Bought some Johnston Group this am (JHT) trading at about 1/2 NAV.

No I don't - hadn't seen the company until I saw your thread - am not in the market for small cap AIM (from memory - I think it's AIM) companies at the moment. From the very brief look - I think it is interesting - but high risk. If I were looking to invest, I would want a lot more info. Best of luck with it if you decide to go ahead.

Business Serve makes a further acquisition, making four since it floated in
February 2004


Business Serve plc, one of the UK's leading ISPs, has completed another
acquisition for a total consideration of £404,000 in cash and the issue of
159,000 Ordinary Shares at 62.9p per share. This brings the total number of
acquisitions made by the Group since its flotation on AIM in February 2004 to
four.


The Group has acquired the assets and customer bases of KB Media Limited ('KB
Media'), which specialises in selling broadband targeted at the reseller market.
The company has a customer base of over 4,000 and following the integration of
KB Media, Business Serve will have in excess of 40,000 customers.


Simon Cleaver, Chief Executive of Business Serve plc, said:

'As with all our acquisitions, KB Media has strengthened the range of services
offered and will create further upsell and cross sell opportunities within our
expanded customer base.

'KB Media was chosen for the ease of integration into the Group as it
comfortably fits into our Indirect Sales division. Significant cost savings
will be achieved through the effective use of our existing infrastructure,
network synergies and increased purchasing power.

'This further acquisition continues Business Serve's aggressive acquisition
strategy in the highly fragmented ISP marketplace and brings the total
acquisitions made by Business Serve to ten within the last three years.'

John Lee metioned this in his column of the 3/4th July in the FT. I had never heard of them and I see yesterday the share price hit an all time low. There is very little information about them online so I will have to resort to ringing the company for paperwork.

Does anyone know anything about them , the people behind them and what they do?
