24/2/2005 08:40 | Also had a little go at EASYNET. I thought those figures and the statement were very positive. It has 40m in cash and I believe the market undervalues it. | hybrasil

22/2/2005 10:21 | I bought another 27000 shares this am in various bits. | hybrasil
21/2/2005 21:45 | Yes jak I agree. Beginning to build momentum and I reckon a lot of consolidation will happen in this industry and brv could be part of it- both ways! | hybrasil
21/2/2005 18:11 | Lots of trades today, with two massive buys of 243,000 shares each. Still a long way to go imho, with a lot more interest being evident from the number of shares traded. There are potentially loads more deals to be done by BRV. Sit tight, all very exciting | jakleeds
21/2/2005 18:07 | Well another 4.3% rise today. I only need now 14.7% to be right! | hybrasil
19/2/2005 17:01 | Very few posters here for what I think is likely to be a go go share. Its in the right sector everything now consolidating and brv is playing its part in that and indeed may play a part in someone elses play. I think you could see a further 20% gain very quickly on top of Fridays 11%. | hybrasil
18/2/2005 16:06 | bought a few more more this afternoon over 70p. This is still not the flotation price | hybrasil
18/2/2005 12:48 | making some headway at last, will probably meet some resistance around 70p! | dr agon
18/2/2005 08:52 | 52000 shares traded so far this morning, all buys. Looks good | jakleeds
18/2/2005 08:14 | I did buy some more the mms have precious little stock | hybrasil
18/2/2005 07:23 | Todayd announcment is yet another positive step for this company. The 'confident of meeting expectations' bit should give the share price a bit of a filip. In fact I might even buy some more. EDIT 7.35 Even as they only start putting up their prices the mms have marked their prices up by 2p. This could have a stellar day | hybrasil
16/2/2005 15:28 | VoIP has occupied a prime position in the news recently, with a heavy VoIP focus at Comptel/Ascent’ However, this evolution will be a speedy process, according to analyst Atlantic-ACM. Its report, VoIP Revolution 2004-2009: The Opportunity, The Market, The Players, predicts that the market for VoIP services in the US will grow at a compound annual growth rate of over 64% between 2003 and 2009. Enterprises are expected to provide the largest concentration of growth, despite the current hype around residential take-up. The SME market provides a major opportunity for suppliers of managed services, according to Atlantic-ACM. Businesses with fewer than 500 employees are being targeted with IP Centrex/hosted PBX – the most costeffective route for those businesses unable to afford the upfront capital costs of a PBX – and IP PBX services. US SME VoIP service revenues are expected to grow at a CAGR of 77%, it said. In the large enterprise space, growth is expected to be at a CAGR of 47% over the next five years. Overall, enterprises are expected to account for 66% of the US retail VoIP market in 2004, with the SME segment accounting for 15.3%. The market said that the large size of the enterprise market is due to VoIP WAN services between many sites that are not part of consumer, and not usually part of SME VoIP revenues. Atlantic-ACM’s Aaron Nutt noted that enterprises are looking at VoIP in terms of “hard ROI and soft ROI”. The hard includes toll bypass and arbitrage, while the soft is productivity gain for employees, and real-time communication. “The trend is towards managed IP VPNs,” said Nutt. “Initially there weren’t many service provider options so a lot of enterprises decided on CPE solutions. But when you do cost analyses managed services have the advantage. The big benefits of network-based managed services are a high degree of scalability compared to ATM and Frame Relay…It is made easier to connect up, and it appeals to diffuse enterprises.” The market for managed IP VPNs and private intranets will present a big opportunity for wholesalers, said Nutt. He cited the example of the Navy Marine Corps Intranet programme (NMCI), valued at $6.9 billion over 10 years, where MCI is responsible for WAN connectivity, and EDS is responsible for overall service delivery. He added that reliability remains top of the list of concerns about VoIP. “In the enterprise space you are seeing companies converging solutions. The difference between voice and data is that voice is real-time and so proven reliability is needed here. Also there’s the security aspect of voice over the PSTN (which is very secure) and companies are used to the proven reliability of the PSTN, but as you move to IP there is always a lingering question – you always have to be vigilant.” Atlantic-ACM predicts that enterprises will begin to adopt VoIP more heavily as PBX equipment wears out as part of its natural lifecyle. “There was a wave of PBX purchasing in the late 1990s. This equipment has a shelf life of around five years so much is looking to potentially come to the end of its lifespan and companies will move to IP Centrex,” Nutt said. Nutt sees wholesale opportunities arising in white-label VoIP services. “Volo, Sprint and Level 3 are taking advantage of the trend to offer turnkey solutions to other providers: Sprint has a contract with Time Warner Cable, and Level 3 has been targeting cable companies,” he added. | jakleeds
05/2/2005 16:38 | Thanks, jak. I will try to have a proper look at BRY. | diogenesj
05/2/2005 11:03 | Diogenes, Sorry for the delay in replying. Both these and BRY look pretty good in my opinion. They both appear to have decent products, decent growth prospects and cash in the bank. BRV in particular, if they can meet growth forecasts, will be on a peg of only about 0.15 and per of 10. I've spoken to people about VOIP and it is set to be huge, as it is already in Japan and the USA. Okay, there is competition from the likes of Pipex, but that can only be expected. On fundamentals, BRV loks pretty good. This board is still pretty quiet so it looks as people haven't caught on yet to the growth prospects, and the same can be said of BRY. As always dyor of course. | jakleeds
02/2/2005 12:54 | Hi jak. I don't feel too confident about these (in view of their reputation, mentioned repeatedly above), but I'm hoping they may sort themselves out. It's hard to keep up with these new issues. Hadn't come across BRY. Are they worth looking at? Forecasts look quite bullish. | diogenesj
01/2/2005 17:50 | Nice to see you again Diogenes. I have to say it gives me a whole lot more confidence now that you have bought some!!! Did you get any bry? | jakleeds
01/2/2005 15:00 | Bought a few today. You've got to do something to fill the time. | diogenesj |
