Closed at days high..which is a good sign.Brokers havent even factored in the impact of Pipe which has just turned into profit.Although Pipe is currently operating on a small scale there is potential of selling the voice over IP service to over 40000 BRV customers.Mouth watering Id say..:o)

The reason for the increase is the latest purchase, Pipe Media. Voice over IP is going to be massive. £2.99 per month subscription gives calls to other broadband users for free any where in the world. 1.25p per minute to UK landlines. 1.0p per minute to the States. Use your IP phone anywhere in the world at hotspots. Potential is huge. I bought at 48p this am. Will add on any dips.

Have just spoken to the company secretary (rachael southwart) concerning the sorry state of affairs with their customer services and the poor reviews.(sent her the link above as well)
Good news is that they have recruited a top level Operations Director from Easynet who is taking control of the service operations
They have also recruited additinal support staff ..3 now..more to come.
They are determined to improve the level of service and focus on customer satisfaction measurands.

Remeber they were trading at 80p early in the year..that was even without the benefits of recent acquistions..

Not that I am aware alf.Negative reviews are by a handful of disgruntled customrs out of 40000 on books...numbers make a compellng case

the numbers suggest that they are a 'buy', but the reviews suggest a bit nore caution than I had at first thought appropriate. I still hold a few and like teapreacher I would be interested to know what caused todays interest ... have they been tipped over the weekend?

Nurdin they did state that the number of customers was "over 40000" but I don't think it was as many as 300000.

I think it is useful to be aware of disgruntled users, but also I believe people are much more likely to make such posts if they are unhappy about something rather than not, because they are content.
I think this is born out when looking at holiday review sites. They are full of negative reviews as people are more motivated to make the effort when disgruntled. IMO.

Hmmm interesting Ray.Whilst reviews like this are a turn off do remeber they had over 18,500 business customers at the time of floatation..believe this number has swollen to over 30000 now.There are bound to be some disgruntled customers among them and for all we know some of them could be ex-employees with a grudge.Agree though reviews such as these could be damaging and I intend to email the link to the company and see what they have to say.

Reasonable CR? Two year average forward pe of 8...60% eps growth year on year forecast,cash in hand,direcors buying heavily and operating in a mushrooming market.More than reasonable Id say...;o)

Nowt wrong in that Alf. Only had a few of these myself. Probably more exciting things around but you have to spread it about and this one looks reasonable.

Interesting that the shares were placed at virtually no discount to the market price.Directors have been loading up...so guess they must see significant synergetic value in the acquisition.After racking up losses over the last few years Pipe has moved into profit.Got a feeling the acquisition will be earning enhancing in the first year and the eps contribution will be higher than the dilution caused by the new shares.Pipes previous losses will also help offset taxes for this year too...

Delivery Issue

There is an issue on the mail system at the moment that is preventing new mail from being delivered into customers POP boxes. This is being investigated and a further update shall be published shortly.

ADSL Login Error

We are currently having an issue with our ADSL network, this is causing an error when users attempt to Login. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue.

We are still experiencing severe problems with ADSL authentication. The problem appears to be a network issue between ourselves and BT. We are currently working on this issue with BT at the moment.

This is off the network status page on the BS website, we used to get this every week for 12 months. Directors will buy a few shares to protect there existing shareholding, its only when they buy significant amounts that i would take notice. As for the profit, it was a miniscule pre float profit, lets wait for the half year!!!
