The management of any company that is on the verge of bankruptcy are solely responsible for that position
End of!!

Am I missing something here?
If you were to drive your car into a wall do you not think its quite a stupid question to e.mail someone asking them what they would have done differently to avoid the wall??
If my business was on the verge of bankruptcy do you not think it would be a stupid question to e.mail a stranger asking them what they would have done differently to avoid the bankruptcy
What a ridiculously stupid question!!

I'm not sure if you mean you would have gone to sleep.
The question is perfectly reasonable. If the management are to be blamed then it must be possible to pin down exactly which decisions they made that you disagree with and how you think you would have handled things differently.

Judijudi,
Why don't you be specific about the 'huge' mistakes the management made and tell us what, exactly, you would have done differently.

naiad, srop,
So who do you blame for BRR nearly going bust?
Me, you, your next door neighbour?
So who do you blame for the Shyte price wehave for the shares?
Me,you, your next door neighbour?
The management backed themselves into a corner. They made huge mistakes and this was obviously the only door left open.
Its glaringly obvious
How anybody can say "we have the management to thank" is to be honest living in Cuckoo land or just unbelievably naive!

probably worth remembering that if BRR hadnt been taken over by JLP it would have probably gone bust and your shares would be worth nothing so better to have some shares in JLP than £nil.

It seems school is out and the children have invaded this BB.

WD - many value your insights into the mining industry. I certainly have, being a novice in the mining sector and thank you for sharing your knowledge, it has been a useful addition to my own research which is woefully inadequate.

Any management team would have struggled to deal with the accumulation of economic issues of the past few months - and months to come. At least BRR shareholders have an opportunity to move into a larger business and extricate some value and in due course might even see a profit from exploitation of the various assets the enlarged group owns. We have management to thank for doing that deal even if we don't like the pricing. It is the best offer on the table and better than being shareholders in an illiquid/insolvent business.

Assagai - there are no internal contradictions ! I have crossed swords with judijudi on this thread in the past but more recent events caused me to reappraise my view. In fact the last time we crossed swords, judujudi and WD combined against me. That is just the rough and tumble of interaction on BB's but it does not constitute bullying.

Anyway I agree - lets drop it now !

I cam on here to see what all the fuss was about on BRR as I have shares in JLP and thought that there might be something happening....turns out it was just JJ wetting his knickers again and blaming anyone and everyone in the process for his losses here.....

Come on guys it was bad enough reading half of these posts the first time, let alone posting them again.

Back to the company. When can we expect an update on the progression of the merger and when will this vote take place?
