 20:00 | Time to fight back ... | leedskier
01/7/2014 19:50 | So with this, that is four precious metal miners in a couple of months that have left the City. ELR (was jointly listed here and in Canada -- delisted here). MML (was jointly listed here and in Australia -- delisted here) VGM delisted. BGL probably will be delisted here and in Australia. | leedskier
01/7/2014 18:07 | One would hope the BOD will give guidance tonight, though it may be they need to establish what NGF's intentions are. NGF are still 9% short of certain all out control, but I wouldn't bet against them now, at 30% maybe, but 41%, well the ii's have sold themselves, and us, out for song. | temujiin
01/7/2014 16:38 | Yes Sweepie it does...And our BOD's silence is not helping . If there was any hope, it likely depends on our BOD minimising further capitulation...but.. | carl79
01/7/2014 16:16 | Meanwhile POG is drifting upwards, makes you sick | sweepie2
01/7/2014 14:33 | Water under the bridge. I'm looking at some more goldies now | richie32
01/7/2014 14:28 | best proxy to gold might be oil Co or agri. | odvod
01/7/2014 14:27 | If this goes sour, it is not ii fault or banks, or PI that took the deal - it is our BOD's for not doing a good enough job of prenenting a viable alternative future that people would buy into - hell they didnt even need to buy into it - they just needed convincing not to sell out of it! At 8c a share, you would have thought they would not need too much convincing to remain invested but 41% sold regardless. That is the BOD's issue. They should have been more proactive imo. | carl79
01/7/2014 13:41 | It does not say much for the Australian Banks, assuming the Board approached them, if they were unwilling to help BGL kick start an open pit gold mining project in Australia, on a 'reserves based lending' basis. | leedskier
01/7/2014 13:30 | Especially as China is vacuuming up gold. | leedskier
01/7/2014 13:28 | Bet Norton are happy... | carl79 |
