22/12/2016 16:54 | Unless there is a surge of volume to push it up I would expect a retest of 500. | bracke
22/12/2016 16:40 | Very close to that ML, holding with confidence right now, but as you say the last swing high has to hold. I see the last minute selling didn't do much damage :-) | optomistic
22/12/2016 16:33 | MORE!! YOU WANT MORE!! The share price has broken above the last swing high which it needs to hold above. It then has to move above the ML (middle blue sloping line. If it can achieve that then you'r in with a chance of 'more'; notwithstanding OPEC and its ability to deliver....... BP DAILY | bracke

18/12/2016 22:06 | Interesting to see what the market reaction is tomorrow to the deal in the Emirates. Also the issuance of new shares at 447p and the effect on the share price. | bill hunt
17/12/2016 18:13 | Eu want Brits to pay an annual fee for the Eu citizen privilege. Perhaps UK could do the same; on c350,000 net annual immigration that would raise some dosh. Back dated to the Blair era that would be a lot of dosh. I remember distinctly Blair lying through his teeth on that issue. If Merkel is, as some think, a Russian agent, then her stance on free immigration into Germany and the rest of Europe over the last few years makes sense. | philo124
17/12/2016 16:48 | Exceptional singer Peny, sad loss. | optomistic
16/12/2016 21:15 | Evening all. Just turn the sound up, and listen. Trade well and prosper throughout 2017, and give the bookies a hammering. | penycae
15/12/2016 12:31 | Penycae Not read or heard that. Free movement is one thing but the right to vote in EU elections!! Is there bribery at foot!!! | bracke
15/12/2016 11:33 | Morning bracke. Do you know, I'd never rule anything out after what's happened in 2016. I read somewhere (just the other day) that the powers that be in Europe are considering offering associate EU citizenship to any Brits that might want to take it up. Would give the right of free movement, and the right to vote in EU elections. I bet that more than 52% of Brits would go for that, if it was actually on offer. | penycae
15/12/2016 11:04 | Good day Penycae What we need is a 'President Trump to get the FTSE motoring. What about Prime Minister Farage he might fit the bill. | bracke
15/12/2016 10:56 | Morning all. Every morning, just before me and the hound set off for a bacon sarnie and a glass of Krug, I sit down with the monkey, and we scroll through each and every company in the FTSE 100. It's almost impossible to work out how they set the weighting on the FTSE by the price of each constituent member. There are shares which look extremely undervalued (chartwise that is) while others look fit to blow. If some of the 100 companies hit pre-credit crunch numbers (and why shouldn't they?) the FTSE would be around 10,000. The DOW is close on 20,000, yet a lot of the anal-ists still think there's a good way to go. Just makes you think.... | penycae |
